Address: Prozone mall, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

I booked 2 tickets at prozone mall. I reached the theatre late due to traffic. Once i reached the hotel, they were like this ticket has not been booked and you have to buy 2 tickets. But i was deducted 662rs for 2 tickets and beverage from my card while booking the ticket. The staff there informed me that the money will be refunded. But there is no refund initiated yet.

Hello Magicpin,

I had paid the money for the voucher of the book my show. My money has been deducted and I didn't get the coupon. So I would like to get my money back.

I was charged internet handling fee of RS 77.88 for booking tickets in book my show in PVR chennai.
It is illegal to charge this fee to the consumer..

Why we are paying Internet Handling charges if we are paying for internet and not book my show.
They are not allowed to take any extra charges.

    I booked 2 tickets for a movie through phonepe app on bookmyshow. The transaction was cancelled due to some reasons and the amount got deducted. I contacted both phonepe and bookmyshow, but they said the problem is not from their end. I didn't get my amount of rs.257/- back after a cancelled transaction. I have lodged the complaint three weeks ago. You asked my contact number to proceed further in this issue. ("my contact number is [protected]").
    Now please do the needful as soon as possible. Thank you.

    Ideally, for an unsuccessful transaction the amount gets refunded within 4-5 working days, some banks may take 10 working days. Also, if you have used a wallet it will reflect within 24 hours.

    Hi,

    If you are a superstar customer, you'd be able to cancel your tickets under 'Purchase History'. We now also have a cancellation feature available for a wide range of cinemas which has a cut off time and it differs from cinema to cinema which is visible on the ‘Booking Summary’ page.

      I have booked 2 tickets for movie "has jhan pagli fas jabe" on 19 july 2019 at 3.20 pm for 5.00 pm show for the same date at mathur cineplex, dalli rajhara via paytm linked to my icici bank. After completion of transaction, i didn't received any ticket confirmation on my mail and phone. When i checked my bank statement, amount of rs 242.12 was deducted and i didnt get my tickets. Plz sove my problem asap.

        Bookmyshow an online movie ticket booking company is charging an extra amount towards internet handling fee, depending on the tickets we book. These charges are unfair as per the rbi rule, i question the govt using this platform that when there is a rule, why these business people are not following? Why the govt and people are not concerned about this? On top of it why consumer should go to court to sort this out?

        I am hoping this will be sorted out quickly.

          My show of the movie spiderman far from home was scheduled on 4th july, 2019 at 11:40 a. M. At inox gardens galleria mall, raibarelly road, lucknow.
          The employees of inox told us that due to malfunction of air conditioner of hall, the show has been cancelled. They also told us to contact bookmyshow.

            voucher code not working

            From the last few days every time i'm trying to book a movie ticket with the voucher i have it's showing the offer you're trying to avail doesn't exist or has expired..!! It's fake site which is luring customers with vouchers and once you have bought those voucher's it doesn't let you use them for it's own i've been facing this issue for quite a long time from the moment i have that voucher it's showing the same thing i don't know what to...

            My booking id is wq3k53h
            I booked a ticket for spiderman ffh on july 5th, the offer on payment for amazon pay was min 30 rs on 150 rs that means 20%.
            But when payment was done of 262, i received only 31!!
            Why the refund was less? Also if there was some rng here, this was not mentioned on coupon as well as this 'luck' factor on refund should be mentioned.
            Kindly resolve my issue. I am literally fuming as i have extensively used bms in delhi but was always satisfied but if this is some kind of foolmockery, i need my compensation and rectifications.
            Please resolve my issue asap as this year there are some great movies coming and if this is to happen again and again, i have to look somewhere else.

                I purchased two tickets of from bookmyshow.. I paid using google pay upi and rupees 247.96 has been deducted from my account.. But i did not receive any confirmation mail or sms.. I booked the tickets for carnival premier plaza cinemas in chinchwad the show being at 12:45 pm.. This is really not expected.. I want my money back or the ticket confirmation immediately.. Also seats i booked are showing as not occupied now.. Then why shouldn't i receive the confirmation?

