Got spoofed while booking movie ticket online using my ICICI Bank Debit card
I booked a movie ticket from www.bookmyshow.com at around 4.00pm on 25th
of Dec 2009. But i didn't received any message in my mobile or email account provided. The amount has been deducted from my ICICI bank account with description <BIL[protected]>INDIAIDEAS.COM LTD/BOOK. I wrote to [protected]@bookmyshow.com twice but no reply. I tried to contact bookmyshow on their contact no but line is always busy

I have tried to book the tickets online but an error -27006 is occuring.What to do to book the tickets.
I tried to book for a Saturday show, and tried to avail the offer for VISA SIGNATURE card. However I got the attached error message. Ridiculous, isn't it ??
Sorry, I am not able to upload the screen shot of the error message. It reads "-4011-This offer is valid only for shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday".

I also tried to avail Visa Signature debit card's buy 1 and get 1 offer, getting the same error. "-4011-This offer is valid only for shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday".

It seems like ICICI and BookMyShow fooling the customers by presenting these OFFERS.

    Money deducted but tickets not received

    This is my worst experience with Book My Show Web site on Christmas (25th Dec, 09). I have booked tickets for IMAX 3D movie for Jan 2nd. My 433 rupees money was deducted from HDFC bank account, but no confirmation about the tickets were received.

    I am trying to call them on the number[protected]their contact number), but that number is not working. I have send an email to their customer support, but did not received any reply....

    This is with reference to my online booking on bookmyshow for which my money was debited from my account twice for the same ticket at megharaj on 27th december vashi for 3 at 1.30 p.m. I did not receive any sms from bookmyshow neither i got any mail. After making several attempts to get through your customer executive i could not get through any calls cause the waiting period keeps of changing from 23 minutes to 48. This has been horrible for me as i have already made calls upto 200 Rs tried mailing them there is no response.Appretiate if some one looks into this matter

      All those looking for convenience of booking tickets online, please beware !!
      BookMyShow is the most 3rd grade site - with fraud payment systems and worst after sales service.
      My bad experience started with my desire to watch the movie "3 " in City Pride Cinema, Kothrud , Pune.

      Hence, I booked my movie tickets as per details below.



      Movie : 3

      Cinema : City Pride , Kothrud, Pune

      Show Date: 27th December 2009

      Show time: 2000 hours

      Seat numbers booked: Row C – Seat numbers 7,8,9

      Booking Date: 25th December 2009

      Booking Time:[protected] hours

      Total number of tickets booked: 3

      Payment channel: ICICI Netbanking



      The booking process happened normally till the payment was made.

      And then I got the error message below:


      " Technical Error: -24001

      Somethings not right here. Chances are we are already on it trying to fix it. In the meantime you could try again or try calling 39895050 or if the problem persists please write to us at [protected]@bookmyshow.com and inform us about the issue."
      The money has been deducted from my ICICI Bank account, but I have not got the tickets.

      Some key learning’s from this experience:
      1. Payment processing is very very fast to take money from your bank account.
      2. You never get your tickets.
      3. Call center and emails dont work at all !!
      4. Their Mumbai office number has only 1 office boy[protected]


      Overall, its very big "Screw My Show" for the customer !!!

      Better to go directly to the cinema and get real tickets for real money.

      Please avoid getting cheated like me !!

      I've faced the same situation same day. If only I can copy-paste what you've typed above. I am thinking of taking legal action against this site now. Its fraud!

        Yesterday, I had booked tickets for 3- in Kulraj (borivli-
        east) for 26th December and for show time 10.30 p.m.
        An amount of 522.14 has also been debited from my account.

        However due to technical errors
        the order was not completely processed and I have not received the
        confirmation of tickets. Their call centre is also not accessible, they give a waiting period of 30 mins then 19 mins then 45-60 mins.... which is ridiculous. I have also put an email to their helpdesk, but there is no reply.

        Kindly take strict action so as to get the proper refund and for the trouble caused by the company.

        Dear Sir,
        I had booked tickets for 3- in Chandan(Vadodara) for 26th December and for show time 9.30 p.m.
        An amount of 409.64 has also been debited from my account.

