Hi,

I booked my tickets for wave kaushambi and get the tickets for RDC Wave ghaziabad. I called the customer care to change the location. Instead of complaining I said I am sorry but please change the location as we are standing on wave kaushambhi to see the movie on 15 may 16. But nothing happened. My booking ID is W3CPJJH.

Please refund my money as early as possible.

    I was trying to buy 2 tickets of acropolis mall kolkata, the website showed the location kolkata on top right, but when transaction was completed it showed tickets to be booked at acropolis mall ahmedabad. Now their customer care is saying my 907 rs cannot be refunded as they think i have selected ahmedabad show my self, and they have no refund/cancellation policy, which is nowhere mentioned in the homepage of the website. This is open and shut case of fraud in my opinion.

      I booked a ticket on 7th may for a movie on 8th may via bookmyshow app. The transaction was frozen and i tried to call there customer care but call was getting cancelled. I check in booking history there was no ticket on the app. As per bookmyshow a incomplete transaction will get refunded in 4-5 days.
      I called them on 14th may and they were not ready to accept the issue. They said the transaction on 7th may was complete and we have send the ticket to your "yahoo" email id. Which is incorrect, bookmyshow app takes my default gmail id (tested by booking a dummy ticket). How will a customer understand on which ID they are sending the ticket, when there system is flawed. The app dosen't show the booked ticket and they are not ready to accept this fact.

      Bookmyshow customer care executive are arrogant and have OCD to continuously say "bookmyshow app can never have a technical problem ". After a call of 1hr on 14th may, I understood they are not going to address this issue and refund my money. I hope consumercomplaints can help me solve this and make these frauds pay for there stupidity.

        I have already talked with bms customer care 10 days back and they replied we have lodged your complain and will get back your money.

          Fake movie tickets

          I booked the ticket for the movie baaghi on[protected], 7:45pm show for PVR Prashant Vihar, delhi
          But did not recieve any message or mail till half an hour so i spoke to the bookmyshow customer care, they told me that there is no booking on your mobile number. Then i booked another ticket online form PVR Prashant Vihar itself. When i was on my way to the movie hall i got a mail and a message 10 minutes after that from bookmyshow regarding the confirmation of the tickets. Now i entered the cinema hall around 8:00PM as i was already late and told the story to the person who checked the ticket telling that i have two tickets for 4 people each and we are not 8 people watching the movie.
          Then after the movie i discussed the whole scenario with Sanjay(Duty Manager, mob.[protected] so to confirm that only four people watched the movie.
          My bookmyshow ticket has not been scaned as i used my PVR Cinemas ticket.
          So kindly provide me the refund in the same account i paid with or else i have to carry this complaint to the next level.

            Dear sir,

            Our complaint no to bookmyshow 1885038

            I purchased four tickets from bookmyshow for show of baghi at jayanti rishra, hooghly (Wb) of show timing of 7pm on 30.04.2016. For our astonishment, when we reached there, it has been found that the cinema hall was closed and no show was going on.

            We could watch the movie.

            It was matter of great harassment for me and my family.

            Now after several phone calls and writing 6 emails to them, they are not responding. They are also not giving status of my refund.

            Please look into the matter and arrange refund of my money along with conveyance charges of rs.150.00 which we had to bear on account of going to hall.

            Please arrange to do the needful urgently.

              This is husna. I had given a complaint before this for my refunding money of around rs. 1300/- for cancellation of movie tickets due to technical reason in bangalore at fun cinemas in cunnigham Road booking was for 13th April for the movie JUNGLE BOOK
              one o[censored]r employees from book my show by name RAGHU had emailed me and asked my phone number n I then replied my number the next day I got a call from Delhi saying it was from book my show his name was sandeep jain n his ID is 10205060 had called me regarding this for money refund and asked me my card details as he said that he wasn't able to transfer money to state bank account later he Said there was some error in refunding so he asked me to give another card number which has more than 10, 000 in it I then gave my sister's card number which had 11, 000 n change n later v realised that he has remove all of the amount from both the card numbers.
              I sincerely request the authorities to clarify this cheating or else I shall give a complaint directly in the consumer court.

              I was trying to book a ticket for a movie bit suddenly an error occurred which said try again later...but when I checked my account balance money was actually deducted but I didn't get confirmation of that seat...
              After an hour I saw again in book my show app that seat was available again but I lost my money unnecessarily
              Sir i have done payment for couple of movie tickets by paytm wallet.but i have not got any message or mail regarding that .i continously try to make contact with their customer care and i get no response fron their side.customer care no is not working .
              i want my movie tickets till 8 am tommorow because my show timing is 9:30 am.

                  On 07.05.2016 book my show on 08.05.2016 Sunday afternoon show confirmation message are not received and try to contact bookmyshow helpline there is no response and some numbers are till busy what should I do now? And already try in boolmyshow app its not showing my last booking detail now go & fight with theatre manager & put a case in high court against bookmyshow or trying to catch boommyshow helpline?                     I was trying to book the ticket in book my show from last one hour and was getting message to try later...I got my money deducted twice with message that transaction failed and finally i gave up and tried to book from different site..i didnt get any email or msg saying that ticket was confirmed so I booked from different site..Book my show website is still not showing any transaction however checked my BMS app and saw that ticket was confirmed..call BMS customer care they are responding to ask friends and family which is not acceptable and at the end I got answer stating that they have escalated further and will be responding after 48 hrs...I want my refund
                    I was using gift voucher code; amount redeemed but because of bad connection I couldn't able to complete the transaction and now the code has been exhausted when I am trying to book it again with the code.
                    I had booked two tickets to Batman vs superman movie on March 26th at urvashi cinemas Bengaluru for 2.30pm show. Transaction was done and recieved message about money being deducted it was 434 rs. But no M-ticket was recieved.please look into this matter.

                        I am rashmi singhal. I booked 3 tickets on the online booking portal of bookmyshow.com on 7 may 2016 at around 3:10 pm of movie "traffic" for pvr udaipur. After selecting seats and entering my account details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'oops, an error occurred'.

                        But an amount of rs. 671.70/- was debited from my account.
                        I tried to contact bookmyshow helpline but it didn't respond. I did receive a sms from idbi bank for deduction of money.

                        So, basically money for my transaction should be refunded by bookmyshow as it didn't handle the transaction properly and deducted amount without booking the seats.

                        I contacted the on-line customer care executives also but they also just say that we will contact you as soon as possible but then there is no reply/respose.

                        I request a refund of rs 671.70/- from bookmyshow.

I got a message from my bank saying that an amount of rs.1288.89 has been deducted, however on the book my show app page it said that the transaction has failed.                                 I booked tickets with bookmyshow using freecharge and on freecharge it's showing successful with amount deducted in an smount of Rs. 611.6. However I received msg from bookmyshow that your payment for tickets failed. Kindly find screenshot for your reference.

                                I sent emails to bookmyshow yesterday night when I booked the tickets and even in afternoon 2-3 times but they are not responding anything or taking any action. I received only single mail from bookmyshow that they will send the status of transaction via sms by 10 am today but I have not received any sms till now. Seems like they don't want to give money back.

                                Please look into the matter and take strict action against this company. I read many same type of complaints on this site.
