I was rightly stopping at bazzar street at saidapet junction but Mr munirathinam the traffic police officer came from somewhere like a movie scene and created a drama stating that I am standing wrong side and took photo of me stating that I had rides vehicle with mobile but my mobile was in front packet in photo too and spoke bad words about me and my family and stated that he will do this and I can complaint him to any of his dad. Such an officer is threat to us and he never saw his duty as we can see lot of traffic in this lane and these officers are to be suspended

The right turn from New Colony 6th cross street (one that goes to municipality offices) in GST road is stoped now causing utmost difficulty in crossing over GST from West Chromepet to East Chromepet and the assumption that it is for people going to towards Tambaram is incorrect. Now people going from West to East have to go all the way till Thiruneermalai bridge, take a 'U' turn on the top there to go from West to East. This causes additional load on already congested and bottlenecked strech of GST between Police Station and Vaishnava Collage gate and in top of Thiruneermalai flyover.

This inefficient move will only worsen the already bad situation in GST strech between Chromepet Bus stand and Pallavaram.

The right turn (and the 'U' turn) before the Chromepet Bus stand from New colony to GST road is a must - regulating this with appropriate signal timing and sequencing of the turns and clearing vehicles parked near the turn in the Chromepet -Tambaram side of the GST road is the way forward as even (in future) buses can do a 'U' turn here.

The traffic jam is in the pallavaram-Tambaram way of GST road is due to Saravana stores and other shops and parking of vehicles on the road before them and the construction work going on near the bus stand and not because of the important right turn...

Sir my bike has been hit by another bike which is being park beside my building, and he refuse to pay money for repair and damage

Sir, lot of two wheelers and four wheelers are parked their vechiles on the road gangai nagar 5th main road velachery. Made several complaints but no proper action has been taken. If any 4 wheeler is coming opposite direction very difficult to drive car on this road

Sir, I have been penalised by chennai city traffic police for stop line violation today. I was in my car on a signal when the vehicle behind me was constantly honking as the vehicle need to take a free left turn. So I had moved a little forward however didn’t violate the stop line. A policeman came forward and took a photo of my vehicle and after 12 hours they raise a challan under my name for spot fine. There were several other vehicles that violated the stop line however they were let free but I did not violate the stop line yet penalised. Please find the challan attached where there is no evidence of stop line violation.

As I was going to ecr side to drop my friend the traffic police officer stopped and said "the pillion isn't wearing helmet" So then I said that i was coming here to drop only sir but i have license and rc book and insurance. Even though they demanded me a amount of 1000 rs. I was shocked then I clearly explained and they didn't care and took away the license. I was cruelly tortured to pay the fine and i have paid due to the given torture. Please waive off the fine

A car with the registration no TN 11 E 1890 - Hyundai i 20 is parked since few months Opp to the Kola Perumal School main entrance.

This is creating hindrance to the school students also.
So i request the authorities remove the car at the earliest.

Simply they' (Chennai traffic police) issued challan for 5000/- not to holding a permanent licence while carrying the LMV and MCWG LLR. I wasn't aware of the section 3 MV act, i was told by RTO (Chennai South) that the LLR can be carried out while driving within the city until you get the permanent licence. Sir/Madam, The road from Tidel park to Thoraipakkam signal is a night mare during morning and evening till 9 am. Vehicles take left turn, right turn from service road to main road causing huge traffic congestion in front of NEXA show room, Skoda show room. There are no specific places for U Turn, vehicles take U turn where ever they want. There is no penalty imposed for traffic violation. Thoraipakkam signal: Will be "Silk board junction" in Bangalore very soon.
Request traffic regulation and monitoring to make the roads safer to travel. The situation is going to go worst after Metro construction starts.

As i was dropping my wife in chennai alandur metro railway station, i was accused of driving rashly, wrong side and driving without license. I had license in my mobile but before showing it, the impatient officer charged me 1600rs. This is looting from the public, with a small child on my side, they know that i can't argue for a long time nor go the police station or to the mobile court. so they took advantage of my situation and mentally tortured me to pay the amount, which i paid helplessly with pain and anger.
i kindly request you to take action on the officer R.Sam Sundar S1 mount, south district, greater chennai Traffic police. And i also request to refund my amount of 1600rs.

