Care Hospital Hitech City Complaints & Reviews

I have been going to Care hospital for a while and have spent a lot of money there in the last few months. Today I got to know that they offer 25% corporate discount for companies like Accenture and Infosys on each bill.

I got to know only because someone from Infosys asked. But because they had already billed, the person at the reception refused to do billing again with the discount.

It feels like a shoddy way of avoiding giving discounts. I have had similar issues at restaurants-I have often had them create a new bill after incorporating the discount and they have done so. The hospital, however, refused to bill again with the discount. I don't think this was a case of not being able to revert-more o[censored]nwillingness to bear an inconvenience. Their is no attempt to create awareness or even a notice to ask about corporate discounts before billing.

I feel that that the customer is being punished for a small oversight, and the hospital is happy for an excuse to not provide the discount. I think this is ethically incorrect though.

I went to care hospitals hitech city with a medical complaint as outpatient and was advised to take multiple tests to undergo a procedure. Before the actual procedure, anesthesia was required to be given and i was charged unnecessary amounts of money related to consultation charges and again for procedure charges. When i disputed this before billing, the staff themself accepted that this is the training they are receiving, to bill customers for everything possible.

I was asked to take covid test which is understandable, then when it came clear i was asked to take hrct test which was completely unnecessary. Then i was asked to pay consultation for showing my reports to a doctor before the colonoscopy procedure. In other words, i pay the doctor separately for talking to him in his cabin, then i pay the hospital again for undergoing said procedure when already the whole thing was supposed to be covered in procedure charges.

I am outraged by how much money hospitals are squeezing out of sick and ailing patients, who work very hard to save some money and raise children, especially during difficult covid times. These charges are unethical for a hospital as reputed as care.

I am loyal to care, have visited doctors here for several years for all family member, i even had my first baby here. But this treatment of moneyminded behaviour in the wake of financially difficult times is unacceptable. Someone has to raise their voice and i am sure people have got into huge debts just paying these bills.

Can someone please provide redressal of this ongoing grief?
