I purchased sunburn tickets for Goa, they changed the venue so i requested for refund. on 17th November they said they have started the refund process and still i have not received anything. when i called their Customer care executive he said refund has been made. when i asked for the transaction id he did not even provided me that so that i can check with my bank. 15700 Rupees is lot of amount for people like me. i dont know what should i do now.

    Today I faced the problem twice. The same thing happened twice in a day. Twice I booked tickets for movie money was debited and tickets was not conformed. Govt was forcing us to use online transactions but these companies was not able to support us. Plz take some necessary action. Thanking you

      After I had booked ticket through book my show by paying extra Rs.69 as service charge, at theatre I was asked show the SMS at counter and collect another ticket what [censored] is that. By paying extra service charge and I am again asked to stand in the queue. Then why should book ticket with extra cost.

        I had booked a movie ticket through bookmyshow app via freecharge wallet. The amount is debited from account but tickets aren't booked yet. Dint get any confirmation msg nor in the app.
        I have not yet received the refund nor Any kind of msg from the site. Do look into this situation as early as possible.

          I saved few seats on bookmyshow and later booked (confirmed) the tickets by paying online through netbanking (state bank of mysore).
          But after i paid the amount, the page did not redirect back to the bookmyshow website, instead showed that the page cannot be reached. I even received SMS from the bank that the amount (451) has been deducted, but the tickets haven't got confirmed yet, which is still showing "pay online to confirm tickets".

              Hi,

              I have booked a ticket and applied 50% ICICI offer and in payment page total amount will be pay showing as 235 but when i did the transaction, 366 amount is debited from my account.

              And i have proof of three different payments for the same transaction i got.
              One i got in bookmyshow app in my transaction that is of 190 Rs. And other two i got in mail as 335 and 366.

              Such a fraud company due to there technical glich they are saying that your coupon is not applied so i want to know that why i am getting different slips for payment.

              I raised i complain also Incident id- [#2807573] but still they are not serious about it. Third class customer support and a fraud company who just want money. When i called and told them i need refund, they told me we will forward your request. After waiting so long no response i got.

              Bookmyshow just wait so that customer will automatically forget about there money so that they will earn and they dont need to refund.

              I am attaching all the payment slips for the same booking id.

              Please raised my issue further or will case on these type of companies who just earn money by doing cheating with customers.

                The concern is bookmyshow running offer of 100 cahsback on min 400 transaction and this offer is valid from 25th nov, 2016 to 27th nov, 2016 but I could see this offer on checkout page on 24th november as well which misleaded me and I went on with transaction of 138 from ola money . Now cashback is not credited to me for this transaction . They are quoting that cashback can't be given as per tnc which is right but my concern is when the offer had to go live live from 25th how can make it live on 24 th and ticket which I have booked is booked on 24 th nov, 2016. I am attaching full snapshots which justify my point.

                  The website of BMS doesn't just changes all date and timing etc, even if you do anything other on their website It doesn't retain selected date if you go back to previous page, hence I instead of Sunday 27th show, I got Friday 25th show of dear zindagi booked.
                  They keep on insisting the terms and conditions every time. So it is only customer's fault that UI of website is not efficient of end user. Whatever you do you can't cancel, change or get refund not 1%.
                  Further the cinema changed it's timing from 1115 to 11.45 then again I called them that now problem is yours, if you are changing timing. then again they pointed some terms mentioned on website and told that you accepted so we can't do anything.
                  They are just using this inefficient website to generate some extra revenue, because even if a customer makes any mistake, they got all the amount. so cinema and BMS both have profits.

                    I booked a ticket with amount payable of rs. 107. i paid that amount with gift card voucher of rs. 250 . and i did not reveive any ticket but my balance of gift card was reducted but i thought it could be technical error so i visited their website and clicked on resend ticket and it showed i did not book any ticket and then i booked again with gift card's remaining balance and surprise it happens again my balance reducted and still no ticket if i can file a complaint in court i would against these fraudsters.

                      I bought three tickets thru bookmyshow for rs. 750 each for a stand-up comedy show at rain tree hotel, chennai, organized by evam theatre in september 2015.

                      It was mentioned on the email confirmation that rs, 500 would be redeemed out of each ticket.

