I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to bring to your attention a concerning incident that occurred at the American Tourister store in Avani Mall, Howrah, West Bengal. When I dropped by to inquire about repairing my cabin size luggage zip, I was initially informed that the cost would be around 400-600 max. I was assured that I would be notified about the final cost before any repair work began.
However, after a few weeks passed without any communication regarding the repair cost, I was surprised to find that my luggage had been repaired. To my dismay, I was then asked to pay 1600/- just for the zip change. When I requested to speak with customer care, I was informed that there is no customer care available and that they couldn't provide a bill for the 1600/- amount.
I am deeply disappointed by this experience, as it seems to be a case of service scamming. I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention so that appropriate action can be taken against the staff member involved, Muhammed Arbaz. I have included their phone number, +[protected], for reference.
I kindly request that you investigate this incident thoroughly and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation. It is crucial to maintain trust and transparency in customer service, and incidents like these can greatly damage the reputation of a brand.

I have purchased a brand new 4 wheel trolley bag of American Tourister from Dubai mall product no (85A(M)09006 OO ID 53027630 A.T. BON AIR 66 CM BLACK.
but during my recent domestic trip both the handle in the trolley bags broke during handling at airport.
This was quite suprising as this was my first travel after covid with this trolley bag.
quite disappointed with the product.

replacement of defective suitcase

This mail i am writing in view of the injuries and difficulties and harassment caused to me and my family because of defective nature and make of your american tourister soft fabric suitcase. I had purchased this suitcase from central mall, surat, around 3.5 years back.in those 3 years i had got the suitcase repaired 2-3 times for defective wheel assembly. Since warranty period is 3 years i had to pay nothing. All these three times i had experienced same issues of wheels assembling and rotation which used to cause major problems while travelling, be it by train or by air. Last time i got repaired was around 8-9 months back. The warranty has now expired. While travelling abroad this june this suitcase’s wheels gets dislodged again and break off. I was carrying the suitcase, my hand got twisted and i fell down and got hurt badly. My trip was spoiled fully. I could not walk and my hand was badly injured.
Now 20 days back we went to central mall and yet again gave this suitcase for repair. They kept it for 15 days and today when we went to collect it they said that as it is out of warranty now, so the repair work will cost rs 2200/-.
Now tell me when i have been getting one same problem repaired again and again 2-3 times and it is repeatedly going on getting damaged for the same problem again and again, and when after warranty the problem again occurs, the company asks for huge repair damage cost, any human being will get mad and go to higher authorities and take help of government consumer rights department. I would like you to kindly get me a replacement done for my harrowing experience which i have been facing due to this suitcase of your company. I was told by my colleagues that i can approach the consumer court for the injury, harassment and loss of travelling cost and loss of business income i underwent because of this issue.
But i would really want to settle this issue with you in the form of just a replacement with a hard top big size suitcase as a compensation for the major bad memories of our holiday trip abroad being spoilt and my work getting disturbed.
Awaiting your positive and early response on my case.

complaint regarding the quality issue of the american tourister bag

I am having american tourister trolley bag purchased from vadodara in April 2017.I have attached the warranty card and the pictures of the bag for the same. The bag is of low quality with loose trolley.The tyres of the trolley are not worth at all.The lock of the bag seems to be like a showpiece, since, it is not usable. I am not satisfied with the quality of the bag.I lost trust in american tourister bags. This is merely a harassment to the customer, since, again and again I have to visit the service center then also my problem is not resolved. During selling of the bag there are a lot of commitments but during repair we get to know that all those commitments of the company are fake.Then what is the purpose of paying for such an expensive bag when the quality is not maintained by the company.We lost faith in the company. Please look into the matter and resolve my problem by replacing the bag as early as possible. Already sent this matter to customer care of AMERICAN TOURISTER bag but no response or solution is provided by them. we submitted all the details TO THEM.

pathetic experience with american tourister/samsonite

I am having a pathetic experience with American Tourister/samsonite customer service lately!
I have two-year-old 79 CM trolley suitcase and its wheels are not working properly. I contacted local store to fix them. They said get in touch with customer support. When I check http://americantourister.in/contact-us fount they don’t even have a call support number. I wrote an email on 27 May 2019 with details of my issue.
I got a response to visiting the exclusive store, but we don’t have an exclusive store in our city. I requested a phone number so that I can explain my issue and got one but since then I am just tracking. I texted him photos of my suitcase and its wheel but there is no response. They need to focus more on customer service then just advertisements.
VIP is far better then America Tourister/samsonite I got my bag fixed in just one call. I am never going to buy American Tourister product in future, not recommend to anyone.

