I participated in the 21 day writing challenge wherein i was promised publishing of the book and royalty payment annually.
Its been more than a year those fraudsters haven't paid my promised payment.
They mentioned in the agreement that annually I'll get paid but it seems that fraud company keeps coming up with "new policies" to avoid the royalty payments of the published writers.
Even stopped giving reply to the emails.br...

These people are dishonest. Wont pay Royalties wont withdraw book. Wont answer emails. They caused me so much stress and upset, in January I had stroke, They need to be removed.Very Very Bad people

I had entered a 21-day writing challenge by Bookleaf publishing. They did release my book and promised that I would be getting all the royalties and payments for whosoever buys my book. I waited for a few months with no follow-up from their side, so I went ahead and emailed my publisher regarding the same. I got no response. It has been more than a year now. I have not received one single mail from them resolving my issue nor did i received my royalties which I was promised at the beginning of the challenge, and after my book was published.

I participated in a 21 days writing challenge and paid 49 gbp in the month of October. I have been waiting over 9 months to get my book published. The whole company is a fraud working on the believes of young writer and stealing their work.

The above company have taken my money to publish my work. A poetry book I received notification on 3rd Jan To approve this work. I have heard nothing I have written to them no response. I have just seen they are fraudulent. I am mortified. My poetry is precious and I want to be sure they cannot use it at all. Below is my communications.

I paid £50 to do a poetry book with this company. I got an email to approve my work in 4rd January heard nothing since, I have written No response.Greetings Writer,

I have been told that I will get my royalties yearly. It has been a year since my book came back and I haven’t gotten anything. Also, the lack of communication is really annoying .

They published my book and it was for sale on Amazon but it then disappeared without any explanation. I have now contacted them three times to ask them to relist it and they have given no satisfactory explanation as to why it is not there or when I can expect it back up. The original contract said I would receive royalties monthly and they now say it will be yearly. I would like my money back as I am no longer able to market my book.

I completed the #writeyourheartout poetry challenge back in May 2021, where I also included a copy of my own front and back cover which I attached to this email. When it was published in september, I was not consulted regarding the changes to the back cover prior to publishing, specifically the double ISBN on the author photo and in the bottom left, as well as the seemingly formatting colour error in the top left. I have attached these and labeled the month I submitted them as well. I sent multiple tickets following up on this issue, with my publishing consultant reaching out to say that it would be "rectified immediately". That was back in september 2021. Following that, the link I was sent to view/order my book initially could no longer be accessed and I was once again told that this was an internal issue and that it would be solved soon. At this point it was november 2021 and I finally received some emails regarding my book being published again which had a different link, but with the SAME ISSUES. Recently I checked amazon again and they once again removed the link to my book.

I have been sending emails and tickets weekly in hopes of finally getting an update as I have provided all the materials needed to complete this book in a timely manner. At this point I am very frustrated as has been over a year since I completed it, I have not received a free copy, my royalties from books purchased nor the changes of the back cover to my liking. I provided the covers myself to ensure that I would be satisfied with the graphics however they have yet to integrate them into my final copy by altering the colours and multiple ISBNs.

This lack of communication is unacceptable and the only way for me to get a response is by submitting a dozen tickets? As a result, I would like my refund and my book to be removed from all associated sites and I will find a more qualified publisher.

I entered a writing contest through this company, and have had nothing but trouble since. My submission was submitted on time and supposedly received, but the "leaderboard" for winners to be published closed before my submission was even reviewed! I know this because of the answer I got from a help ticket. Sadly, this is the last communication I ever received from them. I have submitted multiple other help tickets to find out what happened to my submission - was it reviewed in the next round? thrown away? published without my knowledge? There is no way to find out as they have blocked those submitting help tickets from reviewing their ticket status. They have not responded to my queries via their help desk or to their "info" email. Their social media has no way to direct message them. They recently sent me a generic email trying to get me to pay to publish with them, and I raised a help ticket based on that email, but they didn't respond to that either. Although it doesn't matter to me, I never received the promised "participation trophy" either. This whole operation feels like a scam, and I am sad that I wasted my money, but more concerned with the fact that they now have my IP and have ceased all communication with me.