There are no pedestrian signals at any signals in Chennai.

Old people are unable to cross the road

Main reason for traffic accidents is because of the drivers not giving way to pedestrians

I was noticing from past 10 days RIGHT turn signals are not working, and the vehicle's coming towards navalur are coming in high speed.

Please do the needful, It is very dangerous during night time

I am the resident of Pallikaranai, The Signal That lies in the Medavakkam to Velachery Road Just Before the Balaji Dental College is very worst.
Morning During School Hours Every one taking their own decision to Breach the signal.
I Kindly Request to Post one Traffic Police to be present in the morning for 1hr 8 to 9 AM.
Also request to place Barricade In the Kamakoti Nagar Road joining the medavakkam road.
Please consider this request at the earliest. Many School going parents are struggling.

On 7th Jul 2022 when I was traveling back home from the office by 7:30 PM from Taramani, There is a road called VV Koil Street linking Tramani Link road to CSIR Road, Which is a one way and the end at CSIR Road is bottlenecked by Police with cement barriers even though vehicles from CSIR Road push their way into VV Koil Street in that bottleneck One way. This leads to a huge jam for the right way vehicles to pass through. Yesterday on 7th Jul, I went on in the right way and had a close call with a car registered in the number TN11AU9003 Desire Tour which was approaching in the wrong way. After a complete halt, I pointed the driver to the one-way no-turn board and asked them to return back, go through the CSIR road. There were some ruthless replies and I stood on the spot. The Co-Passenger even dressed in the same as the driver (White and white) seems to be a cab driver too. Both driver and co-passenger seem to be in their Mid to late twenties. Now the Co-Passenger got down from his vehicle and started threatening to move away, asked if I am the police and what is my job to highlight to him that he is coming in the wrong way, and he approached me in a harsh way threatening to beat me up if I didn't move. To avoid the further commotion. I didn't argue much but took the crooked gap between the Cement blocks and the Car and left the scene, after noting down their Vehicle's registered number. Would like to complain about the driver for rushing through the wrong way and the Co-Passenger for his misbehavior. Also requesting Chennai Traffic Police to assign a person to monitor the way from vehicles crossing in the wrong way.

There are 2 abandoned vehicles parked in my street for more than 1 month, Nobody seems to have come to take the vehicle. One is Pink color Scooty and the other one is white Duo. Please help remove them from our streets.

Car and bike parked in the street difficult to other vehicles to move in this 20 ft road due to car parked regularly .

I was driving in Nungambakkam High Road on 2/06/2022 when a white car with the yellow colour number plate PY 01 CS 3368 kept honking and overtaking other vehicles dangerously. The man showed clear signs of inebriation, he used Tamil bad words and insulted me as a ### while I was minding my own business. He drive at such a high speed in a very crowded road and risked the lives of several people. Please reprimand him and punish him accordingly.

Abandoned Car Parking
I am a resident P V KOIL STREET 8TH LANE ROYAPURAM, Chennnai 600013 An abandoned car / accident ridden, has been parked opposite to my house over a year. Complaints to Corporation of Chennai have pointing to approach, Royapuram Traffic police station and no action has been taken. The place is getting converted to a dump yard breeding mosquitos. . Request the concerned authorities to take necessary action.

That car most of the time parked in that place only.

That car owner used police influences

He is not working anyware but in front and back side of the car he has written like press.

If police will ask about that car to car owner he is going to tell some lie at the time.
After that car is in same place.

Few people's take liquor at the night time behind that car

They are shouted

We can't able sleep at the night time.

Kindly resolve this issue permanently

Sir, for the past 5 days traffic signal at kaiveli, madipakkam turning road is not working and also traffic police not available. It is becoming very big problem to cross the road. People do it in a dangerous ways, pl rectify the same at the earliest, tq

And also a traffic police required at Vijay nagar turning even till 10 pm (since morning alone one traffic police is present, ) it's also a dangerous place and accidents prone area.