        However due to technical errors
        the order was not completely processed and I have not received the
        confirmation of tickets. Their call centre is also not accessible, they give a waiting period of 19 mins then 45-60 mins. I have also put an email to HDFCBANK they told (payment done through Direct Pay to the Merchant / Service provider, The only role of HDFC Bank is in facilitating the payment)

          I had booked two tickets for on 25th december'2009, 10.50 am of 3 for Shipra mall gzb show via book my show. The amount has been withdrawn from my account. but i did not receive any confirmation of the transaction, neither were the tickets booked. I would like to file a complaint against the same and want my money...

            I have booked 3 tickets for movie "3 " on 25th december 2009 around 4.30 pm for 6.30 pm show for the same date at inox banipark, jaipur through icici net banking, after completion of transaction i didn't received any ticket confirmation on my mail and phone. When i checked my bank statement, amount of rs 409.16 was deducted and i didnt get my tickets. Plz sove my problem asap.

            I have booked three IPL tickets (match date 11/04/2010). I have not received tickets. Book my show is a fake site. Please do not use it. It deducts money from your account, after that they do no send any tickets, even they do not responce any query. My advise is please block this site. Everything is fake in this site.

            i booked tickets for Aisha at ESquare through BookMyShow on 7th August 2010. Amidst all possible technical errors that their website threw, they deducted money from my account and did not even book the tickets.             we have booked tkts for once upon a time in mumbai at inox [pune]today 15/08/2010 at 5.15. the transaction was not completed so we have not recieved the pin no but my credit card has been debited with the amt,kindly either confirm booking or help us
            the book my show is playing through Customers. Even i booked the ticket of dabang on 7th sept and it was confirmed . next day i got a message from book my show that my payment was declined by the bank and my ticket was cancelled . but when i checked my account amount was debited from my account and i got no tickets.. i think they are playing they if some one will ask for refund then they will delay and after some time the customer will be tired of calling again and again and will spend more than the ticket money and automatically he will stop to ask them thinking it is a donation for them... they are cheating the people so online users be careful ..

            You see, cunningly intelligent ways of earning maoney. Carry on the transaction, deduct cash, don't give a ticket and ultimately slam 'we will refund your money'.
            Guess you people fail to realise that cheating for peanuts eventually leads to loss of customers.

            Book My Show / Mahindra Retail — IPL Merchandise

            I have ordered for IPL-Mumbai Indians merchandise worth Rs.1000/- from book my show-Merchandise booking on 11th April 2011.
            The order was supposed to be delivered in 24 hours , it has been 9 days today.
            When I call the customer care , they say that the manufactures have not dispatched the order yet. Now this is Unbelievable !!
            I also spoke to them telling them that i wouldn't want the order to reach me after the Mumbai Indians matches are over, but they say that they are not sure of when it would reach.

            My only wish and request is to get the stuff delivered right away or else, refund my money back.

            This is my second email sent to you as i have still not received the delivery of my package which order was placed on 8th April 2011 for 4 jerseys of Mumbai Indians. Today is 25th April 2011 and still I have not yet got the package. When i had called your customer support department on Friday 22nd April 2011 and was informed by a Team Lead in your process that the parcel has been dispatched and I shall receive it by Monday i.e. 25th April 2011. I had called up today morning to confirm about the delivery and i was informed that it would be delivered before 8pm today. I again called back by 4 pm to check on the delivery and I was again misinformed by Nivedita that the jersey is out of stock where as I was informed by the same person that the jerseys have been dispatched on Friday. On further checking it was found that the delivery has been sent to the wrong address in Vikhroli where as the address for delivery was Andheri (West). The Aramex Tracking Number is XXXXXXXXXX . After this I had a conversation with, a Supervisor who was of no help at all. He has promised me a money back within 2 working days as this has been a pathetic display of customer service and logistics.

            I shall make sure that i would let as many people know about the pathetic service that you are as it has taken more then 19 days for a simple delivery which can be delivered faster even by a domestic courier service in Mumbai.

            I hope to get a revert and a credit back in my account within 2 working days as promised.

            This is the most pathetic service ever ... There customer service sucks ... and there delivery is even more pathetic

            Hi, I ordered being human t shirt before one month, still didn't receive the delivery. The payment was deducted instantly from my credit card.