I brought an american tourister bagpack from amazon on 29/8/18. After one week o[censored]sing one of it's strap came out. So, i took it to the samsonite american tourister repair center to get it repaired since it is in the warranty period. I told them about the problem and thry asked to me submit the bag and take it back after a week. After a week i got a phonecall saying your bag has been repaired, come and collect it. On reaching there they tell me they are offering me a replacement. This is where they cheated me, i got the bag for rs 1, 814 and they asked me to buy a new bag from their store which all cost above 3k by saying that we will adjust rs 1, 814 in that. Never going to trust this company again.

My name is krish choudhury & my complain is against american tourister's after sales service. I have purchased a travel bag from spencers b. T road on 01.01.2017. (Warranty card attached) after the first tour two of the wheels of the trolley came out & i immediately reported to the concerned dept. At spencers and it was replaced with lots of dissent though & then on my next trip the other two wheels fell out & when this was reported again to the american tourister section at spencers, they were reluctant to listen initially then the simply refused to extend any help & flatly asked me to get it done from wherever possible & denied responsibility.
Even the behaviour was very rude & unruly.
Request to help me in this regard.

I have bought 65cm magenta bag on 20th april 2018 and that bag has destroyed in first visit only. Even i have taken care of the bag and handled it carefully all the time but the quality of the bag was so poor it was torned from various places also the handle was also broken. Tha bottom of the bag was too week that was not able to carry the loads and torned from the bottom also.

I have the warranty of 1 year and i want a good qualite bag from american tourister. When i went to nearby american tourister shop they said me they will not take the product. Why i don't know?

Suitcase Handle got broken on 23rd April 2018 have checked with Spencer supervisor but they not responded properly and also they replied it's not possible for replacement in a rudely manner.
Kindly check and help on this ASAP as I am traveling on site, (USA) 27th April 2018 and also do help to get the replacement with quality suitcase. Thanks in advance.

I have purchased a american tourister bag on 23.3.18 from the police canteen in bhubaneswar and at the side of it a hole was present which i didn't notice while purchasing. But till today though warranty is present no replacement done. Just hate this american tourist company. Just # company fooling people with it fake warranty policy. I had purchased school bag for my son who is in standard six
On 04.04.2017 from m/s dawerson distributors scf 6, sector 19 c chandigarh for rs 1480 bill no. 16109
Complaint: both the side pockets (Bottle) made out of net gave away soon after purchase.
A complaint was lodged with dealer and bag was handed over to dealer on 11.07.2017 bag returned on 05.08.2017 unattended stating that net is not covered under warranty (Repair would cost rs 300 with replacement with synthetic cloth of some different colour).
My assertion is that: the bag was used only for 3 months for the purpose for which it is meant i. E. As school bag. Amt/ dealer can't refuse warranty under the grab of net not covered. This item is meant to be used like this only and for school purpose.
Clearly there is fault with product and at the time of purchase, the dealer didn't elaborated the durability /poor quality of the net. If the net is not so durable as compared with cloth, why the same was being provided on bags, just to harass the customers. The child is not using the bag since 11.07.2017 as its torn pockets are giving very shabby look.
Please refund the amount paid by me or replace the bag immediately with a good quality bag.

broken _ school bag
I have purchased a school bag labelled as american tourister from big bazzar, thiruvanahtapuram, kerala on 20.10.2017. My son demanded to get a bag, american tourister in name, as he likes most last year i brought two such bags for my wards on their demand. On enquiry, the reason for why they like this bag, is found that these bags are very nice in appearance and long lasting. Every year i used to buy these bags during the school opening. I also recommended to my near and relatives about the qualities of the bag. But unfortunately the bag which was brought on 20.10.2017 has broken on its pouch portion and not in a good position to use. Hence refund or replace requested.

no response from american tourister representative in delhi for suitcase replacement since 3 months

