Blue Dart Express — delivery agent cancelled order without attempting to deliver | |||
I had ordered from amazon which was to be delivered by blue dart, package no awb# [protected]. I got a call in the morning 10:18 am from the blue dart's delivery agent (Mobile no - [protected]), saying that package was available in the local courier office. But instead of delivering the order to the mentioned address, the delivery agent arrogantly asked me to pick it up from their office or the delivery will be delayed as they were apparently busy. I conveyed my ability to pick up and said him that i was okay with the delay. I then called him again, on the mobile number - [protected], in the afternoon at 4.30 pm regarding the status of my order. He again arrogantly and rudely asked me to pick it up from the office. I told it was his job to deliver and told him i will be waiting for him to deliver. Instead at night i received a message from amazon and blue dart that the order was cancelled. This outraged me, as it can be seen that the delivery agent cancelled my order without even attempting to deliver and added that i, the customer, cancelled it. And it can be seen from other complaints that such complaints about delivery agent cancelling order on their own isn't uncommon. As a courier service delivery agent, it's their job to deliver, instead of asking customers to pick up the order. I need a strict action taken against such rude, arrogant and rouge delivery agents causing trouble to customers like me.