            From few days I am not able to book the tickets using bookmyshow.and also not able to avail the benefits on bookmyshow site as wheneverw e book the tickets transaction is happening but ticket is not getting booked.             I ve paid money Rs. 2375 through my AXIS Bank Debit Card. They have deducted money from my bank account & I even got a confirmation about movie tickets which I took a print .
            I went to fame cinema with my family . When i produce the ticket to the ticket counter they told me that the ticket was not confirmed. I talked to their Cinema manager he confirmed me they didn't got any confirmation regarding my tickets booking from bookmyshow.com . Even they swipe out my debit card on their machine to check and he confirmed me that no balance has been deducted from my ACCOUNT & I've also called your no [protected] consistently to talk there customer care but no one picked my calls. i returned with my family.
            For some official work I went outstation. After I came back I found that the Amount has been deducted from my account.I expect you to refund back the money to my account.

            They have offered buy one get one ticket for Master debit card and it is one time offer for Master Card. I avail that offer and book tickets and the transaction was unsuccessful and when i try to book again the offer is not coming up they are arguing that it is one time offer and so you cant avail that for the second time they are taking count of the unsuccessful transaction too this is ridiculous

            I booked my tickets for an event on bookmyshow.com on 10th. i got the confirmation, the transaction happened from my account. and today on the 13th i recieve a call saying my ticket has been cancelled cos the layout was incorrect plus the bookings have been closed.
            its not a matter of the money (which they anyway have to refund me), its the matter that my closed ones will miss the show in which i am performing.

            its not that i have never booked tickets online on bms before, but this time it is highly unprofessional.
            there should be a legal action against it.
            it is violation of consumer rules.
            the ticket it self states that there would me no cancellation or refund then how can they do this ? pls explain this to me

            I booked 3 tickets using bookmyshow and make payment through Gift Voucher. However, transaction failed but amount got deducted from my Gift Voucher. I called Customer care to be told that Gift Voucher money would be refunded back after 4 hours but it didn't. I called on Customer care number to confirm about failed transaction and they told me to keep phone on hold and disconnected my phone. Then I called back on Customer Care and concerned person told me that he will call me back in 15 min to update on status, again that never happened. I had to call customer care again and was informed that technical team is facing some issues and we cannot tell how much more time will it take. I am fed up with this kind of poor service. If you have SLA of 4 hours, why do you want customer to wait longer and bear with your poor servicing and technical team.
            When ever I try booking movie tickets through my ICICI coral credit card it show "
            Sorry, we can`t proceed with the booking for this offer since the Total Number of Tickets for Today has been exhausted OR You may have applied it to an ongoing transaction which is not yet cancelled. Please try again after 20 mins. For any queries please write to us at [protected]@bookmyshow.com. (#-4011)"

            I mean why would then the credit card companies offer these kind of facilities when you guys are failing to cater. This is very disappointing if it shows on every attempt.

            I want to understand why this happens? if it is technical glitch then please resolve this ASAP if not then this should be escalated to the top management of "BOOK MY SHOW".

            If you guys are ignoring this mail then I'll proactively write to the management (Mr. Ashish Hemrajani) of Book My Show.

            Worst experience opted for home delivery of match tickets but it was not delivered and when i went to there box office i received my tickets after reaching home when i saw the tickets inside the packaging i was shocked to find tickets of other id.             Hi had booked 11 tickets from Book My Show for Bahubali movie from 9.30 to 12.30. I did my online payment transaction through ICICI netbanking. Money got deducted immediately. The booking was done at 1.30 in the afternoon.At 8.30PM i get a message from Book My Show that the amount is processed for refund and only one ticked is confirmed. On talking to the customer care i get a reply from them that we couldnt book tickets due to some internal error. I want to know what the heck is this and what right do they hav to spoil someones special day.

            My complain is that if there is not any proper arrangement and proper treartment in the theaters then why do you provide online service to these tethers Rajvilas Talkies, Nagpur is one of them. This is one of the worest Talkies in Nagpur having no proper arrangement for those who book the tickets online.

            I was having any idea of this theater and wanted to wetch movie so check availability and booked 5 tickets online. As I reached to this theater its quite dirty and when I asked for the tickets by showing the printouts he refused to give me tickets and allowed me to go upstairs and seat in the Bolcony. I went upstairs for seating but it was already full. When I asked for the reason he replied that " Online tickets q nikala " this was very embarrising language he used to me. It was my first exprenced I ever faced.

            I asked to return my money against booked ticket. He only returned me the ticketing amount but not the amount which was mentioned on the prinout.

