We had a trip to srilanks with 20 family memebers.. All the payments were done before the trip and suddenly we found that the hotels and our flights were not booked. we had to pay the additional amount ourselves and travel and stay in the hotel to avoid embarrassment.

Travel chacha ( Ms Anu/Mr AMit / Mr Ajay/Mr Sanjay ) all were aware of this and since 2 years they have been playing hide and seek with us.

We need our money pls.

I had booked my Honeymoon Package in January 2016 through TravelChaCha by making all required payments for flights and hotels. The booking was all confirmed through emails but the day before travelling the agency calls and informs me that the hotel booking is not confirmed and try to sell me cheaper low quality options / alternatives to make money. I called the hotel directly and they said the booking is already confirmed but the agent needs to pay them. I called Travel Chacha back again and they confirmed me to go ahead with the trip and they will make the payment to the hotel in the meantime assuring me that I will not have to make the payment again to the hotel.

All through my honeymoon, rather than enjoying my honeymoon to the fullest I had to get involved in getting the issue resolved by contacting TravelChacha but in the end I had to pay the hotel directly again despite paying the hotel charges to TravelChacha initially.

TravelChacha have been promising to make the refund several times in the last 1 year but haven’t made any payment so far. My sister in law complained through the consumer forum (docket number 80023) in India as I live in UK and they made false commitments again of payment on terms not acceptable to me.

My money of Rs 331, 744 (INR) is stuck for more than a year and the agent is not refunding nor giving me interest for money held illegally since 1.2 years now. Please help get this resolved by

We had booked from travelchacha.com for our hongkong-macau and shenzan trip. On the day of the tour, they cancelled shenzan trip citing visa on arrival problem which was false and added some more days in hong kong with add on. They told that the money which we paid was sufficient and no extra money was required. But when i landed in hongkong, i got a msg that i have to pay extra and when i return back to india, they will refund. I pleaded with them that i do not have so much money, but they put off their phone. So i had to pay there and when i returned back, they have still not paid the money. Just writing inwhats up msg that it will be done but when, we do not know actually. Anu and ashish are passing timeand bluffing. Please i request no one to book from this travel agent.

I had booked my air tickets through travelchacha from Delhi to chennai in JAN-2013, but the booking was not confirmed.

I have been following up with their customer care by writing emails, phone calls, letters, but haven't got any postive results from them:

I had booked a travel for my family (3 ppl) to Hongkong(26th Dec to 29 Dec 2015) and after the payment was done they started ignoring me. They had sent fake tickets showing our travel to Hongkong but when we checked on the airlines page, we realized that the tickets were just blocked and not booked.
We paid 2.3 lakhs for airport to airport pick up & drop, 5* hotel in Hong Kong and Disney land, complimentary lunch and dinner for 3 days a month prior to our travel
Our tickets were confirmed only after we reached airport. It was those stressful moments which could not be explained in words. Our supposed to be peaceful vacation turned out to be the most stressful vacation. Then the agent Anu Arora and Amit informed us about the ticket confirmation.
We were supposed to travel on 23rd Dec. But they made some confusion. Thinking it would be difficult to get the money back from them, we agreed to travel on the date they suggested.
They promised 5 * hotel in hongkong and Disney land but they gave only 3* hotel, that too only in hongkong. Even for Hotel, we paid from our pocket. They didn’t book the hotel, just blocked the hotel.
They promised to pick from airport and drop. But in the last minute they asked us to make our own arrangement. We lost money in that as well
They promised to refund the money we paid for hotel and transit. But till date we have not received the amount.
We tried calling travelchacha Amit and Anu and they started making up excuses one after the other. Till date after repeated calls and mails there has been no response from their side. I had a very bad experience with them.
They failed to keep up their promise and cheated our money in that holiday trip. They give all false promise to choose them as travel partner but after paying money they are giving very very bad experience

I had booked a travel for my family(3 ppl) to Maldives(29th Sept to 3rd Oct 2015) and after the payment was done they started ignoring me.They had sent fake tickets showing our travel to Maldives but when i checked on the airlines page using the PNR number it showed that my wifes ticket was missing.Then the agent Anu Arora was highlighted about this then she issed a seperate ticket for my wife. Then one day before the date of travel she calls up and says that the room for Beach Banglow can be got only for 3 days and not for 5 days as i had confirmed.Then finally after a big argument i had to downgrade to a superior room which was much cheaper than what i had paid for or i had to pay extra of 30k Rs.Then as i was in a fix i agreed to take the superior room .
Finally they had to pay for a transfer fee from the Airport to the Hotel which was promised by Anu to be done during our stay there but then after my 5 days during checkout i was informed by the hotel that they have not transferred the payment and i had to pay 200$ for checkout.I was shocked and tried calling travelchacha and they started making up excuses one after the other and i had no option left but to pay the hotel the amount and Anu and their manager Ajay Sharma promised that they would refund me the money for the transfers within a few days.Till date after repeated calls and mails there has been no response from their side.I had a very bad experience with them.