They published my book in January 2022. People have purchased my book, but I have not received royalties. I messaged them a few times asking about royalties and when they would be paid to me, and I have had no responses back.
I entered a poetry write-a-thon with the company and paid to be part of it. They were responsive with all my questions during the publishing process, but now that they published it, I have heard nothing.

The write-a- thon I entered promises 100% of the royalties along with publication on numerous sites aside from Amazon and their own personal site, they also promised monthly reports on how my book was doing as well as royalty payouts monthly.

I would like to receive my royalty payments and have them follow through with the sites they said my book would be listed on, not just amazon.

I've recently reached out to the company to follow up on the status of my book. They responded to let me know that I have to pay them more money or they refuse to publish the book because so much time has passed. However, I emailed them twice, once in March and once in April to follow up and got zero replies.

These people will just take your money, ignore your emails, waste your time and then refuse to deliver on the final product.

It's a literal scam.

I completed the March 19-April 8th 2022 read a thon and the leaderboard has yet to be posted and finding out that previous read a thons have been done and they’ve never received their awards or having the leaderboard posted. I’m starting to feel like I was scammed and I’m disappointed.

I participated in the 21 days of Writing Challenge by paying INR 1999 and I submitted my 21 poems and then I asked them to take my 10 more poems they denied first then said you have to pay INR 2999, which I did, which includes (illustration services, book design services, editing and other services too). Now, comes the real challenge, the book cover design was okay, when it comes to illustration, formatting of the book and editing, they were worst than ever. Every time, I provide them with the correct way they did the same error, it is the responsibility of the publication to look at every detail, there is no page number, the editing is not up to the mark. Though I provided illustrations of all later on. When they sent me back the final draft, in the very same they did lots of errors and I through various mail asked them to correct which they ignored. Moreover, without informing the author they publish the book and even I got to know it through Flipkart. I was devastated to see that. The quality of the book seems to be like it is a carbon book and the illustrations are not placed properly, the font is not used appropriately. The publishing consultant doesn't reply to my e-mails.

I want to withdraw my book from them and I want my full refund. They don't value someone's work. Who gave them the right to do whatever they want, they can't, it's my work. The company is money minded.

Please, help me get my book withdrawn from this company and I want a refund.

BookLeaf Publishing advertised regarding a writeathon competition for a registration fee of Rs. 1500. The rules of the competition is we need to write 21 poems and submit. They mentioned that they will publish the poem as a book in delhi metro and amazon platforms or even if it is not selected for publishing, everyone who has registered with Rs. 1500 will get an award for submitting the poems. I paid the said amount and registered. I wrote the poems and submitted it. But there is no response from them inspite of sending several mails. I need any response regarding this or my money back.

I had registered for a readathon for INR 1500 as a 21-days reading challenge. It was mentioned that on the completion of the readathon they will distribute a trophy as well as a book set with a stand depending on the leaderboard. But there is no response even after getting the address. I can't raise any complaint. Also there is no update on the leaderboard.

They are scammers!!
My book have been published since October 2021. They refused to pay me the royalties and refund the fee for a marketing service that was suppose to be free. Is there a way to get back my publishing rights?!! They keep Making changes without warning me. Postponing stuff they owe as I am living with them. I want to cancel my contract with them I don't mind my book not being sold anymore. I want the to pay me what they owe me and never have to do business with them.

A scam company. They work with you until they getting all your intellectual property, let you sell the book and then keep your royalties. Do not work with them.

I participated in the 21 day writing challenge with bookleaf publishing. I entered into a legally binding agreement where they promised me that they will publish the book at the end of the challenge. I have fulfilled all the requirements, paid the money $50 AUD but I don’t receive replies from this company or their CEO. I tried reaching out to the supposed CEO of this publishing house and he chose to say that they will refund the money but stopped replying right after. They are in breach of the contract and the publishing consultants are disrespectful and keep asking for more money for doing what is on the agreed terms of the contract. I really need help with either getting my money back or getting my book published. I am genuinely so heartbroken at how they have handled this entire situation.