            Pathetic service, I booked a ticket and somehow a wrong theatre got selected. As soon as I received the confirmation mail, I called their helpline and tried to explain the situation to them. After 20 long minutes and recursive communication with like three employee levels, I just got an iterative response for changing the theatre. '' Sir, we understand how you feel''. One wonders, if you really understand how we feel, then you would do something to make the consumer feel better about your services. Poor app, worst complaint handling ever. Please refrain from using this app.

            I have booked three tickets on 26 apr, i have been charged twice .
            I have called to the executives, they have given worst response. This is the refund of Rs. 214 and i have spended about Rs 50 in calls . still waiting for refund.
            If they will refund the amount then who is going to refund the calling charges.

            Guys Just so that we have better clarity on Book my show's definition of Black Marketing...they are more creative on phone then on print!!
            If a customer is cancelling a ticket and book my show lets the customer do it, that would imply that their software system would have to intimate the cinema hall for release of the tickets. Now if the released tickets are again re-issued to another customer through their portal, then as per book my show, it would come under definition of black marketing!!! So to avoid being caught into the '100 ka 2' moment, they do not make any provisioning for correction in tickets for human errors while booking tickets!!

            Hope there are clearer rules and better explanation to handle these instead of brushing aside with logic of 'government policy hain

            I booked a ticket for X-MEN APOCALYPSE .money was withdrawn from my SBI account ticket got booked and a booking id -ADTA[protected] WAS SENT TO ME .When i entered the code it got rejected. i checked the mail but than wow...there was no email sent to me on "[protected]@gmail.com"
            i completely lost my money.

            please do something.
            They have become arrogant and do not listen to customers. Look for alternatives and they will be on floor.

              I had booked 5 tickets for 3 show tommorow at Spice Cinema,Noida.the amount 730/- has been debited from the account but the details have not been recieved.


              i have called their toll free number atleast 25 times..Customer care disconnected call on listening to the problem,No action has been taken by helpdesk team even after reminder mails being sent.

              I think deducting amount and not getting services is illegal on part of the company.

              there was a offer running on this above website stating if i buy four movie tickets i only pay for two. this was on friday 08/08/08. however teh entire ammount was charged on my card and on calling them and being on hold for 25 minutes i was told that i did not go through teh offer link ***how convinient. on asking for teh manager for 8-10 times i was denied teh manager saying that there is no manager and that i should just forget about teh money. after forcing them and screaming for 5 mins i get an email address where i raise my complaint and get a respond on monday stating that i never went through teh link and im not eligible. if tehre was a offer running and i did buy 4 tickets then why shoul i be not eleigible and told that tehy cannot cancel my trasaction nor will ther refund my money is this what credit card law states do we not have right to cancel an order once made?

The amount 1000 has been deducted from my account and I have not received any confirmation about the tickets. I am trying the Bookmyshow customer care number since yesterday but noone is picking the phone and i have mailed also but no response.

              My Ref No. BOOKM4903083 and BOOKM4902737. I have never seen such irr-reponsible behaviour.

                I tried booking 2 Gold Class movie tickets of "3 " for today,
                i.e; 25/12/09 through "bookmyshow.com" at Cinemax in Manisquare,
                Kolkata with my HDFC bank net banking service an amount of Rs 533.09.
                However after payment has been made and the amount deducted from my
                account, I am getting a "Technica Error-24001" message and the seats
                has not been booked.
                I have an sms from HDFC stating that the amountof Rs 533.09/- has
                been deducted from my account. Print screen attached of the HDFC net
                banking transaction where it is clearly shown that the amount has been
                debited from my account towards "bookmyshow".
                Transaction # MHDF[protected].
                Cheque/Ref # [protected].
                But they never refund my amount

                Hence request the India Consumer complaint Forum to take a strick action against the company as they practicaly cheating people money. It should be stop so that on more person lost there money

                Premium Club has debited amount Rs 9899-16 from my ICICI Credit Card for membership of the Club. On 27 [September 09 ] unfortunately my husband was convinced that it was call for new Creditcard, So he informed all the details of the creditcard and Premium club group has debited the amount for the membership without my Knowledge.

                I'm not interested in any kind of Club offers and I request you to refund the debited amount from my Creditcard as soon as possible.

