On girish colddrink road, there is no divider. So 2 traffic barriers are there in center of route coming from induben khakhrawala side(lets call it WAY 1) just near the square to make it look like one way so that vehicles will move on left side only. But since there are only two barriers and after that its open so many of the people drive there vehicle from other side of barrier(wrong side).
For pedestrians its quite difficult to cross the road. Pedestrians coming from swastic cross road side can cross this road upto center (where barriers are kept) only when traffic coming from WAY 1 is moving bcz no vehicles coming from other 3 roads. Rest of the time when vehicles coming from other 3 roads, we can't cross this WAY 1. But since people drive their people on wrong side, pedestrians can't cross the road even at that time. How would we cross the road then?
Please visit this square once(especially in evening) and check yourself.
Please either build a proper divider on whole road or please make a traffic policeman available there to stop people driving on wrong side.

I visited pvr, acropolis mall, sg highway on tuesday to watch a movie for 3.30 show. I was very sad and surprising to find out that there is no parking place available in the mall. I went to the basement parking and came out through exit as there was no parking space. There were around 7-10 cars before me in the queue facing the same problem. The security there was rude to answer and said, " humko nahi pata, gaadi bahar jaane do. Yahan jagah nai hai. Bahar rakho'. We cant park anywhere outside as it is wrong, also car can get towed away. I think the parking is full because of the offices in the mall and so are left with less space for customers. Pvr should run less shows if there is no parking. I made it to the movie at 4:10 instead of 3.30. I had to ask the pvr team lead, vrushabh to help me with parking. I wasted so much time and missed the movie too! Please look into the matter.

106, 1st floor, rajnigandha tower, camp road, shahibaug, ahmedabad - 380004, near rajasthan hospital for farewell party of bsnl employee with my two wheeler. When i parked at front side parking security person dined and advice me to park at back side. When i went and park at back side the shoap keeper dined eventhough there is parking avilable. On yesterday (28/07/2018). I was go for my work with my friend in my car. I was parked my car with parking light under campus corner building. I just go for bring some snacks. Two traffic police came and capture all cars image in their mobile. I asked them to why you captured my car image on their mobile or not? They haven't captured my car image in their mobile but after asking that they illegally taken my car pic then they bribe 500 rs for delete my car picture. I was in hurry otherwise i will take action against them. They taken 100 rs (Between 5-6 pm (28/07/2018) if cctv camera available then you can check on cross road to taken 100 rs.

Over the past several years, vehicles from narol circle to village jaitalpur are parked on the national highway no 8 service road, in which the bhagirath complex, under the rangoli bridge, swaminarayan complex, krishna a-b complex, sukh amrut complex, swastik centre complex, mahindra motoros, kavita cooperative housing society, bank of baroda, and hospitals are located complex. The owners of the parking lot have not even raised the parking arrangements, so people coming in this complex will be able to park vehicles on the service road. Besides, the services of lambha village to ashlali service road stand vehicles by the transporters on the road and if the garage is open on the service road and, you should action that these vehicles, garages, transporters and request to prosecute the owners of the complex,

I am got e challan for more than two passenger in bike for 1000 rs. As per rules the section 184 & 177 they just give 50 rs memo and this is my first memo.

I have sending reply in mobile number using whatsapp & mail and also try to contact 1095 & number mention on e challan but no one give me replay after 10 day.

I have try to contact regarding e challan but can't find any of the solution for this.

Need to resolve traffic solution in bopal ghuma main road during pick hours. After brts route started, traffic problem increase in non brts route due to heavy traffic in single route. There is parking problem in main road after brts route.
I suggest, heavy vehicle like truck, tracker, school bus, govt bus should be allow in brts route so can reduce traffic problem in normal route.
Mainly traffic jam due to bus stop, low speed vehicle like tracker in normal route.
Either small vehicle like car allowed in brts route.
Pls take necessary action on priority as people get so many traffic penalty notice against drive in brts route during busy hours

In east (Purv) of ahmedabad, every day, traffic police not doing their job properly. They only doing enjoyment being togather.

In national highway 8, from soni ni chal to ctm, traffic police stand but all are together in brts road, no-one stop traffic.

When any city police come they come and stand. After they go, be as it is.

In west (Pachhim) of ahmedabad. Police perform there work properly.

My bike number is gj-01 sq4559, when i was going to my office in early morning on 14.07.2014, i stop on signal, suddenly one guy passing near me and going the wrong side. After that 3 star mr. Vagela come back behind me and say to side my bike. I done what they say, but after that he blamed me that i am drive my bike in wrong side. I told him, but i am stand at my side, there is not my any fault. But he not listen my single word and order other guy to take my bike picture.
Now they send me 1000₹ echallan for wrong side driving.
My question is that if i do nothing wrong at that time so why i paid this???
If at that time i give 100 or 200₹ to him, that was ok for him, because it was going to his pocket.
That's our police department???
Shame on you..

