The Landlords of Delhi are notoriously famous for not obeying supreme court orders on Rent Act.
They Charge rent on their Whims and fancies ignoring Approved Government rent rates.

The C-558/A Lower Ground Floor in J.V.T.S. Garden, Chattarpur Extension is one such example.
Khasra No. is 963/1, Road No. 5. All unauthorized area.

Landlord is Raj Pal Singh H/O Veerawati.
They are both epitome of greed & dishonesty, apart from being compulsive liars.
With no Almira in Bedrooms and severe leakage/ seepage in all walls.

Rent Charged is an exorbitant Rs. 11000 per month for a place that was previously used for Charged Car parkings.
All Prospective tenants are hereby forewarned to avoid the C-558/A Lower Ground Floor and all properties of Raj Pal Singh (C-64, J. V. T. S. Garden, Chattarpur Extension) to save yourselves o[censored]nwanted stress.

Raj Pal Singh has at least 4 properties in his and several in the name of his Kith and Kin.

Completely depressed on the activity of the house owner

I am Subhajit Majumder and my rented house address is 2/6 N.K.Chatterjee Lane.Kolkata-35.This house was rented as my father Ranjit Kumar Majumder before 32 years.On 2010, I have shifted to 31/14 Motilal Mullick Lane.Kolkata-35 and still we wanted to pay rent room to my landlord Mr Dipak Kumar Chatterjee.But, he denied to accept rent.We made a courrier to him by which we give full amount of rent.But, he was absent in his room.so, we did not give rent amount.But, today he forcefully entered our room with local politician and threaten if we make a complaint to Police station, he did not stay in my current house.I am not in India now.My father is senior citizen.Pls help.

I am Aditya Nanavati and i had rented a house in vadodara. Although the duration of the leaase was for a year but it was clearly mentioned that i can leave the house giving one month prior notice.I gave my landlord notice period of 2months and than vacated the house on his assurance that the deposit would be paid after deducting few expenses.Its been almost 3months now and he is not ready to pay back the deposit back and he also took one month advance rent from us.Now after repeated requests his answer is that i am lossing my interest over the investment that i made on this property.
Someone please help us coz now all he says upon asking is i wont give back the deposit at all.should we lodge a police complaint or take him to consumer court??

I booked a room in GokulKas apartments, Mahindra city, chennai on 29-July-2015 evening to join the room from 01-Aug-2015.
The in-charge asked me to pay 500INR as a pre-booking advance and denied when I asked him to provide me a payment receipt.

On 31-July-2015 morning, I rang the in-charge and asked if he will return the advance if I do not move in and explained him that I have an option of moving in to other place with my friends. He said he will return the advance.

I took an hour to decide on few things and rang him up again to inform that I will move in as he is not returning the advance amount. He screamed that I will neither get the room nor advance amount in a very rude tone, later hanged the call while i was still speaking to him.

How do i expose such people to government to teach them a lesson?

I am girl staying in a PG in Gurgaon paying Rs. 5500 as rent and have deposited Rs. 5, 000 as security. Last week my PG owner painted my room without my permission and shifted my stuff without my consent and when I seeked an explanation from him he started shouting at me. He then painted the almirah and asked not to put anything in it before 24 hrs but, I was having office the other day so I after confirming that the almirah is well dried put some of my valuable stuff in it (as he does not allow us to lock our rooms) and went to the office. In my absence he again check the almirah and when found it locked he called me and asked me to vacate the pg by the evening (he literally ordered me to vacate and refused to answer when I called back), I suffered whole day from big tension. When I came back from the office I intimated him that he should at least give me 15 day notice period to vacate, he agreed on the ground that he will deduct Rs. 1000 from my security. And, now he is very adamant for deducting my security just for putting my stuff into the almirah. Beside this he also giving me mental tension and making my stay even worse. This is not the case with me only but happens to most of the girls so please help. What action I should take against him? Is there any law or rule notified by the govt for the safety of girls who stays in the PG it is not a specific request but, Iam writing this in general for all the girls in my PG.
His PG is not even authorised and he is earning in lakhs per month not paying even single rupee to the govt. as TAX.

And guys please beware also of 58/1 Kalu Sarai, Hauz Khas, New Delhi -16.
The landlord's name is Nizam Khan.

This is very common practice in Whitefield, Bengaluru. I am also cheated for the same security depposit by one so called landlord Krishnappa for Rs.70, 000/- at Sai Layout, Behind Satya Sai Baba General Hospital, Whitefield road who has built unauthorised houses.
Karnataka government should take very strict action against these cheaters and fraud practices.
