: Closure Request and Resolution Needed for Demat Account [IN30429552077616) Charges Discrepancy

I am writing to address a pressing matter concerning my Demat account with Axis Direct, and I seek your immediate attention and resolution.
My Demat account details are as follows:

As a retired serviceman, I have not utilized my Demat account with Axis Direct, and recently I observed an unwarranted charge of Rs 183.3 in my account. Understanding the implications of maintenance charges, I promptly settled the outstanding amount by making a payment through Google Pay, as evidenced by the attached screenshot. Additionally, I provided the Axis Direct Razorpay payment gateway receipt, clearly indicating the payment of Rs 183.3.
Despite my efforts to rectify the situation, I have encountered resistance from your customer representative, who insists that the aforementioned amount remains pending. This has led to considerable frustration and confusion on my part, as I am eager to close my account with Axis Direct.
I have attached the necessary screenshots for your reference.
I kindly request your urgent intervention to review the payment records and facilitate the closure of my Demat account at the earliest. I believe in the fairness and transparency of Axis Direct and trust that this matter can be resolved promptly.
Should this issue persist without resolution, I am prepared to escalate my concerns to the higher authorities within Axis Direct and, if necessary, file a formal grievance with SEBI. I trust that such steps won't be required and that we can resolve this matter amicably.

Wrong transaction

I had purchased 200 shares of PNB @ 35.75/ on 29.09.2022 (including brokerage) in addition to 4900 shares previously held by me at an average cost of Rs. 44.26/- with realized loss of Rs. 13957.49/- . Next day i found the average cost of shares has gone down to Rs.39.79/- with realized loss of Rs. 35092.39/- which was shocking. i waited for few days and then contacted Axis direct help desk, an ERN was also generated (ERN[protected] but it was told that all average cost of shares has gone down to 39.79/- which is not possible. as per the records i have, i then emailed them and shared screenshots and transaction details downloaded from Axis direct, nothing has done yet.

Hi,
My debit card is going to expire soon and the communication address which is mentioned in account is wrong So I just called in axis bank customer care number to know that Can they issue my new card on my residential address and will they process my new card automatically or i hv to go in branch to collect the card. Then the customer care person offered me that I can apply your card online without telling that bank will issue that card in free of cost. She applied my card for that they are charging 850 rs and the same card bank provides in free of cost. I called them again two times but they are not ready to cancel my card...they are saying after applying once you can not cancel the cards.
Is this axis bank customer care policy?
Is this the way they help their customers?

Axis direct is a cheater company. They simply need customer money. There is only lady named Puja Pabrekar who is only lying customer and deduct customer money.

Axis direct person who gave me details is wrong due to loss 1.28 Lakhs
As information provide to me loss is only around 26000 but acutely loss is more than around 71000 for currency trade.
the person who gave me details is wrong.
also from 1st oct 2020 to 19 nov 2020 total loss as per dreamt statement is more than 1.28L is this information not provided to me by Ganesh.

Not transferring refund since 2 months
I processed an application to open a demat account in axis direct but it was unsuccessful. So i applied for refund of my payment 6555 rupees. But i am not getting it back. Axis direct making unreasonable delay or sometimes not wanted to pay back. Please take necessary action or advise me where to complaint on axis direct.

First of all i did not opt for this demat account and per my knowledge i have not signed any papers. I also don't think this account comes along with my salary account. I never received single message that i have this account. Axis direct has made all hidden and suddenly i saw my account was debited for demat amc. No proper communication from the guy who had come to open the salary account. Clearly its negligence from entire axis and fraudulent charges has been done with out customers knowledge. I am not responsible for this and i cant bear this hidden charges. I chased customer care guys several times and i was told by one of your customer care executive that once you guys close it i will get the refund. I had to send many emails to get it done and finally they say it cant be refunded. So please refund it asap as it's been dragged for so long and i don't have time to waste anymore replying to those guys for no reason. If you cant do it, escalate to the next level who can do it.. Or let me know if any one cant.. So that i can speak to my organisation and ask them not to opt for axis bank salary account. So that you guys never get a single account and i can withdraw mine too and look for a different service provider who doesn't have these kind of hidden charges.

