I have been receiving calls and emails from various departments of Reliance Broadband. I have got the internet disconnected and cleared all bills, yet I keep receiving calls and warnings from recovery agents and emails that threaten of legal action. I have been posting complaints on this forum and everytime the social media calls back and confirms that I do not have to pay anything and promise to update their records but after a month I get another notice from Reliance and its been a cycle. I have today sent an email to all possible email addresses for Reliance and attached a copy of the email to this complaint. I have received the following email from Reliance Customer Care:

And this morning I received another call again from Reliance Legal Department asking me to pay money. Why is your Legal Department calling me again? I have taken a leave on 2 days and cosulted a lawyer. I am tired of receiving calls from Reliance Legal team and I want this sorted immediately. I demand to be compensated for the time, effort and money spent over all this confusion. I regret having taken a Reliance connection and the pathetic service received.

Please advice which number did you call since I do not see any missed calls on my phone. Call me on [protected] or [protected].
There has been no action till date on this. I have received a call this morning from a lady (number - [protected]) who cliamed that she is calling from Consumer Court Delhi. She was not ready to disclose her name or details. She spoke all over my questions and said that a case has been filed against me by Adv. R.C. Gautam and I am supposed to call him on [protected] and tell him that my file number is 311R13.

I have googled and found that this lawyer is spoken about in a lot of forums like:
http://www.consumercourt.in/broadband/7188-reliance-netconnect-complaint-20.html
http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/[protected]
http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/[protected]/12

and I am not going to contact him. When the hell are Reliance going to sort this out. I have had enough and I intend to go legal as soon as I can. I will speaking to my lawyer today.

Thanks you.
This is the standard technique of RCom care that they had made a call to us. But we couldnt be reached and the complaint was closed. In reality you wont get any call, technique to put at blame.
Hi,

I’m Krishna Kumar, i was using Reliance Postpaid connection ([protected]) for past 5 years .

From last week of December 2015 I stopped using the existing connection since I bought a new connection from Reliance (WIFI modem ).

As per the update from the Reliance customer service executives my connection was bared on first week of Jan 2016 .

I had to pay a balance of 1881 INR, Though I was not using the Reliance connection and my services were bared .I paid the amount on 21st of Jan 2016 .

I have raised a request to close my connection on 21st Jan 2016, 20th is my monthly billing date .

The very next day I got a mail from RCOM that I have to pay RS 500+ .

I have sent a mail to customer care on 21st to terminate my connection & why should again pay a bill amount of 500 + .

The same was communicated to customer service executives they assured that they will update the Back end team on the same and they will not call REG this issue .

From that day I haven’t got any calls from RCOM on the same, Yesterday I have got a legal notice from RCOM stating that I have to pay a INR 700 .

I have got SMS from RCOM dated 21st that my balance DUE for number [protected] is 1881 INR and I have a mail copy which from RCOM which says that I have paid the entire amount on the same day .

If I can pay the bill for past 5 years, I can pay 1 more month .

It’s not the matter of money, but My hard earned money can’t be taken for granted . If I have used your service I don’t bother to pay the bill amount . its postpaid connection and I paid the bill amount till for the Period till Jan 2016 . I cannot pay the bill for the terminated/ Connection bared period.

I would treat this Notice as a mental harassment, if there is no action taken against it I would close my new Wi-Fi modem connection & make sure that this issue is been taken to social media and there will be a legal suit charged against RCOM for taking things for granted .
