Hi, in 2022 I had applied for an university in the USA and applied for the degree to sent online on their portal. It charged me Rs 7500 which I was informed later was not the correct amount and it was just Rs 1000 . I went to college and completed all the formalities that were asked to be done and went through a lot of hassle. I have been waiting for that money to come for the last 1.5 years and it never showed up. It is ridiculous the way the alumni is treated.

My name is Lourd Joseph, I enrolled with Amity University in Feb 2023 but I haven't received any update regarding my classes or about my enrollment. I had made a payment and uploaded documents and also received response stating documents were submitted successfully but no other update received so far.

Dear Concerned,

I am writing to you in regards to my Post Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting program at Amity University. I had completed my 4th semester during the previous academic year and had submitted my project for the same.

However, I was recently informed that my project submission has not been received by the university. I would like to clarify that I did submit my project, which was a comprehensive report of 16, 000 words, as per the given guidelines and requirements. I have proof of the plagiarism check I did before submitting.

It has taken a significant amount of effort, time and resources to complete this project. Therefore, it is disheartening to learn that my hard work may have gone to waste due to this unfortunate situation. They are asking me to pay fees 4000 and submit again.

As a committed student, I take my academic responsibilities very seriously and would like to request your help in resolving this matter. Please let me know if there is any additional information that I can provide or any steps that I can take to assist in this process.

Had paid Rs2.11 Lacs and sought withdrawal before 31 Oct'22 . Per UGS Guidelines all withdrawls before 31 Oct'22 is to be refunded but Amity gave only Rs20k stating their classes started and 30 days after they will not refund. Whearas UGS makes it clear that for year 2022-23 Univ. have to refund full fees.

I paid 12, 000 as first Semester fee then I uploaded my documents on which I got a Mail that after verifying my documents they found the discrepancies (10th & 12th board not listed in COBSE and a link to re-upload my correct documents...

I studied in this university for masters. The teachers of ASFT department one faculty use to always make me feel small of every other student. Because of my one mistake they have torcher me to death. Today I only want to do suicide because of this so called educational field teacher.
They told me to do redo redo redo redo even after making the changes used spin boat and made right file.

I have sent alot of mails and calls regarding some changes that took place in my bank account and to refund my security in my given bank account but there has not been any action taken place, my security has not been refunded and no calls have been answered ....

On 15th January, I registered myself for the PHD in management from Amity Business School. After entrance exam and subsequently online interview, I was informed that I am selected for the PHD on 25th January. On the same time it was asked by the university to pay immediately otherwise, the confirmation will not be provided. Dear Hon’ble Mam / Sir,

With an ambition to go for higher education, I, Shaili Priya, daughter of Shri Mukesh Kumar, had taken admission to Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Noida, with following details;

Upon admission, I had paid the following amounts to the Amity University, Noida;

1. Hostel Fee of Rs.1, 75, 000/= (Rupees One Lakh Seventy Five Thousand only) which included Rs.1, 60, 000/= as Hostel Fee and Rs.15, 000/= as Hostel Security Deposit
2. Academic Fee of Rs.85, 000/= (Rupees Eighty Five Thousand Only) which included Rs.65, 000/= as Academic Fee of 1st Term and Rs.20, 000/= as Academic Security Deposit.

Thereafter, I got a better opportunity and got admitted to Christ University, Bangalore (Main Campus), in the same course. Therefore, I withdrew my admission from Academic and Hostel of Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Noida, which refunded the following amount to me.

1. Hostel Fee Refund of Rs.15, 000/= as Hostel Security Deposit (Entire Hostel Fee of Rs.1, 60, 000/= forfeited)
2. Academic Fee Refund of Rs.72, 000/= as Academic Security Deposit and 20% of Academic Fee

The unfortunate part of the above is that I have been in continuous communication with the University and they have categorically written that the amounts already refunded to me are as per Amity University, UP (AUUP) Withdrawal Guidelines and hence and no any further refund amount is admissible in my case. This is clearly in contradiction with the Laws of Land and UGC Guidelines of July 2021 on “Examinations and Academic Calendar in view of the COVID-19 Pandemic” for Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate students in respect of refund policy applicable to the fresh admissions for the Academic Session 2021-22.

It may kindly be noted that I have withdrawn my admissions from hostel and academic of Amity University, UP, Noida on 15.09.2021 that is well before the last date 31.10.2021 and even before commencement of classes and hostel registration. I have followed all the norms/guidelines/instructions of the Amity University while withdrawing my admission. I neither have attended any class nor have occupied any hostel. The attitude of the University is quite unlawful, illegal and physically/mentally humiliating and harassing towards me specially in this Era of Pandemic (COVID19) even after I withdrew my admission timely and hence did not turn up for registration of the hostels and classes.