                      I have been on email correspondence with customer care of bookmyshow on this issue for last one month. On 8 november, i received an email quote:

                      Request you to forward us the same so that we can have this checked at our level, so that i can check from our end and assist you better.

                      Since, online bookings are confirmed transactions, tickets once booked cannot be canceled, exchanged or refunded from our end.

                      Also, there is no provision wherein we can make any modification in show date, time, movie, seats etc which are already confirmed.

                      Keeping the cancellation norm in mind, it would have been an opportunity for customers to bring a smile on their dear one's face by gifting those tickets.

                          I am Ashiqur Rahma, I tried to book for four tickets tomorrow by using gmail id [protected]@gmail.com or mobile no [protected] November[protected] for ISL North east United FC vs FC Pune city which will play on 22 nov 2016. Suddenly my Debit card got charged for the amount of 1140 for four tickets and the entire amount was deducted as txn#[protected] . However the tickets didn't get confirmed due to transaction failure. .. I tried to book a ticket today on https://in.bookmyshow.com/mumbai., i.e. Saturday Nov 12, 2016 for a Marathi movie Vajandar at Cinemax Mira Road (E). Apparently my Debit Card got charged for the amount of 334.52 for two tickets and the entire amount was deducted; however the tickets didn't get confirmed due a transaction failure. Please refund me the entire amount as soon as possible.

                              But coupon is not valid . After continuously follow up through mail as well as on phone with bookmy show .                                 We being aggregators, post the transaction is successful, have zero authority for the said transaction.

                                We did get this investigated with our technical team and as per the updates received, there was no error on our website/app and bookings were going through swiftly hence, we would be unable to refund the said transaction.

                                In cases like these, you could opt to gift those tickets to your friends or somebody who'd want to go for that show on your behalf.

                                  I had booked 6 movcinesquareo to a movie called mukunda murari in Bangalore in a theatre called savitha cinesquare for show which was scheduled on 7 November 2016 but we will not be able to attend that due to some reasons when I made an attempt to cancel the show it is saying the show can't be cancelled. This is total cheating. I lost my 700 rupees on this please I request the bookmyshow people to resolve this issue.

                                  I had the same problem today. But case is slightly different. I want to go to the movie that I booked shut not for the date I booked it.

                                  I booked tickets today on their app to watch Thor with my friends. On my first attempt when I had selected date for a Saturday 11th, transaction got declined because of wrong card details. When I rebooked the tickets, the date defaulted to today
                                  apparently which is the 10th. No where in the booking process they ask explicitly to select or confirm the date.

                                  Now they are refusing to reschedule the tickets.

                                  This is a con act by this site. They should ask the customer to explicitly choose a date. What is the poi t of collecting convenience fee when they don't do such basic things during the booking process?

                                    I have booked ticket with ref no. wht9x72 for show at 2.55pm dated 2.11.16 we have surprised when at gate they have told this booked show is specially for ladies only. and they didn't allow us for show, they told only your wife can go even little two boy children can not allow
                                    I am very surprised as i never seen this type of option even at the time of booking i didn't get any option to opt.
                                    We are very upset from your these type of option, feels cheated.
                                    What can you do regarding this?
                                    We have harrashed a lot i hv told to executive to give some alternate option but they didn't.

                                      I had 2 bms vouchers. i used both of them to buy tickets (doctor strange) but then in the end it got cancelled itself due to connectivity issue. i didnt get the tickets. and when i try to apply the tickets toanother tickets of the same show it says. voucher balance got exhausted. please help fast. this is so strange that you have to pay for vouchers and they actually don't work.

                                      I have booked 7 tickets in cinepolis ahmedabad for Sunday 6.11.16, but, I came to cinepols, it has been noticed that tickets were wrongly booked for Saturday, 5.11.16.

                                        Unfortunately Money has been Deducted from my Account

                                        But the Show Tickets are not Confirmed

                                        I spoke to their Customer service Executive

                                        They said the money has been Refunded

                                        asked me to wait for 10 working days

                                        I have called them after working days
                                        for refund

                                        they have asked me to speak to the Bank with the Auth Code

                                        I did speak to the Bank and nothing is refunded from them.
