Bima Lokpal — failure for reimbursement of the mediclaim.

Address:400605
Website:www.religarehealthinsurance.com

I am Mr. Bharat Patil writing you to request reimbursement of my mediclaim amount that was denied by Religare Health Insurance. I am customer of Religare Health Insurance Policy and my policy number is 13537433. I have been customer of Max Bupa from 2011 and I ported my policy in January 2019 to Religare Health Insurance.

Recently in June my daughter Ms. Lisha Patil was admitted twice in the hospital, once for kidney stone operation and second time for the post operation fever. Both the time our cashless proposal was denied giving the reason of non disclosure. Denial of this claim was not justified and I am appealing the denial. The explanation of benefits did not give adequate information to establish the validity of this decision.
At the time of policy porting we have mentioned each and every detail of existing and pre existing diseases details to the agents including her kidney stone. But maybe agent have failed to include it in the document, due to which we are facing financial problems. Our total bill amount paid by us was Rs.1, 35, 000 . And also during hospitalization we tried contacting our agent but agent did not respond to our calls . Now we feel that we have been cheated as a customer. I request you to help us with the issue as we have completed all the procedures and submitted all the documents required for granting mediclaim according to the terms my policy.
Please review this claim again. The information is to reflect the appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
Thankyou