Hi. I have a american tourister trolley (Hard material case) which was bought a year back (In 2016) and the outer material got broke within few months.
So i went to the american tourister dealer in uttam nagar delhi and asked them for replacement as my trolley is in 3 years warrantee period.
They inspected the trolley and agreed for the replacement and noted down our complaint and forwarded it further to the company for replacement and they told us to keep our trolley with us only and to bring it back after 15-20 days when the replacement will be recieved.
Now its almost been more than 3 months that still i have not got my replacement. I have called the reprentative of american tourister in delhi that is mr puran shrivastva many times and initially he used to say it will take more days.
After calling many times, one day he said that your replacement has arrived but i'm bit busy these days and i ll call you back when i'm free. Since that day i have not recieved any call back and infact i have been calling him constantly but he never picks up.
Now i dont know whom to contact and how will i get my replacement.
My experience with american tourister service has been quite worst. I did not expect that such a good brand will provide such a bad service to their customer.
Now kindly help me in getting my replacement before the warranty gets expired.

not received trolley bag even after 70 days

Dear sir,
On 24 jul 2017, i contacted to indranagar, bangalore service center with my trolley bag for wheel and zip replacement under warranty claim. They told me it will take 15 days to repair (Service invoice no 53197 dated 24 jul 2017). But after 15 days, when i contact them again then they said to wait for another few days as item was still under repair. After 1 month, service representative told me as we are not able to repair the zip so we are going to arrange for trolley replacement and thats why it will take another 10 days for replacement process. But even after almost 70 days, still they are not able to provide me that trolley bag and everytime gave some silly excuses.
There are few question: american tourister is such a big brand then why they take such a long time period for replacing such a small thing. They have many showroom in bangalore, why don't they arrange it from there and if they are not able to arrange it then why don't they exchange it with new trolley bag.

asked for repairing charge while the bag comes under the 3 years of warranty
Hi, i purchased one 67 mm american tourister bag on december 2016 and got the 3 years of warranty. During handling the wheels and handle got damages within few months. I went to american tourister repairing center at vadapalani, chennai. I showed him the bags and warranty card and asked him for repairing. The main thing is that bag comes in under warranty even they are asking me to charge to change the wheels and broken handles. Kindly put your more attention and don't misguide the customer during purchase. Please maintain your dignity and as said by your sellers kindly follow them.

medium sized suitcase

I puchased a medium size suitcase on 11-04-17. Now the rubber of the wheel is not in a good condition. It seems that i have been using the product from long time. This shows that the durability of the product is not gud. When i have spend money on a brand then atleat i want satisfaction also. Now i am not satisfied with the product. I took the luggage to the dealer, he told that company will replac3 the wheel. I requested them to please ask the company to replace the product but they said that only wheel will be replaced not product by the company. So, i thought to msg to the company. Now please this is my request to please repace the suitcase with a new one and not the replacement of whèel only, as when you buy a product of your brand customer wants full satisfaction. If the company will not replace the suitcase then in future i wil not even think of buying the product of your brand and neither my none ones. This ismy humble request to please change the product. Hope you will take the matter in consideration for the better ment of your band so that everyone may come to know about the good things of your brand and will be keen to buy your productbecaus3 of good service.

poor cloth quality
I bought a american tourister bag on 24/6/17. Inspite of good handling and care it has developed scratches and small tears on its front face.
The bag had been sent to the company but was sent back saying its my fault.
Please do co operate regarding this issue.
The bag is under its warranty period. Its the quality which is poor and not my handling.

I have purchased the suitcase which have been torned and i approached dealer but he refused and ask me to contact company service engineer. He refused to give companies service engineer contact number also. Pls let me know what to do as it's under warranty. This my second complaint since more than two months.
I also have purchased two more suitcases of four wheel and their wheels are not working properly. I hope you will solve my problem and will get my suitcase replaced.

I purchased an american tourister bagpack from amazon on may 22 2017 & i barely used the bag for a month and it was damaged at the bottom. So i contacted amazon customer care immediately & they told me to approach to a nearest dealer to fix this issue. Later, i contacted the dealer multiple times & they do not care to address this issue & on top of it, its just a blame game... Whenever i try to contact them
They're just saying that its not manufacturing defect.. I don't get it, i hardly used the bag for 15 days after my purchase & its clearly seen that the damage is because of the poor quality.. I never faced any issues with other brands in the past but with this brand i've had a really bad experience... I'm never going buy this brand again. I want either a replacement or a refund.
