I have provided my shoes for the cleaning process and the whole shoes were damage and colours was faded out and broken

My name is ameya patkar and i am a new yorker who has just moved to mumbai recently. I was a patron of the german laundry till a few weeks ago - but have realized that your service is lousy and you have incompetent people working at your store in mahim.

Case in point -
About two weeks ago, i delivered two very expensive comforters to your laundry store in the mahim. An extremely incompetent lady took both the comforters and threw one of them on the ground while checking for stains on it. Is that your procedure - throw clothes and blanjkets on the ground. Appalling at the least. Very non chalantly she realized the error she had made and then picked it up and proceeded to check the other blanket. However the second time around she did not make the same mistake she made with the first comforter. All this in front of my very own eyes.

I was livid. I called back and asked if that was the procedure with all the clothes you receive - infact i called up other german laundry locations and vivited two and they all vehemently and collectively reiterated to me that there are massive red baskets in which they put the clothes and comforters to be dry cleaned or washed. They are never put on the floor. I even saw the massive red baskets. Never on the floor where people walk around with filthy feet. Honestly the floor is filthy. I cannot believe i was charged for this mess up. I expected to be reimbursed for the cleaning charges since your website has various claims of how you pride yourself on cleanliness and certifications up the wazoo. If this was the us or europe - a debacle like this would be taken care of asap. As in they would have apologized and made things right. Reimbursed me and made things right. Now made me jump through hoops. I’m now realizing how thoroghly unprofessional your company is and i do expect someone to adress this situation. This has to do with principal. Dont try and fool people by advertising fake stories and telling them and pretending about how good your laundry services are. The conditions are filthy. Or fire people from your organization that dont live up to the mantra your company prides itself on.

I had given set of clothes mostly shirts and T Shirt on 31 st of August, the next day I got a call saying that there is a damage to one of my shirts so they are not going to clean it, when I picked up my clothes and they gave me back a Pink Polo T shirt which had a stain of grease and scissor cuts at the bottom sides, which looked like it got caught in some hinge and then was cut by a scissor afterwards cant figure out why they would use a scissor either it got caught in an hinge and they tried to remove with the scissor.

Just so that you know the attendant in the shop check each and every piece of clothing before they accept it, even the last Saturday when i gave 18 pieces of clothes last week they even caught a stain on one of the shirt and they noted that, when i gave the clothes the 31st they made me wait for 10 minutes until they checked every piece of clothing .

Until today they have been giving me the run around and after much persistence today I got a call from the store giving vague excuses now claiming that I gave a damaged piece of clothing and they are not responsible for the damage, they have asked me to come and check the cctv footage which I am going to do today, I asked for the phone numbers of the factory or the manager or the owners which they have refused to give me.

They now refused to show me the CCTV footage saying that its private I asked show the part where my shirts are being inspected that also they have refused.

There is foul play here, customers be vary before you give your clothes make sure they check and confirm there is no damage before they accept the garment.
