Let me just highlight the pertinent facts:
A. Order placed on June 29, 2017 for two identical items and payment made: was indicated that the order would be shipped in 14-21 days.
B. No update received by July 20, the end of the 21 day period. No number to reach them on (their website does not have a contact number and the number that a Google
search yields is unreachable) and prior e-mails dated July 17 and 18 enquiring about the status of the order continue to remain unanswered (apart from the automated 'we will revert' responses).
D. An email indicating that legal action will be taken is sent by me on July 20 and a response is received from Elitify on July 21 indicating that the order has been handed over to their shipping partner for delivery.
E. The order is received on July 27. However, when the package is opened, only one of the items ordered and paid-for is in the package. My emails over July 29 and 31 requesting for an update on the other paid-for item go unanswered.
F. On August 10, an email is sent from Elitify indicating that the second item can not be delivered and that money will be refunded. I immediately respond asking them to kindly process the refund. Am now awaiting a refund and keeping my fingers crossed.
Net net, please order at your own risk and if you have unending amounts of patience. To me, the whole exercise reeks of dishonesty and malafides - never going to shop from them again.
