I am Rahul From Delhi.
I Applied For A Home Loan Of Rs. 25 Lacs. on Dec.10-Dec-2010 From Deutsche Postbank Home Finance Ltd. Sufderjung Branch File Login No. 252735 And They Take my all Required Document and A Cheque of Rs. 11530 as a Processing Fee. and tell that if Loan can't sanction then Rs. 530 were Deducted as Document Charges and Balance Amount will be Refund.
But after One Month...

The Deutsche Postbank Home Finance Ltd from which I availed a home loan 2 years back (File # HYB - 3053), is currently charging 11.75%.
When a request was made to reset the rates as the rates have come down and its also a floating rate, an offer has been been made to reset the rate but comes with processing fees for the same.This beats the very fundamental of having a floating rate loan.

Home Loan Interest Rates not reduced
Respected sir, the bank is not reducing the interest rates on my home loan taken from the bank while RBI has reduced the rates many times in steps since Nov, 08.Whenever the rates were increased by RBI the bank immediately increased the interest rates.But it is not following the RBI when it is coming to reduction of interest rates. when I took the loan in Mar'07 the rate of interest was 9.5 but later it was increased to 12.25 in Aug'08....
