Dear Respective team,
Our 10 months old son has eye cancer his treatment going on in Delhi AIIMS so that we are living in Gautam nagar delhi for his treatment, team our concern is our landlord bothering us for water supply we are living here from 20 April 2022 and still we are fighting with him for water supply at time of rent he calls us many time for advance rent but as we asked for water then he excuses and avoided, we are trouble pls help us we can't fight with him on daily bases we are here for child treatment 🙏

Landlord giving deducted deposit

I have been staying in the rented flat and given 10000 deposit for security
While vacating flat i gave notice to him 5 days before vacating still he demanded for 1 month rent after vacating
I paid
Due to corona period we were not able to stay in that flat and it went messy
But after returning we cleaned it up
Plumbing issues were there from the start and paint were not renewed when we came in that flat for the first time
While asking for the deposit he deducted amount for plumbing, cleaning, painting and furniture
We kept asking him for 2 months regarding deposit very calmly but he did not respond
Below are the expenses he deducted from deposit amount given as 50000
Expenses for painting 40000 kitchen trolley rs 18000 repairs plumbing @ 9000 etc
Total 67000/ 2
Rs 33500 would be deducted frm your deposit

Room was vacated almost 1 year ago. I chased for deposits refund but owner said it’s covid time we don’t have money due to vacant rooms, so will refund amount once we get other tenant.
I have come back to That owner after 1 year and he has given that room to some one else.
Original agreement is with me.

Refund of Rent & Security Deposit

There was a small quarrel between us and the security so the landlord asked us to vacate the house by 18th of Feb 2021 and we have accepted and got ready to shift to the new premises. Today i.e., on 16th Feb 2021 when we are calling to give back us the rent which we have paid for this month of Rs.15, 750/- and to return back our security deposit of Rs.30, 000/- he is lifting the calls and asking my husband to call after sometime and when my husband is calling after one hour the landlord is not taking the calls.
Please let us know what to do and we want you all to take action against the landlord and the security guard.

security deposit is not returning

We had rented a house in bangalore pass several years.in jan'2017, i lost my better half in the accident, while i was in the usa doing my mba and i came to see him but didn't go to bangalore to close the house. However, my brother and friends went and emptied the place and also the handover the key in may'17. She had written in an agreement that key is a handover, but the deposit will settle later. By all this mean, we trusted her and waited for her to return the deposit. It's going to be a year she doesn't get a response; she does not pick up my call either my friend calls. Once in a blue moon she texts and say she will pay in the month time but it just passes by, but there is no indication. Once i got to speak with her in nov'17, she was so rude to me.
Total deposit is rs.700, 000.00, but she returned rs.100, 000.00 and balance rs.600, 000.00. Can someone please help me i do not have a job and still doing my study. Note: i have an original agreement with me.

Non refund of security deposit & mental agony

Mr. V.Venkat Reddy is the Owner of the House his mobile No. [protected] and the address 13-1-57/13/36A Avanthi Nagar Thota Mothi Nagar Sanathnagar Hyderabad.
We have occupied the portion & resided just 4 months, In the 2nd week of Jun'13, he demanded us to vacate the house. When we asked for the reason, he told that you're not keeping the house clean. This was not the genuine reason for vacating.
I was ready to vacate the house but he should return my (2) months advance of Rs. 11,000/-. Since I need to again arrange for Transport & Labour for shifting of the items,. which I have incurred around 8000/- and also I have joined my kid to that nearby school, for which I have paid admission fee & Tution fee which was around 6,000/-. Not paying tax

hello,
we are residing in noida on rent. Our landlord is having so many properties in delhi-NCR. He is having 2 three manjila kothis in noida and 3 kothi in delhi. And he is charging a lot of amount from tenants. And not accepts cheque from all the tenants. He asks for cash only to save the tax.
Please let me know how to compalint against that guy.

