Very disappointing experience with Activ One Health Insurance. My hospital bill was ₹47, 259, but the company deducted ₹20, 807 without proper explanation and approved only ₹26, 453. In the end, I had to pay ₹20, 807 from my own pocket despite having an active policy.

Not providing policy document after payment

I have Aditya Birla Health Insurance (Activ Assure policy and Super Health Plus Top Up). I have paid my premium on Dec 10th 2021. However; I haven't received the policy document.
I have made multiple follow-ups over email and phone till Jan 2 and no response from them on solution.
Also, their website is too slow and couldn't fetch information on my policy, same goes with their WhatsApp support number. Hotline number always says that they are escalating and nothing happens.
I reached the grievance (Abhi.[protected]@adityabirlacapital.com) and escalation department through email on Jan 03 and they said that they are not seeing my payment on TopUp plan and asked to submit the payment acknowledgement number. I provided those information on January 13, still no response from grievance or escalation department
I have to go through mental agony after payment amount to them and no proper help on every followup. I am too much concerned on how the situation would be if we are in critical situation.
So frustrated with all follow-ups and haven't expected this kind of poor support from one of the top reputed organisation.

Cashless claim rejected without a valid reason
I was admitted to a network hospital due to a viral illness and applied for a cashless claim, since I have an insurance with Aditya Brla health insurance.
The diagnosis I received for a fever, bodily pains, and a headache.
However, the Adita Birla team denied my application, claiming that there is a two-year waiting period for illnesses listed under Excl02. But I haven't had any of those ailments or treatments.
The doctor mentioned the word acute Gastritis in the discharge summary, yet acute Gastritis is not listed under Excl02 in the policy wording.
The diagnosis I received for a fever, bodily pains, and a headache.
However, the Adita Birla team denied my application, claiming that there is a two-year waiting period for illnesses listed under Excl02. But I haven't had any of those ailments or treatments.

cheater agents misleading policyholders by not providing promised amount

Please please and please beware of this aditya birla health insurance policy. At first they guarantee a particular cashless amount to your treatment in a hospital and then make you pay 90 percent from your own pocket with out revealing policy workouts to their policy holder. Their third grade agents employed by aditya and the third grade health insurance company misguiding and cheating policy holders.
Admitted to a hospital to get the surgery done on approval of this rougue aditya birla health insurance company later they termed it as estimated approval and cheated me. Later i have to pay 90 percent of my surgery cost from my own pocket. Please spread this caution on social media and other online portal so that nobody gets cheated by this health insurance company.
Hope atleast rest of people will escape from this cheater company.

I requested for my policy No.[protected] cancellation request on 14th February 2018. I get a email in 20th February 2018 that your policy cancellation request is under process and Request No. is CAS - 48939-Z3Q5W7, hence amount is not refunded as of now. I have follow-up many times with Aditya Birla Customar Care No.[protected]. he is saying amount will be refunded 48 hours. but still not get my money. 40 days has gone, they are not providing any solution.
Please check the issue and solve it as soon as possible

Complaint marked as Resolved I have called up the customer care toll free no.18002707000, executive is saying that we have forwarded the your issue to Aditya Birla Refund department. they will resolve the issue within 48 hours. I have called many times. but solution is not provided as of yet. canacellation TAT is 15 days as per IRDA. but 30 days almost has gone, Please look into this.