Sir. My name is varghese johnson i had a credit card of axis bank card number [protected] in my name but sir i have never used it. Fact is bank it's self closed my credit card. Even i went to bank to pay annual fee s. But they told me not pay because it's closed down. My complaint is if its closed then why it is showing active in my cibil. If it's active then issue me new card urgently others wise closed my credit card in cibil record with using my name is showing on my cibil record it effects my credit able so it my urgently request to you pls sir remove my name from cibil record it is humble request to you.

cash not dispensed in atm but i was billed for the entire amount of rs. 20, 000/-
O5.11.2018 i inserted my atm in machine of bank of baroda at andheri (East). But as i did not get amount then i applied in atm of same bank at other atm for a sum of rs. 10, 000/-. There also i was not given any amount. Then i raised a complaint through my mobile phone and narrated the story. I was intimated that there were 2 transactions withdrawal of total rs. 30, 000/-. I was provided complaint no. [protected]. Soon after complaint the amount of rs. 10, 000/- was reversed into my account.
I even did not receive any message of withdrawal.
So far i was not communicated about progress in the matter.
Today i. E. On 12.11.2018 on making enquiry about my status of complaint i was told that the amount was shown as paid.
I was asked to check through cctv footage to the concerned bank.
I have raised my grievance. It is the duty of bank to verify and communicate me.
I even did not receive any message of withdrawal.
So far i was not communicated about progress in the matter.

I am a customer of axis bank since last 18 years, my contact no.[protected]. I applied for a housing loan rs 40, 00000/- lacks, against my property and salary.in the branch of velachery by pass road,, chennai, but the loan branch is maintained by kodambakkam branch, chennai opened on 22 june 2018. Already the bank authorities disbursed loan amount four part basis of rs. 35, 00000, now i have 95 % work completed for my housing construction, and i want the last part payment of rs.5, 00000/- disbursement requisition form submitted to the loan branch on day of 24th october, 2018. The technical person verified of my project on 30th oct. But he is a not a proper qualified person, he only visited the out side of my project. Now my constructions stopped last one week due to non payment of the loan amount by your bank. I approached the axis bank kodambakkam, chennai branch, staff somany time and i also calling via mobile, but till now no response from your bank side, now i suffered lot from my construction workers for not paying salary. To them and non paying materials so i request you kind take immediate action for my balance amount.

Hi,
I am trying to talk to the relationship exe for the past 2 days on [protected],
But nil response.
Usually more transaction happens on month 1st, on same day am unable to contact the axis helpline or reletionship exe or the branch desk number.
Axis working people are using so many tricks to charge/ fine/ penalty/ change policy for enjoying the customer's money.
Whenever i try the above number, it says 'will get back to shortly' but no call back.
Also if try the direct helpdesk number, most time it doesnt connects since it needs a special recharge ' commercial talking plan'.
Even when a government based or non-profit organizations are found that friendly and valuable customer service, why axis is very very poor in customer support inspite of being a profit based organization.

Axis direct is not providing services, and withdrawing login access ones i have started trading in account,
I raised complain on 17-Dec and got reply that documents were not received at Hyderabad office, its axis internal problem and till this date (26-Dec) my account is not active,
I called may time to customer care and didn’t received proper solution till this time.

consolidation charges without any transaction
I am holding Axis direct a/c:1570560, and there's no proper response about DP charges, as I requested many times with transaction reference but they are charging without giving me any reference of my transaction.
I have raised concerns on this main times but there's no attention again today they did the same deduction from my account.
I appreciate if you take necessary action on this issue.

nomination in demat account no.1831147 and trading account

Above account was opened through mr. Rajesh (Employee of branch of malviyanagar jaipur rajasthan and ifsc - utib0000626), at the time of opening the account, the column for nomination was kept blank by mistake of employee. Subsequently, nomination form with all required documents were handed over to mr. Rajesh on 02.01.18 for updation of nomination of my wife (Mrs madhu rani dhakerey). He is continusouly being chased on phone for above and i also visited at branch various times. But nomination is pending till date. I have also requested on customer care services through mail, but results is zero. Please matter may be enquired and take necessary action for compliance of my request.

I could not trade on the axis direct website as there was a technical issue.
When i called the customer service lady she said there was a problem in my network.
Whereas the sites of other demat banks were working.
I could not do the trade for almost 1.5 hours when the market was in its life time high.
Who will give a justification for this.
The demat charges and dp charges are above all banks still there is resolution provided.
I suffered a loss be coz of this issue.
Can they give a solution to my problem which i have faced.

Deduction of consolidated dp charges without intimation! On random basis! Basically we end up our complete profit in paying off biased banking charges! And we find ourself helpless!! Feels ridiculous! I request consumer forum to take some steps to protect interest of bank customers.
At least bank should inform there customer before hand, they simply deduct charges from our savings account!

closing demat and trading account

I am keep on chasing to close my demat and trading accounts from one month, i am not getting proper responses from call center and mail department.
I didn't request to add demat and trading account, they opened default with my salary account. Recently i came to know that those are active on my account then immediately i started chasing with axis direct from oct 2017 to close it.
They asked me to send closure form and self attested id proof, i sent as per their requirement.
But still no response.

