All those looking for convenience of booking tickets online, please beware !!
BookMyShow is the most 3rd grade site - with fraud payment systems and worst after sales service.
My bad experience started with my desire to watch the movie "3 " in City Pride Cinema, Kothrud , Pune.
Hence, I booked my movie tickets as per details below.
Movie : 3
Cinema : City Pride , Kothrud, Pune
Show Date: 27th December 2009
Show time: 2000 hours
Seat numbers booked: Row C – Seat numbers 7,8,9
Booking Date: 25th December 2009
Booking Time:[protected] hours
Total number of tickets booked: 3
Payment channel: ICICI Netbanking
The booking process happened normally till the payment was made.
And then I got the error message below:
" Technical Error: -24001
Somethings not right here. Chances are we are already on it trying to fix it. In the meantime you could try again or try calling 39895050 or if the problem persists please write to us at [protected]@bookmyshow.com and inform us about the issue."
The money has been deducted from my ICICI Bank account, but I have not got the tickets.
Some key learning’s from this experience:
1. Payment processing is very very fast to take money from your bank account.
2. You never get your tickets.
3. Call center and emails dont work at all !!
4. Their Mumbai office number has only 1 office boy[protected]
Overall, its very big "Screw My Show" for the customer !!!
Better to go directly to the cinema and get real tickets for real money.
Please avoid getting cheated like me !!

Same case happend with me, on 26th when three times I tried to book my ticket after the payment gateway process was over it showed technical error message and after few minutes I recieved 3 sms :"We are sorry that your booking for 3 idiotsat BIG Cinemas, TGIP Mall, Noida failed .Plz try again later, we will refund your 383.09."
In totality I lost 1149.27 rupees.
I also emailed them for refund of my amount, also i stated that as it was fault of the company, so kindly do not issue any credit note, They have not responded.
Am highly disappointed, and will take a tough step if they did not refunded my money.