                I too have encountered a similar problem today, when booking tickets for 3- from bookmyshow.com for 26th dec'09. My amount has been debited for 3-tickets .However due to technical errors the order was not completely processed and I have not receive the tickets. I have been calling them but their phone line gives a waiting period of 49-50 mins. which is ridiculous.I have also but an email to their helpdesk, but have not received a reply. I hope some strict action is taken to get back the refund, as i have already read 2 other complaints for today.
                well a similar case has happned with me which is still being dragged over by then..i boought avatar tickets for fun republik, Andheri on the 22nd dec, and the same error came for me too..where as my bank reciept and transaction shows a successfull debit of Rs 441, but book my show very nicely said oh there was a failure..post then i triedcallling them up on there help line which by the way is no help..you have to go to the option where they say for home delievery you will have to talk to our custome careexecutive so please hold on the line...the funny thing is that even if you wait for an hour over the phone for their fault the line that keeps getting repeated is "that your total hold time is 2 miutes"..after holding the line for over an hour the customer rep does come on line but he has no cluse as to why a failure like this has happened or when do they plan to solve it or even what is the procedure if no action is taken in few days...after arguing with the guy and explaining how harrasing the procedure is( to which he is not reallly concerned) the only thing he tells me is that i will also have to write a mail to their help desk regarding this problem..and he is also certain the entire problem lies with my bank..and they are not at fault by any means..any hw in my frustaration i even do that..since i dont know what else can i do..i write them a mail explaining my problemto which a day later i recieve a mail saying that they are sorry but they are not at fault and the bank should be returning my money in another 3-4 working days..and they are not holding my money..a week later..with no response from their side or even a call as to we are trying to solve your problem..i again aprroach them..this time again they have no clue as to when i am being refunded they again think its not their fault..actually they dont have any clues of their owb system .they further ask me to send a scanned copy of my account statement which states a transaction like this has happened when i say why cant they access their records since they should be keepin a copy of all transactions they are cluless since in my first mail itself i had mentioned my transaction details..well adding to my security lapse..with no trust left in them i still confirming with my bank send them my statement to which a week laterthey reply askin me for my statement..well i am completely frustrated of their looting businness and their harrasing services..and they surely are making use of net banking being still a not very safe, and explored medium in india and they really think all indians are uneducated and can be easily taken for a ride, i actually think they should not allowed to run cheat site like that and alll the customers should compensated for their time, money, and mental harrasment.

                i have a bigger fiasco with book my show

                1. In August 2011 the ticket for the 1st indian formula 1 race was booked for around less than Rs.7000 Rs. They assured big things in their web site and among other things they assured that they will get the tickets delivered by september 2011.

                2. The end of september was coming and on 23rd september i checked the site, it said " your ticket dispatched"

                3. Every time i call them, a stupid call centre employee ( i call stupid because, because he says the same thing again and again without even attempting to answer/redress the complaint, probably they are trained to be stupid, so that the company can escape from the customers), goes round and round and buys from me two more days of time. "you will get the tickets this, Thursday, and so on

                4.One executive says that they have dispatched throu EXPRESS IT COURIER ( dear courier co, watch if you are part of the scam scheme), but refuses to give consignment no.

                5.On pursuiing further, through rough, tough, sometime abusive talk, scolding talk, the call centre attendant says that they have not yet dispatched it yet.
                6. I am sure they are selling tickets in black market at a much higher price and thus depriving genuine buyers.

                7. I am sure the F1 organisation may not know this, which i will pursue to get them a delisted.

                8. I am also sure that they will deliver the tickets after the F1 race is over

                lessons learnt

                1. book my show bookings means you are booking your last show of your life

                2. Never trust onlin net booking, since neither RBI, nor Govt monitors them at all

                BookMyShow — non refund of payback points

                Booking failure date : Jan 5 2014 INCIDENT ID [Incident:[protected]] Till date payback points not returned. As per T&amp;C 30 days is max limit for resolution of queries. Poor customer care at[protected] who are ill equipped to deal with this,

                  I recieved a Rs 100 festive coupon from BIGFLIX to get a Rs100 discount on online booking at BOOKMYSHOW.COM
                  'Its a BOOKMYSHOW.COM coupon BUT on booking and using the 16digit winpin code
                  online it gave me only Rs50 . The 100Rs off coupon is good for Rs50?
                  I am sure if i call them they will give me some story but my time is more than worth arguing for Rs50 so instead I posted here .