I am leaving at new sharda mandir road, near sukhipura bus stand, paldi area. near shree mad rajchandra gnyan mandir there is a small 4 cross road.. it is also a mian road. But there is no any bump or speed breaker, so approx 2-3 accident occure in every month. some were very serious. so i am requsting to traffic dept., municipal dept, to make bump / speed breaker at that main road without any delay.. it is very very serious matter, if your dept. consider to wear helmet compulsery to protect citizens life, then to make such type of bumps are also your duty and an urgent work.
One more issue is that, though it is a 4 cross type road, main strret lights are too poor in night. it is also require to change it and make it more powerfull to protect citizens life .

This goverment thinks they stay forever in guajrat. After echallan my mind is changed to vote now other parties. Now my violation of traffic is i just dont wear sports shoes and they fined me 100rs echallan memo with camshot. I am agree with their rules wah bhai wah. There is building "Abhigam" in front of of our flat in which they park there vehicles on road. This creates a lot of nuisance to the people staying in our flat, but they dont listen to anyone. The people in building there sit at night create a lot of chaos, speak loud and do other things which create a lot of nuisance to us. Please take required action.

I would like to bring to your kind attention that erratic vehicle parking is done just opposit to doon school. The bidg. Houses dance classes and tution classes as a result entire foot path is covered by vehicles. The road leading towards sai baba temple is as such narrow and this congestion makes near impossible for sr. Citizens to walk safely.

Why is it that people are not expected to follow traffic rules in Ahmedabad. Today I was driving towards from Drive-in to Paldi, and came across a situation where the path of the travelling lane was blocked by cycles and bikes from the perpendicular lane whose signal was still red. I called the Traffic police at the junction and asked him why they were not strict about the other lanes stopping before the stop line..... His first reply was "Sirf do log kya kar sakte hain", the second one was " Stop ki line nahin hai... bana bhi denge to koi dekhega to hai nahin"... third one was "Madam, yahaan pe aisa kuch rule nahin hota hai".

I am amazed that Ahmedabad follows an entirely different set of traffic rules from the rest of the country.

Why is it that at any point of time and on any major road, you always see at least one person driving on the wrong side? Why do two-wheelers, three-wheelers or four wheelers not stop at the STOP line before the traffic crossings? Why is it that people do not use helmets and seat belts? Why do pedestrians not cross the roads only at the Zebra Crossings (or is it because you haven't provided enough zebra crossings on every road in the city?

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT EVERY MEMBER OF YOUR ORGANIZATION KNOWS ALL THE TRAFFIC RULES, and not just know them, but understands them and their importance properly.

Everyday in the newspapers, we read about fatal and non-fatal road traffic accidents, some of which also cause destruction on PUBLIC PROPERTY. A number of cases are seen where trying to save an errant pedestrian, cyclist, scooterist, biker or a car driver, a large public vehicle ends up ramming another vehicle or a public structure (Yesterday, a BRTS bus rammed into a BRTS station in order to save an errant pedestrian who was walking on the road with her headphones on and not paying any attention to what is happening to the road). IN CASE ANY DAMAGE OR ACCIDENTS OCCUR DUE TO SUCH ERRANT PEOPLE, THEY SHOULD BE PUNISHED AND MADE TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGES INCURRED. That is the start to make people responsible for how they behave on the road.

You'll sure take step against the system of ahmedabad traffic police, if you are not the part of the bribeing system of Ahmedabad trafic police.
I was just caught by the Traffice Police today evening at soni ni chawl, ahmedabad, mentioning that i have not removed the film applied on my car windows.
When i ask him wether the law is meant for whole gujarat or there is a different law for cars Bearing Number Plate starting with GJ1, GJ2,GJ3 and GJ18?
He replied that it is even for all.
Then i politily asked him to look all the cars passing by bearing the Number Plate starting with GJ1, Gj2,GJ3 and GJ18 are also having film in the car windows.
Suddenly, he started shouting and sholding me in front of everyone on the road.
Showing me the law printed and when i started my arguments on the same he said i'll put you behind the bars right now as you have said bad words to me in front of everyone.
Secondly, a small postioned police officer standing by said that he'll also write that you have called media and make the case more strong in our favour.
After all my arguments were in vain, he lastly disclosed that he was in need of a small bribe of Rs.100 when was not offered by me.
And he is obligding me by releasing me just giving me a traffic ticket of Rs.200.
He also mentioned 2 name of TV channels on my traffic Ticket to make his case more strong.
I tried to take his pic. but he took my mobile and deleted the taken pic.and he was about to break my mobile by smashing the same on the road by one of the office stopped him to do so.
This whole insident took about 20 mins., during this 20 mins. about approx. 45 cars bypassed by bearing Number Plate starting with GJ1, Gj2,GJ3 and GJ18 and non of them were fined or even stopped for checking.
This was the most disgusting behaviour showed to me by 5 to 7 police officers standing right in front of me.

