Bigbasket — Worst delivery | |||||
There are several issues that i would like to highlight with bigbasket. 1. order number mcvo[protected]; date of delivery - 27th dec 2016; slot chosen for delivery - 9:30-12:00 pm. the products were delivered at 7:55 am instead. this is not the first time but of late i dont get my orders delivered at my chosen slot. the delivery person choses to deliver whenever he wants to; but he makes sure that the order is updated only at the time slot mentioned in the system, so per their records it shows as if they delivered it only during the chosen slot. 2. order number mco[protected]; date of delivery - 19th dec-2016. it was a prepaid order and the delivery person came and put everything on the floor and literally flew off. he did not wait for us to verify the product items or quality. i found the lemons in the order list were spoilt but i couldn't return as the person was not available nor he gave us time to check the quality. i was helpless to contact big basket immediately due to connectivity issue at my place to phone lines and internet as a result of the recent cyclone at chennai. so, the money that i paid towards that product went to drain. Both the above issues have become recurrent nowadays. i am now afraid to make a payment prior as the delivery people does not allow us to check (unless it is a cash on delivery he doesn't wait). with the current demonetization situation, i am unable to do a cod every time to overcome this issue. adding to this, what is the purpose of asking for a time slot when you cant deliver during that time. you cannot deliver products as per your convenience, and if thats the case, then don't ask people to select the convenient time slot. completely doesn't make sense. I think i would prefer going back to super market for my monthly provision lists and move away from big basket. big basket is more frustrating actually. Was this information helpful? | |||||

On Dec 21, 2016, I had orders vegetables via express delivery . Our of 1kg tomatoes, 500g are rotten and some capsicum are also rotten. Its my second bad experience on second order. It's 100% bad experience as last time I had not received the order . I have kept veg for return plz collect your property before it spoils further
