Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this grievance to bring to your attention a serious issue that has been affecting the residents of Gharmara Satra Path. Our houses and roads are located on a hill, and the road becomes increasingly narrow as one goes up.

The problem we are facing is that some individuals park their vehicles on the narrow road, which blocks the way for others and makes it extremely difficult for people to pass. This is a major concern, especially in the case of an emergency when an ambulance needs to reach the top of the hill. In such scenarios, the blocked road could pose a serious risk to the health and safety of those who live in the area.

I have attached a photo for your reference, which shows how even just one parked vehicle can make it difficult for people to pass. The situation becomes even more challenging when 2-3 vehicles are parked on the road. This causes inconvenience to the citizens living in the area.

I kindly request you to take immediate and permanent action to address this issue. I propose that parking in the narrow part of the road should be permanently removed to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and residents. This will also allow for a smoother flow of traffic and reduce the risk of emergencies being hampered by blocked roads.

I hope you will take this matter seriously and implement a permanent solution to benefit all residents of Gharmara Satra Path.

I would like to bring to your notice that due to construction of new buildings at Lalganesh Ananda Nagar between Bylane 1 upto Bylane 5 Area, all the drain water are overflowing into most of the houses. I have give two mail towards this issue for the last 1 months but cannot see steps or measures taken for cleaning of drain. I on behalf of the people of Ananda Nagar lalganesh Near Bylane 2 request you to kindly resolve the issue.

I beg to draw your attention towards the area of Barpathar, Basistha, Guwahati, the bye lane of Bishnu Jyoti Path are facing severe problems due to floods and drainage blockage.
The blockage drainage problem is caused due to a resident owner named house no 12 of Bishnu Jyoti path has blocked the extension of the drainage as a result of which we are facing critical problems like flooding inside the home and on the way. We are facing this problem from the last 3 years and no organisation is helping us .

We are permanant residents of chatribari, and have never had to face shortage of water supplied by the gmc, piped water, and if required from the borewell installed for personal use only, but from the last few years a resident here (Opp elementary education office) ward 9 has installed a deep borewell and selling it illegally to private vendors, there is que for fillling of water in auto vans and 207 and tata magic with 1 or 2 tanks at a time from early morning to late evening from last few years. Leading to depleted ground water level, and as such in the near future our area may face the similar state like panbazar, kalapahar, anilnagar and abc.
Also sir there are three important educational institutions and two hospital on this road, in which people and students facing danger by the reckless driving of auto vans and the godons they have rented out for loading and unloading. Previously also this illegal supply was shut by the gmc but they have resumed again,
Since sir, as per our knowledge gmc has not authorised any licences to draw water and sell it in the market, so i request you to resolve the matter as soon as possible.
Previously also, gave a written complaint on the public greveriance was given but no action was taken.
Kindly the matter urdently and do the need full.

Please accept my gratitude towards you. I want to inform you that i have been living in Sk Baruah Road, Bye lane 3, Rukmininagar House No 11 for last 5 years. There was no such problems of water logging or flooded drain. Recently, there was construction of drain only on one side of the road which took 1year to complete.For instance if it rains for half n hour, water remains flooded for whole day.There is still no signs of taking measures to these issues from your department.
So, i kindly request you to take the action as soon as possible.

Please accept my gratitude towards you. I want to inform you that we need urgent cleaning of drains of hatigaon, natun path, dispur, guwahati - 38, opposite to lal pathlab hatigaon. Drains of both side of the road are in a very unhygienic and unhealthy condition, which contains various harmful elements, which may cause any type of dangerous disease. Especially the last part of the road is suffering. There are some apartments, especially an apartment named pratapvilla, the peoples of that apartment are not at all cooperating with the committee formed by the local people for cleaning of drains and all. So that the drain below that side is blocked completely and now the drain is overflown without rainfall or temporary flood. Therefor it's a request to you to look at the matter and do needful as soon as possible so that people can live a healthy life.

We are residents of house numbers 5 & 6 of hem chandra road uzanbazar, guwahati 781001. Our neighbours on the eastern side of our premises ate regularly dumping their foul smelling garbage into our compounds.in spite of complaining to them they are stopping throwing of garbage. We request to take immediate action against this. We are getting frustrated by this kind obnoxious behaviour of our neighbours. Immediate stringent action by guwahati municipal corporation authorities is solicited.