Sir, I have been in pain and in financial crisis as I observe that the entire Hostel Fee i.e. 100% of 1, 60, 000/= and 20% of the Academic Fee i.e. Rs.13, 000/=, both totalling as Rs.1, 73, 000/= (Rupees One lakh Seventy Three Thousand Only), has been forfeited by the university. The amount is substantial for a student and, in this era of COVID19, it will help me in my future endeavours in my specialized area of higher education.

I must be grateful if you look into the injustice committed to me by the University and issue necessary instructions to them to refund my Hostel and Academic Fee as admissible as per Government Norms & Guidelines.

The list of my communications with Amity University, UP, Noida and excerpts from UGC Guidelines are enclosed herewith in Annexure-I and Annexure-II respectively.

All associated documents (11 Nos.) as referred in Annexure-I are attached herewith in compressed form.

“In view of the financial hardships being faced by parents due to lockdowns and related factors, a full refund of fees should be made on account of all cancellations of admissions/ migrations of students up to October 31, 2021 for the academic session[protected] as a special case. It is made clear that the entire fee, including all charges, should be refunded (i.e. there should be zero cancellation charges) on account of cancellations/ migrations up to October 31, 2021. Thereafter, on cancellation/ withdrawal of admissions up to December 31, 2021, the entire fee collected from a student should be refunded in full after deducting not more than Rs.1000/- as processing fee.”

Last two year have panding bills aprox 7-8 lakh, we r many time contact responsible person but not clarify regarding to payment.

I was looking to register for an MBA online course on weekends. Amity online contacted me and told me classes will be held on weekends and I can do it from there. Now after paying the fee they are asking me to watch recorded lectures as classes are being held on weekdays.
They are not responding to my calls after asking for refund. I feel totally helpless now. Please help me....

There is no updated details on portal even after paying the fees. There is no updated notifications showing. There is no live lectures for all the subjects despite paying so much fees. Technical complaints takes weeks to be resolved....

Appeared in the exam in July 2019, while the subject was not initially in my admit card but later they said it has to be appeared for, Exam appeared in December 2019. Following up since then but nobody is reverting positive on the result status and neither it is being updated on the portal.
Fees were given in advance hoping for successful completion of Diploma, while I have not been able to update my academic credentials despite successfully completing the same. for the time span of 6 months course, Amity has taken more than 2 years and still its simple harassment.

I completed my ll. M from amity gurugram last year (2019). Its been 13 months and stilli havnt gotmy security refund back. They wont tolerate single day while you give admission fees to them. But when it comes to giving money back, they puke. From last 9 months everytime i call or mail them, response i get from them is you will get your refund soon.

Amity is a kind of big scam. While admission in pgdba (Business analytics) online. They promised a lot. Chaya dubey was my point of contact. Now after completing the course and taking 1.2 lakhs they are saying that i am not eligible for a degree as i did not passed some exam. It's just a money minting university and government must considering banning this university.

I called amity university today... Actually i want admission in btech biotechnology... So i called on one of the number around 4:06 pm given on amity site i. E.[protected].. This was the no. Just to know the admission procedure of the university... So a lady counsellor picked up the call.. I told my percentage to her of my 12th standard... Nd told her that i have done 12th from amu... Then seriously!! Poor of you lady... First of all she don't know about amu... Then she said that we don't consider "regional university"... I was like 😶what??? Regional university.. Like seriously you know what is the meaning of regional university... Then i said mam it's a central government university... Then she laughed at me soo... Like how can i tell uhh such a weird one... I hope u can understand.. Then said.. U are not eligible as your university is regional..?? Should i gave this issue to media or what.. That such a reputed private university appoints an illiterate, people having no knowledge as their counsellor... After hearing this i just cut the call... Coz there is no point of talking to such an illiterate lady... Lady.. Just go and google about amu... Uh will get the answer... But... Seriously! Amity... If you will appoint such illiterate people as your counsellor then one day.. You will experience downfall in market... Coz amu is ".. International brand"...

I have submitted my withdrawal letter on 26th october 2018. They aren't returning my security deposit. They're telling us that they will but aren't doing the necessary. Also they had lied to me before admission about the examination dates. The mentor"s behaviour towards my parent after i left.

The canteen food quality is not up to the mark and it smells awful. The sanitation level is also not acceptable. The canteen too smells. We are not satisfied even after paying the high fees. We request the food department to check and enquire about the situation and do something about it as soon as possible. It can have bad effects on the health on the students.

