APC inverter
No response from customer care to the complaint raised. Defected/duplicate products with poor quality, inverter beeps continuously and not adjusting to power fluctuations, whereas others brands used by my neighbors/friends are working perfectly fine.
Waste of money and lot of inconvenience.

I booked apc ups online Amazon site on 04.10.2021. I received it on 10.10.2021. Unboxed and charged but shows low battery I waited for 12 hrs till shows the same. Apc ups backup too low

One month before i purchase one apc backups=600 in apc dealer coimbatore. I used apc backups-600 only for my d-link router device.
The ups given backup time less than 2 minutes. I complaint to my dealer. The dealer not take any response. After few days i complaint to apc and ref # (#[protected]. Till, time as, no one can reply or response. I never suggest to any one for buy. The product quality, support quality are very poor. I rated the product is below single star.

Extremely poor service support

I have a very bad experience to get my UPS serviced from APC. I lodged complaint on 2/11/15 at 2.30 hrs and a complaint no. is promptly read out to me!!. None of service agents in Bangalore called me and informed me about their arrival to attend the complaint call. I followed up with their customer service center on 3rd and 4th Nov 2015. They simply promised me that their agent will be in touch with me. Till now my service request call is not attended.
I strongly suggest next when you buy any products from APC, you should avoid as they do not provide service. In addition they quality of the products they supply is extremely of poor quality as my UPS failed within 1 year of supply and the battery within 6 months.

Until recently, I was a proud owner of APC UPS system.
My original APC battery failed in March and, to my bad luck, I decided to replace it with a “APC battery”.
I trusted and believed in APC and Schneider that I will get the best product and service support from these well-known brand owners.
My trouble started when I had to shift office and I had placed a service request on 25th April 2016 to install the UPS and battery at the new location. After several calls and emails, a service technician visited after 9 days, on 4th May and just installed the system, collected service charges and left.
Within 2 days, the system failed and I again registered a complaint on 6th May. Fortunately for me, another technician visited on 7th May and rectified.
Again on 16/05/2016 the system failed. I called up service support and the service adviser told me that the original request is still pending and he will arrange for a technician to visit at the earliest. I have been calling up support center every day and I am given assurances that someone will come today/tomorrow. I have been told it will take 48 hrs, 72 hrs, 72 working hrs etc. and no one turned up till now!!
I find the service support from APC/Schneider absolutely “WORST”. I expected far better support for such a critical equipment without which it is impossible to function, knowing the current power situation in Karnataka.
Anyone thinking of buying an APC product, beware!, you are taking a grave risk with APC!! - D P PILLAI

Hi,
I bought APC UPS solution from APC web site. They provided be APC UPS + VIA battery. This was delivered to my home. After few months, when i asked for service, the customer care center of APC says that, "since the battery is not made by APC, we cannot provide me the service." I have the invoice copy and it is clearly mentioned that the solution is provided by APC.
So dont go for APC. Poor customer service.

visit our home and pick the battery & after 2 day he come with battery my home and he say i charge the battery & work proper, and call close .but same problem in battery . pls slove my problem &change the battery

APC IS NOT RESPONDING
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have purchased the following units from HR Infotech, No.9, Sapthagiri Towers, 3rd Main, Chikka Adugodi, Bangalore-560029 on 21/06/2013 .(Invoice No.114)
1. APC 850 VA UPS SINE WAVE Product Serial No.14D901B1018720
2. Exide 100AH Battery Invared 350+, Product serial No.00931
We are using above units for our home application in Hassan. The devices we are using are as follows.
1. 15W Flurosent bulb-1 No.
2. W Flurosent bulb-1 No.
3. TV – 1 No.
4. Computer – 1 No.
after charging (Full), we are getting back up for 2 hours & 17 Minutes.
We have complained about this with our purchaser. They told us to go for APC support only. We have complained & the service people are informed us APC Inverter is worst & told us to go for Luminous 875 VA (We have purchased this for my friend house, which we are getting 16-20 hours backup).
When we informed the same thing to Mr.Raghavendra of HR Infotech, he has informed he cant take this product back, because the complaint is already lodged in APC. if we want to buy back & to get the new unit again we have to pay 3500/-. This is already second time we purchased in buy back condition. First time we lost 2500/-.
Can anyone help us to solve this issue. Can we get good support from APC.? How we can escape from like HR Infotech.? If I want to find out the problem, whom can I contact. Can we go / Suggest for Luminous instead APC?