                      On 21st april 2019, 3 transactions were made from my bms account and e-mails were sent to me of purchase of 9 gift cards worth 18000, 1 gift card worth 1000 and 1 more gift card worth 212 rs and a thus a total of 19, 212 rs was deducted from my amazon pay.
                      The timing of the transactions are 10:44, 10:45, 10:46 am. (Based on received email timings)
                      I have not done these transactions neither have i authorized these transactions.
                      I do not have any gift card in my bms account. I did not receive any sms of the purchase of the gift card, just those three emails. Also, i did not receive any otp to authorize the debit from amazon pay. I did not receive any sms or email from amazon pay that a debit transaction of such and such amount has happened.

                      Request you bms to look into this matter and to refund my full money as this seems to be fraud from bms side.

                        I booked my ticket through bookmyshow portal for mib international on june 15, saturday2019 afternoon 2:15 show. In interval i ordered couples combo for snacks invoice number is :107900 as soon as i got my snacks i went to screen 3 seats number d12, d13 instantly before entering screen 3 the movie started 5mins before. I was shocked. I have talked with my lawyer. I[censored] didnt give any reply regarding fun mall issue. Im gonna sue you and it would be 50lakhs suite or above.

                          I was trying to book 6 tickets to the malayalam movie "VIRUS" and used freecharge as the payment medium. The amount was charged at Rs.815 and was confirmed paid by the freecharge team. At the last page of the booking, bookmyshow just redirected back to my home page and nothing shows up on the transaction history or booking history. When i called bookmyshow they said they have not recieved the amount from freecharge.

                          I am attaching a screenshot confirming the payment from the freecharge app.

                              I booked a ticket on bookmyshow on 12th may. 5 tickets for avengers on 12th may. I was told that the transaction failed so i made a revoking and paid from a different account this time. However my previous amount was deducted too and its been more than 25 days i am chasing them for a refund. They keep saying 2-3 days every now and then and do not assist in any further way.

                              The show was cancelled by Garuda mall Inox, for reasons known to best to them.
                              The incharge is refusing to reimburse the money paid for the movie and the extra charges paid towards booking charges.
                              This is a sad matter with intent to cheat.

                              Hi,
                              As per the guidelines by RBI in March 2019, Internet handling fee is supposed to be exempted while booking online movie tickets. But I can see Rs 103/- to be charged here on bookmyshow platform while I am booking the tickets for Kabir Khan movie.

                                I have booked 4 tickets for rajathi raja illayaraja concert at coimbatore today. The amount got debited during the purchase of ticket but there is no confirmation from book my show for the purchase of the tickets booked, i have selected 500 rs ticket for 4 people, 2000 rs got debited from my account but purchase of the ticket by mail not received
                                Could you please help me of resolving the issue by sending the confirmation ticket to my registered mail id and phone number

                                Sorry for the trouble. Ideally, for an unsuccessful transaction the amount gets refunded within 4-5 working days, some banks may take 10 working days. Also, if you have used a wallet it will reflect within 24 hours.

                                Unfortunately any decision on allowing cancellation of show tickets is taken by the cinemas/multiplexes that hold the inventory and not BookMyShow, which is a ticketing aggregator alone. Hence, we are unable to provide you a refund for this transaction.

                                  I have booked tickets online so many times. But the internet handling charges for different movie shows are different, likewise these charges for normal movies are less than that of blockbuster movies. Kindly fix a amount for internet handling!!!
                                  What is the use of booking tickets online if we are using our internet and you are deducting 50 to 70 rupees for 2 tickets??? Moreover it's the cinema houses who have to pay for the mdr (Merchant discount rate), but instead they pass these charges to the consumers which is illegal according to the new rbi rules.