I am a serving defence personnel. I enrolled myself in amity university for mca course through online mode. My enrolment no is a[protected] (El) and my registered email id is [protected]@gmail.com. Before my admission in online course i talked to the amity counselor about recognition of online programs by ugc/deb. Amity counsellor told me that process for obtaining affiliation for online courses is in progress and will be obtained soon. After my first semester exams one of my friend told me that ugc/deb doesn’t recognise any online program yet. I called the amity support team and ask clarification on this matter, they told me that they cannot provide me relevant information and advised me to post a query on student portal. I posted my concern on amity student portal and wait for their response for more than 10 days. As i am a government employee and higher education qualification have a direct bearing on my departmental promotions and future career i was concerned about recognition of my course by ugc. As the admissions of other university through distance mode were open i called amity support team again and again and sent them more than 20 mails to seek clarification on this issue. I haven’t got any revert back on my emails. I posted my query on amity facebook page. On this they fell so offended and blocked my student portal wothout even listening my side and without even informing me about this issue. I contacted amity again and again to know why my student portal has been blocked. Amity support team told me that my profile is blocked without specifying any reason and advised me to mail my concern on email id [protected]@amity. Edu. I have sent them more than 15 emails and reminder but haven’t got any revert back. On 10 jan 19 one of the amity official called me and talked to me so rudely that your profile has been blocked as you have posted your concern on amity facebook page. I told him that sir i have followed proper channel but haven’t got any response from amity officials so i have posted this on page. He was least bothered about my problem even after elaborating to him that i am a government employee and university affiliation is important for us. He rudely told me that it was a decision of amity management. I have called support several time but they haven’t attended me i have also sent them mail to seek justice but no reply from its officials. I even requested them to refund the fee if they have decided me to through out of the college for such a silly reason, but they choose to not to respond.
In short, i was rusticated from university just for asking a valid question that i think i have the right to ask as a student who has invested so much time, effort and money for my studies. Such an authoritative approach by amity officials on this case was not expected.

I request you to look into the matter and help me to get justice.

I'm studying at amity university in computer science.
One of our faculty namely ms. Divya mishra
She hardly attends a class, she is our faculty in core subject
She attends 1, 2 classes in a month.
And when she attends a class, she is busy with her laptop
She shows no interest in teaching and frequently cancels the class.
We at amity university pay extremely high fees
They don't care about it at all.
She not even completed half of the syllabus.

I have done Masters In English from Amity University, Noida, Sec - 125. I am cleared in all the subjects, I got no back in any subject. Still, I am not able to get degree from the university. Only on securing 6.0 CGPA, a student is entitled to get degree. I have re-appeared for exams many times, but thats of no use. All my money was wasted. Its been 2 years, since I have completed my education but still I have no degree.Giving exams again and again doesnt make any diffrence.There was a time when I was depressed because of this. Apart from the fee, I have to give a huge amount of money for the re-appeared exams with a Fee of Rs1000/- Even the NET eligiblity cretieria is 5.5% but amity have their own rules.
My career has suffered a lot because of their useless policies and systems. There are many students like me, who have suffered. Parent's hard earned money got wasted, student's fututre suffered.Every parent cant afford fees again and again.

We need help.Kindly do the needful.

Amity University is a fraud, they give fake information at the time of admission and then misuse their authority and plays with students future. No safety provided in hostels and transportation services, a student died in Raipur, Chhattisgarh campus by lightning struck because of lack of safety equipments and they tried to hide it by throwing money. Canteen and mess services are also disgusting. Totaly a waste of money for trusting them for education.

According to the rules and regulation university had informed that 10000/- for hostel and 20000/- for college has been refunded at the time of pass out. But still the money didnt yet credited in our account. Still no reply is showing in amazon. Please reply over this number-[protected].

Last date of submission was 30th oct'17 which means we have time till 2359hrs. I tried submitting my project by doing all editing, answering viva questions at around 2345hrs to my surprise link was closed. There was no button to save and submit!!!
Open study is basically for those who do not have time and if they try to complete it on last minute you guys close the link!!
I was not expecting any date extension because of which i was doing it late night but you guys made it worst for me by simply replying on my query that you will have to extend your course!!
Why shall i pay extension fee?? Is it entirely my fault!! You guys want me to pay fee and extend course too?? I am not understanding this concept!!!
Some nbhola from amity give nonsense reply that it is closed, check link for extension!! Had it been the case of retest i would have understood but for project??
You guys are collecting money only!! Nothing more than that!!