I received a call from the Traffic Police Department asking me to pay a fine of 1200 for 12 seeming violations of my bike riding. When asked about this they responded that these are violations are captured by their automated cameras for signal violations. I travel everyday by the same route to drop my School going kids in the bumpy road taking a U-turn for school diversion route. And I am not sure what they call as violation.

Hello sir, Kindly take action against the crane driver who drove the crane recklessely and speedy around 21.30 hrs near dasa prakash hotel. He drove very fastly. No traffic police person present there on 1/5/22 sunday. I didnt see the crane number but i saw its written in the crane that Vivasayi magan Sticker. May be if you check the CCTV in the area you can identify him and pls take action against him for driving at high speed with non prescribed time.

People recklessly driving as there is no fine for over speed, wrong route driving, over taking, and signal jumping. Today my mother got hit by over speed and recklessly driving in wrong route by the vehicle. Likewise many mothers are getting hit by over speed and wrong route driving people. My humble request to curb this issue with installing cameras in signals. Pls bring people in disciplined driving and which will bring discipline in their life too. There is no speed breakers / barigades in residential area hence people are driving over speed.

Today while taking a u turn the traffic light was still green and as taking the turn mid way turned orange, without having a countdown to time to show the driver HOW is the driver expected to know how much time is left for the signal to change. We were charged a fine at shollingnalur junction for no fault. First install proper signals without keeping the driver in doubt and guess work. Then let's talk about fines. U even charge a fine if we try to explain to the cops when this is supposed to be a democratic free country

I had just received a message from E-Vahan @6.54pm (23.03.2022) stating "A challan TN[protected] issued against TN07CR1363. The total challan amount is 200. The above vehicle number is my car and it is parked in my home only and I have not used anywhere outside for the past 48 hours. I think I have received this challan wrongly or someone might use this number wrongly. Kindly reverse back this challan.

He drove very arroganthly and coming to hit my vehicle by moving here and there near gudivancherry (opp to anjappar hotel)

Sir, I am Senior Citizen residing at No.1, Damodaran Street, Chetpet, Chennai - 600031. I was in the habit of walking on Spurtank Road. However since the lockdown two wheelers are always driving on the wrong side of the road. With the footpath full of encroachments I had four near miss hits by a two wheeler and auto. Most of the vehicles come from the roundabout at Casa Major Road / Spurtank Road junction to get into Dr Santhosam Road or into T V Naidu Street (for Shree Mithai). Instead of making a U turn at Shree Mithai cutting they prefer to drive on the wrong side of the road. This happens also beyond Chittibabu Street for vehicles coming to Sankaralayam or even as far as Lamech Avenue. There is a police station exactly at the Halls Road roundabout and it should be feasible for them to ensure that vehicles do not go on the wrong side of the road. Please help old people like me to walk freely on the road without the danger of being knocked down.

As this is a dead end, most of the people park their vehicle and go away to their native.today I saw that a person came parked in our lane and happily he left to central railway station.
I kindly request you to look into this matter and remove all unwanted vehicles parked in our lane.

In our locality Erukkanchery G N T Road signal Ethirajswamy road signal (No. 73/201, Erukkanchery )parking a car on the platform or footpath and damaged the platform and public nuisance from the shop owner ( Ponmudi) for past 10 days standing in same place. Please take appropriate action.

I came to Chennai on 12th Jan 2022 for some visa related things. I was staying in Welcom By ITC on Cathedral Road. In the evening, decided to go for a quick drive towards Marina beach. I took U turn from the hotel, took the flyover towards Marina. After getting down from the flyover, there is a traffic light, which was orange, and I drove past that. I'm pretty sure even by the time I crossed to the other side of the junction, it was orange.

Soon after, 3 traffic cops pulled me over and said I jumped the light. I said, it was orange, they agreed but said, it has to be green only(then don't know what is the meaning of orange). Because of language challenges(I'm non-Tamil speaking) and no intention to have an argument with them. So, I was ready to pay fine and move on.

But they soon insisted that they'll help me and just pay Rs 800 and go. Again because of their insistent and unable to communicate properly using English, I just had to give them Rs 800 to get away from that situation.

Hope someone takes note. This is on 12th Jan 2022 around 5:45pm and location was mentioned above.