My name is Uma N. We shifted from TamilNadu to Karnataka (Bangalore, Electronic City Phase II) since i got a job in a IT Company. We got accomodated (10/09/2010) in a house at Katta Subramaniam Layout. (No.117, APSARA, Vindhya homes, Shantipura, Huskur Post, Bangalore - 99). The house owner's name is Saravana Kumar. It was a 2BHK house and the rent was 4500.00 with an advance of Rs. 20000.00.
After one week of accomodation they showed us a rental agreement consisting of fifteeen rules and regulations. There were some unacceptable.
1. If any relatives are about to visit us we should inform the house owner before two days.
2. If any extra person stays in home for more than one week Rs.100 has to be paid every day.
3. Usage of hot drinks not allowed inside the premises.
4. Nothing even chappal stand should not be kept on the corridor.
So every day the lady comes upstair and disturb us and kept on ordering. That was a torture actually.
We had shifted the house on 20.10.2010. There were some scrathes in the wall because of the Sofa set. The house owner wanted that to be corrected which we also accepted.
But on the day of settlement they wanted an amount of Rs. 1000 to touch up the house.
The items required was
Tractor Emulsion paint - 15 litres. and other accessories. When enquired in the paint shop they told that for the same touch up only 2 litres is enough.
Still we spoke to the house owner and paid for 4 litres.
This was such a bad experience that i has ever had.

I am girl staying in a PG in Gurgaon paying Rs. 5500 as rent and have deposited Rs. 5, 000 as security. Last week my PG owner painted my room without my permission and shifted my stuff without my consent and when I seeked an explanation from him he started shouting at me. He then painted the almirah and asked not to put anything in it before 24 hrs but, I was having office the other day so I after confirming that the almirah is well dried put some of my valuable stuff in it (as he does not allow us to lock our rooms) and went to the office. In my absence he again check the almirah and when found it locked he called me and asked me to vacate the pg by the evening (he literally ordered me to vacate and refused to answer when I called back), I suffered whole day from big tension. When I came back from the office I intimated him that he should at least give me 15 day notice period to vacate, he agreed on the ground that he will deduct Rs. 1000 from my security. And, now he is very adamant for deducting my security just for putting my stuff into the almirah. Beside this he also giving me mental tension and making my stay even worse. This is not the case with me only but happens to most of the girls so please help. What action I should take against him? Is there any law or rule notified by the govt for the safety of girls who stays in the PG it is not a specific request but, Iam writing this in general for all the girls in my PG.
His PG is not even authorised and he is earning in lakhs per month not paying even single rupee to the govt. as TAX.

This is very common practice in Whitefield, Bengaluru. I am also cheated for the same security depposit by one so called landlord Krishnappa for Rs.70, 000/- at Sai Layout, Behind Satya Sai Baba General Hospital, Whitefield road who has built unauthorised houses.
Karnataka government should take very strict action against these cheaters and fraud practices.

as they are over charging from every rented family in that home every year. they are charging 20% extra AFTER every year completes.and the main thing is this they are not showing...

The Landlords of Delhi are notoriously famous for not obeying supreme court orders on Rent Act.
They Charge rent on their Whims and fancies ignoring Approved Government rent rates.
The C-558/A Lower Ground Floor in J.V.T.S. Garden, Chattarpur Extension is one such example.
Khasra No. is 963/1, Road No. 5. All unauthorized area.
Landlord is Raj Pal Singh H/O Veerawati.
They are both epitome of greed & dishonesty, apart from being compulsive liars.
With no Almira in Bedrooms and severe leakage/ seepage in all walls.
Rent Charged is an exorbitant Rs. 11000 per month for a place that was previously used for Charged Car parkings.
All Prospective tenants are hereby forewarned to avoid the C-558/A Lower Ground Floor and all properties of Raj Pal Singh (C-64, J. V. T. S. Garden, Chattarpur Extension) to save yourselves o[censored]nwanted stress.
Raj Pal Singh has at least 4 properties in his and several in the name of his Kith and Kin.