                    I'm Abhishek Tiwari, had booked a ticket for paa for 11 am 6th dec on book my show through booking id srgp[protected]. The person at counter (nilesh) denied to give the tickets and asked for payment. When told that payment has been made through net banking he asked to produce card. I made a complaint to book my show customer care exe. ALBERT from cinema. When Albert tried to speak to the person at counter he denied.Since I was not given the tickets I requested them to refund my money I have written to book my show for refund and they have registered my complaint throgh ticket id 177534. But there is no responce for last 4 days when contacted their customer care on 10/12/2009 the executive is saying that they have forwarded the complaint to the cinema authorities and waiting for responce but are not offering any solution.
                    Request you to help me get my hard earned money back.

                    I am Ashim Saha from Kolkata I booked 2 tickets for Raajneeti on 6/6/2010 at 5:45 PM in CINE MAX: MAIN SQUARE. I had using my Net banking through my Debit card for booking the movie ticket on 06/06/10. But at the point of time booking ticket there is a system error on Bookmyshow.com. Then I had tried another time and the booking confirmation is confirmed on my mobile & mail (Ref No. [protected]) is confirmed.
                    After the booking I had used me Phone banking to check my available balance in my A/C. Then I realize when the system is error on Bookmyshow.com the tickets was booked & amount was debited (Rs. 413.09). Kotak bank informs me I had made the transaction (Ref No. [protected]). But I don’t need these tickets because I had also done my booking after the error. My new booking reference no is [protected].

                    So kindly relies thou itckets. Also I had complain on Kotak Mahindra Phone banking regarding this (Complain No:[protected], dated: 02/06/10), for stop payment. Please cancel this transition & credit the above mention amount.

                      I had booked 3 tickets for the movie London Dreams (U/A) Urvashi Cinema (Single Screen)Bangalore, for the show on 1st November 2009 from the net on Bookmyshow.com.Booking Id: URBL[protected],Confirmation No: 292524.

                      This show was cancelled and the ticket price was to be refunded to my bank account.I have sent 2 emails in the last 4 days and there has been no response from the Bookmy show team nor the amount has been credited back to my bank account.

                      I suppose this is serious offence from the the URL owner of bookmyshow and completely ridiculous.

                      Please let em know if you can take this forward.

                      I booked 4 IPL tickets of Rs. 5000 each through the bookmyshow call centre. The knowledge of the executives is pathetic. They have made me go to the stadium twice as they are not aware that tickets are available only 4 days in advance. To this date (22.03.2010), I do not have the tickets for the match scheduled on 25.03.2010. Moreover, I have no update on when I can get my tickets. The response times are sad and so is the attitude of the personnel.

                      This is the worst service experience I have ever had in my life.
                      Same case is happened with me also,

                      i booked 3 tickets of Delhi Belly(CSM Noida). but while booking it was showing some technical error. its actually like my tickets didnt get booked, i again booked my tickets with other account and this tym its gets succesfully booked. but unfortunately they deduct money from my both the account!!!

                      after mailing and calling the they were like ll finding the cause and its being 1 month i dint get any of refund any any favor from there side. they are actually cheaters. we should take them to consumer court.
                      I agree to this. A technical glitch o[censored]nable to handle multiple browser ended up me getting confirmation to a wrong movie. even though I asked for resolution for half an hour nothing worked out. most ridiculous customer support. They are only interested in doing business at cost of their customer.
                      BMS was my worst experience for customer support.

                        I had purchased two tickets using bookmyshow online facility using CITI bank credit card on 26/09/2009 for the movie "What's Your Rashee" for the location Big Cinema's-Kalyani Nagar Pune. Even though for one of the transaction which got failed and I haven't received any sms alert, but the amount has been deducted twice which should be for only one transaction for which I received sms confirmation with booking ID. I thought the second transaction will be reverted back as it wasn't confirmed by book my show, but the amount got deducted.

                          I tried to book movie tickets from www.bookmyshow.com through my credit card on 26th June, 2009. But due to their technical error I got a following message on screen. 'due to technical problem your tickets could not be booked, Please make sure that you get refund'. But when I checked in my credit card helpline they told that amount has been deducted by bookmyshow. I wrote an e-mail to them, they reply me that 'due to transaction failure your tickets have not been booked. We have instructed our bank you will get refund. please check you next credit card statement and if it has been charged send us scanned copy of your statement. three times I sent scanned copy of my latest statement of credit card, they didn't reply me at all. My last date of payment is 12th of August, 2009. yesterday only I sent them a mail but still I didn't get any reply from their end. Finally I thought I should complain against them.

