Dear sir,
Our complaint no to bookmyshow 1885038
I purchased four tickets from bookmyshow for show of baghi at jayanti rishra, hooghly (Wb) of show timing of 7pm on 30.04.2016. For our astonishment, when we reached there, it has been found that the cinema hall was closed and no show was going on.
We could watch the movie.
It was matter of great harassment for me and my family.
Now after several phone calls and writing 6 emails to them, they are not responding. They are also not giving status of my refund.
Please look into the matter and arrange refund of my money along with conveyance charges of rs.150.00 which we had to bear on account of going to hall.
Please arrange to do the needful urgently.

Unfortunately, when a booking is confirmed on our website, the seats are reserved at the cinema and are deemed sold.
Since, online bookings are confirmed transactions, tickets once booked cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded from our end.
Also, there is no provision wherein we can make any modification in show date, time, movie, seats etc which are already confirmed.
Keeping the cancellation norm in mind, it would have been an opportunity for customers to bring a smile on their dear one's face by gifting those tickets.