What can be done to this bribe taking police?

You'll surely take some Fastest possible action if you are not getting cut from there this black earning.

Yesterday i was Coming from Naroda to Ghatlodia via Kalupur Railway station cross road, i was about to go from Relief road, so i was turning from the cross road.
I Just was riding my bike on the right side and because of traffic i slowed it down, one Traffic Police came and told to get my bike in side i followed his order, at the same time another bike riding person came but he was friend of one the the standing traffic police there so he went on the wrong side and started shaking traffic police hand.
I was asked to give Licence and i gave it. The told me that you have braked traffic rule, i replied when ? i never crossed in wrong direction ! He replied if i would have not stop you then you would have cross in wrong direction. I said that this is absolutely wrong thing.
Then he asked me to give something i replied that i have everything and not even crossed in wrong direction for what i should give ?
Then he started to verify my bike properly. He didn't found any mistake so he told me i am taking your licence as you have broken traffic rule. i told no i haven't. Then he told me you have to collect your licence from court i am making receipt and he told me that you will have to give 1000 as fine in court or you give me something here, i was bit scared of all this stuff so i told ok i will give you here. Then he saw 500 Rs note in my Wallet and he told ok give me 500 and go. I tried to tell him that this is too much but he disagreed and went to catch another.

I was going on IIM Road and one police man stop me at IIM cross Roads on 24th August 7:00 p.m.his name was R M Vaghela he charged fine on me but used many bed words against me what authority he has to use any bed words or threaten anybody as being a policeman just for the shake of name? These policemen thinks themselves they have all the power with them only and a few policemen like this Vaghela are spoiling the name of Indian police in the world. Such policemen should be suspended. His intension was to take braive from me but couldn't because some other policemen were also there around him.

Can our police commissioner Mr. Sudhir Sinha do anything in this regards or the people will have to suffer from these policemen forever. Will there be any code of conduct for such policemen.

Now this is the matter to see what will Mr. Sinha do against Vaghela.

And they take our vehicles and charge Rs. 100.... there is no meaning if there is no proper parking place then what to dooo????????????????????????????????????????????????? and it takes how much pain for common man to earn Rs. 100??????????/

Really it's very shameful to say that Ahmedabad Traffic Police is one of the worst in following the road laws.
And now a days it's become very much open for all traffic police to make the money without any hassitation to cheat the people in the name of traffic laws.

I would like to complain to the highter authority to make sure that if they make traffic law it should be follow properly with the traffic department as well as with the public.Now a days in Ahmedabad all traffic police don't care about the human value,integrity or any ethics,they are very much proffessional to exploit the people.

So my message to ahmedabad traffic police is that It's great to be in India after 5 years abroad but when you guys are cheating people and making money without any ethics,laws it's very shameful for Ahmedabad traffic police and for the concern Traffic commissioner too.

I come my for pan shop at govind wadi one police man say stop bike i stop my bike & he ask me for license i give my license at that time he remove my bike key & say u r three parson so give me fine of 50rs i say ok . i give that time four auto in line pass at that place with 7 or more then passenger i say why are u not stop those auto. he say some bad word of me &say it is my subject not yours. then i say i ride only 500to800 miters why r u fine me ? Second time he say me bad word
& say they all are pay me money for month. U gives only 20rs & go. i say i put your complaint AT police station for that . Ahmedabad Traffic Department must be one of the most corrupt and most ineffective traffic department in INDIA.

The corruption level has gone so low that event the HOME GUARDS who are recruited just to support the Ahmedabad Traffic Police have started stopping people and taking illegal fines from them even in absense of any PROPER TRAFFIC POLICE

I tried to stop one of this corrupt HOME GUARD stading opposite Indraprasth Towers, Drive In Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and he beat me and tore my shirt and that too at 10:00 AM when there is lot of traffic around.

I just tried to stop him harassing a little boy and told him that he has no right to take illegal money from any one and it is not his duty to collect fines like this and he got annoyed and slapped me, and of further arguing he started beating me.

Before he started I had taken his photographs

The parimal railway crossing has been closed and the traffic is now diverted tthrough railway crossing from Ambawadi fruit market to Hirabaug Railway crossing. During the peak hours in morning at 11 am to 12 noon and in evening at 6.30pm to 8.45pm their is total cheos. The traffic is jammed and it takes about half hour to cross the small strech. There is no traffic police manning the circle. One police man should be posted so the traffic jam does not take place.

We hope an immediate action will be taken.
