I have a similar case as well i was issued a cheque with a two month validity on the ARS bonds o[censored]TI maturing on 1st April 2009. The cheque was valid from 29 April to 29 June 2009 surprisingly the cheque was couriered so as to reach me on 1 July 2009 (after its validity has expired).

This absurd behaviour o[censored]Ti is unpardonable.

Both the said bonds, as named above, Bond Certificate Nos. 4024338 and 4024346, held by me, have matrured since Ist.June, 2008 but I have neither received any communication from the UTI nor received the maturity amount in cheque till date although I have been visiting the local(Balasore, Orissa) UTI office almost regularly. They say the cheques in question have been dispatched in my name after the matrurity date, but I have not received them yet. UTI has not remitted the redemption amount as well as last interest due on 1st June'08. This was least expected o[censored]TI- the "trusted" household name, especially after the fiasco o[censored]S-64 Scheme in 2003. That time the investors were urged to subscribe to the Tax Free US64 Bonds in 2003 to bail out UTI and not demand redemption o[censored]S-64 Scheme. Now when the time to refund the "trusting investors" money has come, UTI is silent. The Finance Ministry should look into this and ask UTI to pay interest atleast @ 18% for the delay beyond 1st June'08. -(INVESTOR ID NO.[protected]. Mobile phone no. 0-[protected].

i have us64 bonds -investor id ; [protected] whose maturity amount i was supposed to receive in april'08 but due to change in my address the cheque got returned to uti technology services ltd, mumbai. on taking up the matter with them they requested for an application from me for change of address duly attested by the bank official which was submitted by me two months back but i am still to receive the cheque for maturity amount. please help me get that.