Bad experience with Travel Chacha...recently book trip for Kerela for my Parents.Agent kavita confirmed the hotel (paradise resort for kumarakom) details, i got a soft copy of hotel voucher as well but when my parents went there they told that no booking is done with them, i called the agent and got to know that in-spite of deluxe package booking is changed to some cheap hotel with very dirty and small rooms (Hotel lake palace).We don't have any choice but to stay there :(.I need compensation for the hotel rate difference and for the inconvenienced caused to my parents.

I booked a tour package with them for my family from US. My agent’s name was Anu Aurora. Initially she was good and provided all the information requested and customized our package etc. But after the full payment was made, she became very irresponsive. She had excuses for every delay in her communication. She kept me in so much stress by not sending me tickets in a timely manner and vouchers for sightseeing until last minute. This was my worst vacation and it so stressful. I spend over 120 dollars trying to contact her from foreign countries using my US phone as I did not have a local phone because she did not have it all organized properly and the agency she dealt with in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand had not received proper details and payment from her. In fact the agency owner Mr. ALI in Thailand kept us hostage in Van until he received payment from her for our trip. It was so stressful and we were so scared in a foreign country in such a situation. Every time you talk to her she will say ”It will be taken care of”, but nothing will happen. You will have to follow up at least 10 times before you receive anything from her. Even though the Itinerary had listed so many places, we learned that some of them are complimentary and the agents at Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand took us to those places only if they had time. What a rip off. She also said that the agency in Singapore will provide us with tickets to fly from Singapore to Thailand and in Singapore, the agency there had no information on this. They said that they were not responsible for providing us with tickets. We had to call her and we received the ticket at night 10:30 pm for the next day morning flight. The itinerary at Thailand was all screwed up due to the change of flight timings. And in Thailand they completely forgot one tour and said it was not in their itinerary. I had to call again to fix that. Her itinerary did not match any of the itineraries that the agencies at each places had. Please do not use TRAVEL CHA CHA for your vacation.

With regard to our Singapore tour last June 2014 from Muscat, it was total disaster. No words to explain our problems and worries. Totally unprofessional. Apart from service we have to get back our money from them, they have been promising me since one year but no response. Due to their negligence we were forced to buy our Air ticket from Singapore to Kaulalumpur which they promised will refund to me after tour. The amount is approx Sing dollar 1450/= which was around Rs.74000 +. we are family of 4 adults Indian - NRI living in Muscar. I called them several times but no response. please help!!! I would like to inform you that I had made all the payments for 3 persons @ Rs. 57500/- from hyderabad package. And Rs. 74000/- for 2+2 persons from singapore package. The total amount paid is Rs. 246500/-. Please give the acknowledgement for the same. I would like to inform you that please give me the confirmation for the following and give me the final confirmation guarantee to process the payment. Trip : Trip to Singapore, Malaysia...

I booked a tour for me and my wife with them for langkawi,Malaysia. They knew we are a couple, then too they booked me and my wife on different flights. It was a struggle on that day when I started calling them over and then only shouting on the top of my voice got me the same flight as my wife.
These didn't care about checking on my initial tickets and when I was on my way back from Langkawi I was told at airport that my return ticket was cancelled because of no show. They had no sense o[censored]pdating tickets for my onward journey.
Called them over when I came back, no apologies and no one even cared to ask how did we come back. Had to shed money from my pocket to get the return ticket(though I had already paid for it in my package) let alone the difficulties I had to go through on a holiday.
Would never recommend booking a holiday/trip with them. They are unprofessional and untrustworthy and would never be able to take care of their customers.

