Billdesk — Amount Deducted but Merchant says payment failure

On 30th July 2021, I paid the electricity bill of amount Rs 8913 to WBSEDCL through Paytm App from my SBI ACCOUNT. The Payment was successful but the status on WBSEDCL site showed pending. They said, they have not recieved payment confirmation from payment gateway "BILLDESK". Now WBSEDCL says Transaction failure. The money should be returned to my account. THE UPI REFERENCE ID FROM PAYTM IS :[protected].

I have made payment of Rs. 707 against BSNL Landline bill through Indusind bank debit card on[protected] at 12:35 PM. The amount Rs. 707/- has been deducted from my account. But payment failed. After contacting BSNL customer care, it was told that the amount has been credited in your account within 24 hours. More than 5 days have been passed, no amount has been credited in my account. You are requested to kindly credit the amount in my account.