Purchased an APC ups for my electronic device. The ups holding serial no. EB[protected] purchased on 29th september 2011 on invoice no.8754 from global net computers vasai west. I regret to inform you that i being a technicial person have noticed that your ups on power gives the phase terminal on the right hand of the socket in your ups but when it comes on backup due to power failure the phase terminal goes to left of the socket.According to my knowledge this change could damage my electronic device.Plz give me your expert advice or your assistance for the same. The APC UPS has not working since 20.08.13. Hence I would request you to depute your mechanic on the on the address given below and make an early repair.

Disgusting Product and Pathetic Service
Never Buy an APC Ups unless you are willing to experience nightmares
Dear All,
I had the most disgusting experience with APC. I purchased an APC UPS (Model: BR500CI-IN Back-Ups Rs 500; Serial Number: BB[protected] )in Secunderabad in February 2009. For about 5 months, the UPS worked y fine. After that began my woes. When I was in the middle of some important work, the UPS would start beeping though there’s power supply in the house. Before I could switch off the machine, the UPS would get discharged fully and all the data I was working on used to vanish.
After I lodged my complaints, Kasturi Reddy (the online customer care executive) has sent in their service engineers to replace the unit. To my surprise, I have noticed the engineers lacked proper training and had hardly any manners. They were carrying the replacement units by holding the cable (imagine the damage that can be done to the unit weighing about 5 KGs if handled this way). They were blunt and fit for nothing. Though I got my brand new unit replaced with a new one, this time my happiness lasted for just two days as the replaced unit also developed the same problem. In the middle of the night when I was working on something imp, the unit would get discharged though there’s intermittent power supply. When I wrote to the company, they said they would send a replacement again. To my utter disgust and displeasure the replaced unit (for the second time) also worked for just two days and gave in. On the whole, without looking into what the problem is, APC replaced my UPS twice (plz note the replaced units are new).
All my mails to the company to replace the defective model with a better one fell on the deaf ears of APC customer care in India. I have posted more than a dozen messages on the APC site. All they know is to blurt out the pre-written mails. If not or if you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by responding back through this incident. It would be my pleasure to ensure that your issue is quickly resolved! Thank you for choosing APC!” This is so sickening!
Before choosing APC, I used to have an Indian-made UPS that worked perfect for 4 years. I heard great things about APC and coughed up nearly Rs 2000 though I could have got the same type of Indian UPS for Rs 1300. Even after a dozen mails, my problem remains unsolved. The most pathetic thing is no one takes ownership in APC and they just suggest you to contact someone else. This is sheer negligence and we can only pity these people whose skin is so thick that it could put pachyderms to shame. I was willing to pay the extra money and swap my UPS for a better model but the company is not willing to do so. All they know is how to fleece innocent customers like us. These people are just shameless and never value their customers.
While I suggest you to spread the word about the pathetic customer service of APC, I request likeminded people to come together so that we can file a case against APC for not recalling the defective units. This is the only way we can bring them down on their knees and ensure that they do not go scot-free by launching defective UPS models in the market.

I purchased APC UPS (H1800SQ) on February 23, 2010, and it worked well only for a day or 2, and then started to develop a problem and stopped working. I lodged a complaint to Customer Care on February 28, 2010, and a person from the service center came to look into the problem on March 3, 2010, and told that there was a problem with the PCB board and will be replaced in 2 days' time, but did not. Then waiting for a day or 2, called the Customer Care service and they said that they will rectify the problem in a day, which did not happen, and this story is still continuing till date, and whenever, I call them, they tell that it will be rectified by today evening before 6 o'clock, and nobody turns up, and they make us wait on the phone for 15-20 minutes to give the reply. This is not a solution to lighting, but giving trouble and sleepless nights after coughing up a huge amount of money. The dealer now tells that this product's battery lasts only for 2 years, but sells them and the APC guys who are all involved are only behind money and nothing else. Please do not purchase any of APC's products.

Faulty UPS
Complaint No. C1-[protected]
I purchased a APC UPS (500 VA) Sl No. BB-[protected] on Apr 09. It went unserviceable on 21 Aug 09.
I lodged a complaint with the customer care and assure prompt action withing a day or two. After two days when inquired again as no one attended the fault. I got the same reply of attending the fault within a day or two. Today (27 Aug 09) again when I inquired, to my surprise I was told that no such complaint is lodged. Then they agreed after checking my name. Again assured, before 31 Aug (09 ?). Hope I will be able to switch on my PC at least on ONAM day.

