A shipment assigned to me by Avvatar India (Blue Dart tracking number: [insert tracking number]) was refused by me on 24th July 2025 at the delivery address. However, the package is still "held at location" for the past 5 days (as per Blue Dart tracking), with no return-to-origin (RTO) movement initiated.
This is causing a serious delay in my refund process, as the seller is waiting for the product to return before issuing the refund. Blue Dart’s inaction is directly impacting me financially.
Key points of concern:
Why is the refused shipment being held instead of being returned?
Why hasn't the RTO process been triggered even after 5 days?
Is it Blue Dart’s policy to hold shipments indefinitely after refusal?
I request the forum to:
Direct Blue Dart to immediately return the shipment to the seller.
Ensure that their internal processes do not cause such delays in post-delivery refusal scenarios.
Penalize or warn Blue Dart for poor logistics handling and causing financial inconvenience to the customer.