I am a customer of axis bank since last 4 years, i applied for a demat account on 26th july 2017 in the koregaon park branch of pune. Its been 45 days but my account opening is still in process. During this time i have interacted with various people from sales person, operation person to other contacts they provided me. But still i see no response. The timing mentioned to me was 15-20 days maximum. Such kind of experiences make me regret the decision of giving my acccount in this bank.
Also i have raised a complaint against which i no response i have received.

debit order date not changed as requested - payment profile affected
Good day,
I will continue to send this mail until my payment profile for my direct axis loan has been corrected and proof of such sent to me. Please see mail sent in june 2017, advising that our salary date has been changed and that debit order should please be moved to 25th of every month – this was not done by direct axis, even though i received an e-mail confirming that my notification has been received.
However, now it reflects on my payment profile that i had an unpaid debit order – why is this??? Is there absolutely no recourse for the person/ persons at direct axis who did not do their due diligence in having this done timelously?
I will continue to send this mail until my payment profile for my direct axis loan has been corrected and proof of such sent to me. Please see mail sent in june 2017, advising that our salary date has been changed and that debit order should please be moved to 25th of every month – this was not done by direct axis, even though i received an e-mail confirming that my notification has been received.

I am manav lama. I have opened saving account at branch - wagholi nagar road, through employee ms silpa gavane.
I told her that i just wish to open simple saving account nothing else i want then he misguided me also took my extra documents and sign on documents of demat account and axis direct account forms. I really didn't know for what purpose she took my sign and documents. I asked her about that she didn't told me that it's for demat and axis account opening also not told what is use of that and annual charges and other charges of these account service.
After few days i got call from axis bank about demat account opening i told them clearly that i don't apply for it and o don't want any demat or axis direct account but still after few days demat and axis direct account activated and charged me 1725 inr
I got this msg from axis bank

I want all my debited ammount back in my account. I don't know how you will do.
I hope you will support me for get me all my debited amount back and closing my demat and axis direct account.

This is sreekanth reddy. I have taken salary account in 2012, along with axis salary bank account they have provided axis demat&trading account, i never activated demat account or
I never looked in to demat account, in 2016 from mu salary bank axs account they charged and deducted amount of around 750 rupees, now in 2017 they have done the same thing by deducting around 600 rupees from my salary bank account. I never used any demat account of axis but still bank is harassing me.
How can you cut amount as dp consolidated charges from my salary account without any intimation, even though i am not using or opened in axis.
I am using credit card of axis and salary bank account of axis as a good customer, if you do not return the charges which you have deducted from my salary account, i will not pay my credit card bill to your axis and also i will shift my salary account to some other bank.

I sold some of my stocks on 31st Jul 2017. I got message saying settlement of funds will be processed on 02nd Aug 2017. I have called customer care but they don't have any idea about that. Seriously I don't what should I do.

I had placed a limit order(Pending order for buying at a target price of 98) on mobile app for buying on 30 September, 16 for Nifty PE 8500 for 450 Units in the Morning. When i called the Customer care same day at around 2:15 PM to buy they said i cannot Buy since i dont have much credit. When i asked how is it Possible that there is no credit since i had just sold some derivatives yesterday. So the rep said she 'll check in the system and let me know. Once she checked i was given the reason as my yesterday's trade had not been settled, hence wont be able to buy today, and my account will get a credit of the yesterday's sale in my bank Account. Whereas had i received the exact reason that my pending order had been executed i would have easily squared off my position same day in profits. i complained regarding the same to the customer care who took more than 15 days to get back after hearing the recording. However when they called they said there is nothing they can do about it even after hearing the recording and accepting the fact that the rep gave a wrong reason for not being able to buy. I tried to explain if i was told that my position is triggered and order executed i would have easily been able to make good profit and exit. but today after waiting for their slow decision it seems i wasted my time and money. Moreover my funds remained blocked and today the value is almost close to Rs.2 per unit from 98. I need my money back for giving me a imaginative reason and not real reason despite calling the rep to place order.

HARRASSMENT FOR SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS

Iin spite of submission of all proof for address etc.to the AXIS DP the Axis Direct is insisting for same documents.
If both are agencies of same parent why cant their database share information and spare customer of harrasement.
Very poor customer support.
No body should open an account with AXIS DIRECT.

