[Resolved] BookMyShow — Money Debited from Bank Account | |||
Date of the Incident: 23 Sept 2015 Client Number:[protected] Theater: INOX National: Arcot Road City: Chennai Show: 27 Sept 2015 03:45 PM I tried to book the 5 tickets using 2 gift vouchers each worth Rs:200. I also had to pay the outstanding amount after applying the gift vouchers using mu citibank debit card. At the end, the transaction failed. I've got the SMS that the Rs.371 is deducted from my account by BIGTREE-BILLDESK. I've called the customer care, they said that the gift voucher would be unblocked in next 40 minutes. However, they don't have enough information that when the amount would credited back to the bank account. Their answer was not satisfactory, but said it would be credited within 7 to 10 days, not sure about the bank's process. Was this information helpful? | |||

We believe in being transparent to our customers and try to deliver the best ticketing experience to them.
A gift voucher takes 40- 45 mins to get unblocked after an unsuccessful transaction.
In case of a debit through the bank account, the amount gets credited within 5-7 working days from the transaction date to reflect back into its account.