APC BACK UPS — NO one is lodging a complaint
I have an APC UPS and it has got some problem with onoff switch and also some technical problem..I am trying to contact the service centre but whenever i call, i am given another number that no one recieves... I am calling and calling but no response...
Please help me sort out this problem...

I have purchased APC ups model no. BR 1100CI-IN and serial no. NB [protected] to run my UV spectrophotometer but a week after its purchase it went out of order due to poor battery back-up. Therefore, I made a complaint for the above condition of my ups to APC company. After accompanied by harsh words and long denial my ups was replaced with an old and repaired ups JB [protected] although I requested them to repair the same ups which I had but the company refused to do so. This replaced ups also worked more or less the same with same problem of battery back-up for which I am in regular in touch with the company to solve my problem permanently. However, I am not satisfied as the company is not at all intrested in lodging my complain and for which my work is suffering a lot. Besides this the company has started avoiding me although my ups is under warrenty period. I would be more than obliged if you would look into the matter seriously and urgently.

malfunctioning
i bought an APC UPS 3 months back but the day i bought it, it was working well and it worked well for next couple of days. but suddenly it started giving me problems, it wasn't giving backup to my pc for a single second. when i complained about it in the service center they asked me to bring the UPS to them and god knows what they did and told me that its fine now. but when i came back home and checked the UPS it was giving me the same problem...

BE 650 V-IN, serial no- BB[protected] and call no-C[protected]. the actual problem that i face is that when i switch on the ups the MCV of the entire house tends to fall and have been trying since so many days for registering the complaint but i dont get a proper response and to work without the ups doesnt seem to be safe so, kindly take that into consideration and inform me as early as possible.

After complaining several times my complained was noticed and it was replaced with an old ups(BR 1100CI-IN: JB [protected]) that too with harsh words. This ups also had the same problem and it was very annoying for me to complain again and again with out being noticed. Warranty Promised but never delivered - UPS (Uninterrupted Promises Supplied)
I have a APC UPS that I use at home.
Two weeks ago, I called their customer service center to report that my UPS was dead. [After a 20 minute wait to get the agent.]
They took in my complaint, and promised to fix it in 2 working days (at the most). I even volunteered to go to their office and get it repaired. They stated it's not necessary.
3 working days went by, nothing happened. One more follow up call after waiting for 20 minutes, and another promise that before end of day it will be done.
Call #3 a day later, and still nothing happens.
Call#4 (now a week later), and I find that (thanks to the customer support exec) the ticket is not actioned at all.
He promised to escalate it; and I try to get the GM's email id.
In such a co., I was lucky to get the email id for customer feedback.
A stinker of a message, followed by a computerized response stating that they will revert back.
Surprise, surprise I get a message stating that they will act on it and close it in 2 days.
They call me on the appointed day and apologise that they are out of stock and will fix it in 3 more days.
Two more days have gone by, and there's still no sign.
It's on principles that I fight. The time I have spent on this would not be worth the value of the fix they are going to provide.
It just goes to show how they take customers for a ride (with a series of lies) and most importantly a new definition for UPS - Uninterrupted Promises Supplied.

I have 2 ups in my home, the both 2 UPS are not working . on 30.12.08 i have registered my compliant thro Live Chat, ( Call Centr Exe ), that executive told wiht the chat, u will get the replacement within 2 days.
# 2 : - And also i start my second session with Live Chat, another executive, attend my compliant, i informed my Compliant Registeration no, the executive told shockly and asked me, u didn't get the replacement, ? we have update your request, for complete for priority for ur replacement.
on 02.01.09, i directly spoked with me, they are also the within two days u will get the replacement, but i didn't get the replacement at this day (12.01.09) .
Lots of persons attend our compliants, & nobody has give the right solutions,

So Dear Friends, pls dont purchase APC UPS for ur valuable Computers.

I have bought the APC 650 UPS, from the second day of my purchase i have the on/off switch problem in this model. The power switch got stuck in its soket when you press it to turn the ups on and wise versa. Now i have this other problem. Even the power is there still its keep on beeping and flashing the yellow light. It doesnt matter if i keep my pc on or off.