I had booked a flight ticket from bangalore to guwahati for 5sep ,2012. however I cancelled the ticket on 3sep,2012. I was promised within one month I will get the refund to my credit card as the booking was done online through credit card.but till now I have not got the refund and I am paying interest on the credit card every time.i call them daily and a person from accounts name-dharmender singh, tells me that it will be done within 2 days.but till now its not done.please help me to get my money back.and that person never responds well in the call.please solve this issue. i have done many follow ups in call and email but no use

I have made a booking form Travel Chacha from Hyderabad to Delhi on 4th of September and since I choose wrong dates while booking the tickets I made an immediate cancellation. I got to know that my ticket has not been booked and in that case I am entitled to get full refund and even I have received a mail from Travel Chacha that I'll be getting full refund in 2-3 days time. When I contacted them after a week of getting the mail I got to know that it is in process and due to some payment gateway problem, the refund will happen in 10 days.

After 2 week I again called them up checking the refund status, then they told that my refund is in process and it will be in my card by Satruday which didnt happen. After that I am calling them repeatedly once in every 2-3 days but every time I am hearing the my refund is in process and due to some payment gateway it is getting delayed.

Now its more than a 40 days my refund is not yet come and as per the rules it should happen in max of 20 working days. Now I am helpless as my refund is still not processed and no proper communication from Travel chacha guys.

If any one can provide me some pointers how I can get my refund back please provide me.

I had booked tickets on Travel Chacha.com on 14 Aug 2012 but till 16 Aug 2012 they were not able to issue me tickets. So i cancelled the tickets and was conveyed that amount would be refunded to my account in 3 working days. But almost one month down the line the same as not happened. Call to their customer care resulted in only one answer that due to technical problems money was not refunded and every time they promised to pay in next 3-4 working days. But no results....

Dear team,

I have booked my ticket on 10th April, 2012 with travel chacha and approved by them. (please see the below acknowledgement from travel chacha.com). But on 11.04.2012 they sent a mail that transaction was not successful due to technical error but they have deducted amount of Rs. 25,305/-.

After a lot's of request with make travel chacha, still they are not refunding my amount, and almost 24 days are over. Request you to kindly look into this matter and please take strict action against travel chacha team.

I Francis Pereira had booked a airline ticket from Travel Cha .com .The PNR for the flight ticket booking under the reference no. AWLJMY .
The Booking was done on March 1st , The Ticket was form Pune to ranchi on the 17 th march .
They failed to give me the ticket as there was a tecnical error from thier end . They had promised me to refund and reverse the amount back to your credit card within 2 working days . The amount is 9000 Plus , I have made many phone calls on their help line [protected].
Kindly help me in recieving my money back .

I had booked two tickets from Travelchacha.com on 23/1/2012. Airline refrence number AWJDCU and AWJDCN . After booking the tickets i did not receive the ticket copy upto 2 days o my email address then seeing that i callup up travelchacha.com asking for my tickets . They told me that due to some technical fault at their end tickets were not booked at all. Then i came to know from my credit card bank that they had already claimed tickets money from my credit card.Since then i have been following up with travelchacha.com to return my money . It is now being more than a month but they are not refunding my money.

I have booked two tickets from New Delhi to Portblare through travelchacha.com portal on 08.02.2012. Details are as follows :-

Regarding refund of the money i have contacted more than a dozen times on phone and talked to their executives Mr HEMENT ( who assured through mal on 13.02.2012 to get refund within 2-3 days) , Mr DHARMENDRA and finally their D.G.M(Madame) . But their repeated assurances till now i have not get refund. May Please help.

I have been at the receiving end of the TravelChacha who haven't refunded me my money. I had made a flight booking for my cousins from Guwahati to New Delhi vide Booking ID - AWISCD. A sum of Rs. 8618 was deducted from by HDFC Bank account via Order No.TCF-[protected] which was CCAvenue. However they couldn't process the ticket from their end due to some server issues. On 23rd of January they agreed to issues be a full refund within 2-3 working days which they confirmed be via an email. I have been waiting for my payment since then and have been calling them repeatedly and they assure me of a payment each time but I haven't received any from their end so far. Can you please help me with this issue?

I booked a flight ticket from Bangalore to Chandigarh on 1st Nov through travelchacha.com but it was not confirmed as the rates were increased thereafter. I got a message from travelchacha.com that the ticket is not confirmed so i asked for a refund of Rs.4886. They said it will be processed within 2 working days but it's been more than 20 days now and my amount is still not back. i tried calling them many times and was told everytime that the amount will be refunded the next day. But apparantly that 'Next Day' has not come till date.

Kindly help me please. This is the third time i am facing this trouble from travelchacha.
