BookMyShow Customer Care's response Hi Hannumantha,
We at BookMyShow value you as a customer, but unnecessarily defaming us is not ethical. We have observed
that you called us on 4th Sept 2016 to cancel your tickets for 'Janatha Garage'(booking id:
SVLT00CB7XE7Z1) as you claimed to have booked those tickets in error.
We being ticketing aggregates, post the transaction is successful, have zero authority for the said transaction.
We did get this investigated with our technical team and as per the updates received, there was no error
on our website/app and bookings were going through swiftly hence, we would be unable to refund the said
transaction.
Since you couldn't get a resolution here, you emailed us on Monday 5th Sept 2016 and stated that the
ticket were denied at the cinema as the manager informed you that they are not tied up with
BookMyShow. We investigated the matter and found out that there was no such denial from the cinema
and called you at 8.08pm the same day (as the show was at 9.00 pm) to inform that everything was fine.
You expressed that you were busy and hung up the call.
We appreciate you taking the time off to contact us but when we tried to resolve the issue you weren't
ready to take the resolution.