                          on 19th july i booked three tickets and they instructed me that no extra charge will be charged, but when i recived my statement my statement shows me an extra charge on that occation of time..
                          i simply didnt get the way they were telling lie or there is lack of knowledge in regarding ticket booking..
                          if any extra charge is there they should been inform me before... in summary book my show is untrustable sight... If they would have inform me before i would not book those ticket from book my show.. and they collected 10% extra on each ticket without any information...
                          is this a kind way ????
                          I booked 2 movie tickes for paa on first time transaction got failed but the amount got deducted from my account so i paid twice for 2 tickets and they've charge convienece charges both the time but got ticke once only.
                          I totaly agreed. Today i booked 6 tickets fo movie 3 and 999 rs debited from my account however movie ticket didn't book and i got msg techinal error
                          i booked 5 tickets on bookmyshow.com for 3idiots for Rs 1000 from icici debit card, money from account diducted but not received tickets. thrir customer no is full busy and in that also waisted money but they are not picking. they r very big fraud

                          I totaly agreed. Today i booked 4 tickets fo movie 3 and Rs.1166.09 debited from my account however movie ticket didn't book and i got msg techinal error...This is such a fraud thing...
                          Agreed. I booked the tickets twice and both the times, amount was deducted from my card and tickets were not booked.
                          I also booked 3 tickets through my debit card on 30th November however the transaction got failed and the ticket amount got deducted from my debit card. I do received that your amount will be reimbursed however i didn't get the money back.
                          I booked 7 tickets through my debit card today however and the ticket amount got deducted twice from my debit card. Can you please confirm from your side that booking amt received by you twice or not since i got msg from hdfc bank that money has debited twice
                          I booked 2 tickets through my Indusind Bank Credit Card on 23-June 2012, however and the ticket amount got deducted three times from my credit card.
                          As per my discussion with Indusind Bank customer care executive, they told me that, you have to contact at book my show.com, when they will clear it, we will revert back amount in your a/c.

                            Hi

                            I purchased 2 tickets for Angels and Demons from Bookmyshow on 29th June. The amount was deducted from my account. Still the tickets were not delivered to me. There is no response on their call center or email address.


                            Seems to be a fraudalent service.

                              I tried to book threet tickets for the movie DOSTANA from the website www.bookmyshow.com for 16th Nov 2008, 8pm show in Fun Cinemas Andheri. The ticket was not provided to me but I was charged Rs.720/- on my ICICI Bank Credit card number 5176 XXXX XXXX 6000. I tried this booking at 1:30am om 16thNov 2008. When I entered my credit card details to book the tickets, the message appeared to me that the transaction could not be processed due to some problem.Till date I did not receive any sms or mail regarding this booking. My credit card has been charged of Rs.720/- even when the tickets were not provided to me. I contacted their customer care and have provided them the credit card details and credit card bill statement also. I called their customer care to know when I'll get the money back but every time they said that they are looking into the matters and the they will revert back by 2nd Jan 2009. But till date I have not received any communications from them.

                              I have just landed into same issue today.. I had booked 3 tickets, the amound got debited from my account, but the site showed a message" Transaction failed or cancelled by user"

                              I have already dropped a mail to Customer care and awaiting their reply...

                              The tickets are not bookked but amoubt is transacted from my Amex and debit card as well 3 tickets of 260 each with extra handling charges from both the cards 900 rs when it will refunded?

                                Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                i booked for the movie AGAN Ticket in the INOX theatre at Chennai for 2nd Nov 2008 at 6.45 pm show.

                                I Booked three tickets using my win Pin offer provided by ICICI Bank Credit Card Ltd.

                                But none of tickets has been booked due to Server Failure on the particular Website.

                                My win pin offer also due to this problem.

                                Amount has been charged in my credit card too.

                                Please do the needful at the earliest.

                                  I booked for a theater show on Bookmyshow.com and paid via online payment system. The money got deducted from my account but the tickets never came. Despite repeated calls and emails and sending of bank statements they refuse to even acknowledge.

                                  It is sad to note that Network 18 venture is resorting to such methods to keep itself afloat.

                                  HELLO IAM VIJAYA KUMAR ( [protected] ) I BOOKED 2 TICKETS FOR ORANGE MOVIE ON 26/11/2010 9:00AM SHOW THROUGH ICICI MOBILE BANKING, MONEY IS DEDUCTED FORM MY ACCOUNT BUT I DID'T GET THE TICKETS OR MESSAGE, PLEASE SOLVE MY PROBLEM.
