A proud customer of Bosch products, we purchased a Bosch fridge model no. KDN42AL50I / 01 on Feb 2014. But on October 2021, I experienced an issue that the fridge would not cool down. To resolve the issue, we requested for service from an authorized Bosch service center. The technician replaced evaporator, dryer and gas filled and charged Rs. 8000 for the same. After the service, there was ice formation on the compressor copper pipe and alarm issue - alarm gets invoked for no reason everyday for which we have to manually turn off. When enquired about this issue, technicians told it was not an issue. But it was not the condition since we purchased the fridge until the service done was done.
The main purpose of writing this complaint is recurring failure of cooling down within 8 months of service done. These charges are very high and cannot afford such expensive service in future. We never expected such a reputed brand product to get broken down within 8 months of service. We are not in a position to repair it continuously at a high cost, so, we request you to repair/replace at the company's expense.