WRONGLY DEBITED AMOUNT

Dear Sirs,
Good Afternoon. Recently I have opened the demat account for Trading with Axis Bank , Annasalai Branch Chennai. One Ms. Ramya ([protected]) has called and some what explained the products , and said as I am Priority Customer , the bank is opening a free Demant Account for Trading. But now, it is seen that from my records, the Bank has debited an amount of Approx, 6500/- from my Axis Account. When I questioned them, they told along with their staff Mr. Vijay - [protected], the amount cannot be returned, as the account has been opened, and further he told me, that the amount details has been told to me . But with heavy confidence, I know that they had not told about this. And further they gave me documents of around 30 page book and asked me sign. And now they are telling I have signed the document where I assured to debit the amount of Rs. 6500/-. To my knowledge, I have not signed such document. So I doubt that the signature is not mine. By this, I really crying to get back the debited amount of Rs. 6500/- approx. immediately. Even by oversight , If I have signed, (it will not be), I am not interested with these people, so please arrange to refund.
Kindly let me know the status of query. But however, I would like to close my Demat Account immediately as I have not traded any scrips and refund my debited amount which has been purposely or wrongly debited.

One solution... you have to ask account opening form copy. Most of time they have did fraud by put Customer sign due lot of sign what to get from customers. So mistakenly Broker sign instead of customer. So you can make Complaint because of signature fraud. You can get all charges what they debited from your account. Its a possibility. If you found it, You are dominate. Sure.

delay in customers service cause heavy losses

I had applied for online platform for my demat account since I am having a demat in axis for the last three years,but due to delay in their service I have to suffer a huge loss and till today iti s not opened.If they cann't provide customer service then why they establish such company.I wouldhardly suggest anybody to open any type of account in Axis Bank or Axis Direct.Please donot allow such company to provide public service since they cann't.

Axisdirect is useless online trading service. I hv not been able to do any trading since switching from Geogit to Axisdirect in March 2011. Their site is not safe, it does not open with Norton antivirus, not complied.
No guidance from them. Better switch back to Geogit which was a good online trading site.

High brokerage charge
I purchased 50000 shares of a stock at 30 paisa per share. Total investment of Rs 15000. Axis Direct charged me brokerage of Rs 5000 on purchase of shares worth Rs 15000 only. They have a clause in their contract where 10 paisa per share is charged for all shares worth Rs 10 or less.
The person who helped me open the trading account never informed me about this. When I put a compalint against this, the bank said its there in the contract I signed. There are 60 pages in the contract and how can a normal person spot a clause like this if not informed by the bank.
When I sell the shares, they will again charge me the same rate. So for a 30 paisa share a end up paying 20 paisa as brokerage, which means 66%.
How can an investor make profit on his investments if he/she is charged do much. No other bank has such high rates.

I have the same problem.. The Axis direct with all its charges has robbed me for good.They not only charge maintenance fee, but 2.5% brokerage charge for both purchase and selling and add all other fancy charges. I some time feel its better to deposit the money in some bank.i would get better interest

worst bank i have ever seen in my life, Both banking service and also demat service and charges are highest among all the brokerage hosues of india.
i will get out from this bank within next 2 week, i don't want to listen name of this bank after that.

AXIS DIRECT TOO COST COMPARE TO OTHER SECURITIES.
Please read the documents carefully before opening an account.

I have faced the same problem. while opening account, the executive told me the brokerage in 40paisa/4paisa per share. after opening the account and after doing transaction for first 2 days, I realised they are deducting .5%/.05%...and minimum brokerage in rs.20 or 2.5% per transaction. so for intraday trading, one has to pay 5%... all these were never disclosed when opened the account... I am also planning to switch to some other broker...

This is what same happened to me, i planning to shift my trading account to zerodha., , all my profits going to brokerage, this is the worst bank i ever seen, first they told for 3 in 1 account the total charge will be 5555 but they charged me 6800, later i purchased their software they asked me to pay 1500 but they charged me 1800 and the software is so dumb. ...is any one using zerodha how is the brokerage charges in it, is it reasonable or its going to cost the same as axis.
I've been Using an Axis Direct Account for the Past 2 Years, they have Only 2 Flaws, High Brockerage Cost of 0.5% for Delivery, No BTST Facility Available, Options trading Brockerage per lot of rs 100 is too Expensive, they say that the AMC is rs 400 But I get Charged almost rs 1200, I've Started an Account with Nirmal Bang Securities, If all goes well, Will Deactivate my Axis Direct Account...
@ thararuday, First of all, Ur Investment Style is Ridiculous, Buying 5000 Shares of a penny Script, Second the Brockerage of rs 5000 is absolutely ridiculous, No one is Stupid to charge u 30% Brockerage, Max Ive been Charged for an Order of rs 20000 is around rs 150 Inclusive of 0.5% Brockerage, STT, Stamp Duty etc... Please dont blabber without any sense !!!
