Hi Sir/ Madam,

This saga is for certain years now. As the small village of Chinchani near Tarapur in Dahanu taluka of Thane district has been facing electricity problems.
The electric cuts in the village are almost 20-22 hours a day which is much higher than usually expected and also, the authorities bluntly say to still expect higher cuts.

Is Privatization a synonymous of price hiking? It is perfectly true for BSES because after becoming the power supplier in delhi per unit cost is hiked several times instead of good service.

No Electricity in Shalimar Garden Extension 2 Sahibabad

I am resident of Shalimar Garden Extension 2, Sahibabad UP.

I would like to draw your attention on the fact that we are facing an extreme problem with Electricty Supply here. This happens every summer when electricity is most needed.

Non-receipt of Bill

My consumer No.[protected]. Usually I receive my electricity bill between last week of the month and first week of the following month. However, this month (i.e. bill for Jul 09) has NOT yet been received by me despite the fact that it is already 11 Aug 09.

Broken High Tension line

In H.I.G.Duplex Colony, ChanderNagar, Distt.Ghaziabad, the power supply problem is very acute. We do not get electric supply for more than 12 hrs a day; even then there are huge fluctuations and many electric household gadgets have been damaged. There is no proper earthing in the transformer.