Our by lane drains are completely blocked due to gabrage gathered and local inhabitants are used the road for their construction materials duping zone, which leads the complete drains are blocked there are no such way to pass any discharge toilet water, all dirty water stored in house . This is a threat of dangerous viral disease surrounding around the human being .
So request you to kindly get the drain clear on immediate basis and clear all the material which was dump in drain like sand, bolders .

Non cleaning of drainage system of both side of amarawati path, christianbast, dispur post office lane, guwahati -5 since a long periods. There for this locality under guwahati municipal corporation becomes very much unhygienic and unhealthy to stay. We are complaining from Alakananda Apartment, Bye Lane 1 Tarun Nagar Near Rajeev Bhawan Guwahati. Complain is that last 10 days the accumulated garbage has not been picked up by your authority despite a telephonic request to concern person.Now it is very dirty and unhygienic situation in the complex. One builder namely m/s nibaas, prop. Naba kumar baruah, house no. 140, u. N. Bezbaruah road, silpukhuri, guwahati-781 — 3 constructed an apartment called prakritik nibaas, at kanwachal road, silpukhuri, guwahati-781003 and in the meantime handed over some of the flats to their purchasers.
He constructed the big septic tank within the compound without the soak pit. The smelly and the dirty water from the septic tank has been drained out directly to the public drain polluting the whole environment of the loacality including the residents of the apartment prakritik nibaas. This is really un-hygeinic and against the rules of the guwahati municipal corporation. Please take steps to compel the builder to construct the septic tank in a proper way by observing the municipal law.

I m a resident of bye lane 1of government press road, bamunimaidam. Today, i want to tell you about the narrow bye lane we are residing here. Due to the lane being narrow, basic projects like laying down government water pipes is not possible. Even more serious problem is that in cases of disasters emergency facilities like fire brigade, 108 ambulance will not be available for the residents. So i request you to increase the width of the road a few inches as it is a very small, economical and beneficial project (The road is not a dead end road) but will none the less benefit the residents a lot.

Gmc had provided street light facilities to the residence of the locality of kailash nagar, beltola tiniali lakhimipath. However it is very much regretted that frequently the street light become out of service causing lot of inconvenience to the residences. Because of darkness of the area frequent burglary has taken place in he area. Presently the street lights are out of service since 4 month. And complaint lodge to gmc electrical office at neheru stadium ulubari but no response. Banipur development committee kailashnagar met mayor gmc who had assure the street light within one wee but nothing happend. May we request competent authority once again to take action to give the benefit to the tax payer of gmc

The owner and builder has constructed and set up on rent many illegal temporary shops and a few chart houses which cause emence traffic as people park cars and bikes to visit these shops and hence i request you to take appropriate action in this matter.

For the somany years for the development of road, water supply & street light where everybody is sufferings... I being an sr. Citizen wish to see the kushalnagar byelane & road isperfect for humenbeing needs your special look into this matters. 1) kalaphar (Nice raha) there is not ant parking facility.

He still not compelete any project... But one after another he start new project.. How sir?

This is serious matter as all municipal rules lie shattered. I would like to draw the attentionof the authorities under guwahati municipal corporation (Gmc) that just near our house at aaikon boro path, chachal, guwahati, a particular resident have deliberately broken a section of the street (Aaikon boro path) , breaking all laws. This street made by the concrete block system, but this particular neighbor has broken a section of the aaikon boro path, which they claim to be their property, thus creating a big hole about 10meter in diameter. It; being the connecting road linking chacal & dwarka nagar, is causing massive inconvenience to all citizen's & vehicles passing by this road daily. Moreover, after a small spell of shower rainwater remains clogged in this man - made pothole, hence creating a menacing situation for all. Pedestrians & morning - walkers have to wet their feet & car tyres too get damaged. With every passing day the condition is turning pathetic.
I therefore request the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to kindly help to live in a clean & convenient environment. Thanking you and awaiting for your prompt action.

its just common problem every few month these drain behind our house gets blocked due to back neighbor dumping of garbages and plastics in the drain of , on ekata path , near pragati sangha path, jyotipath bye lane no 3 west bhaskarnagar guwahati p.o vinovanagar ghy 18. now mucipal i suppose have the duty to clean the drain also, they dont do until ppl gives request of complain for, so sir here it is another complain to clear the drain out, as last time after compalin they did about 10 months ago now kindly request them to do the same again. as soon as possible coz drain water is over flowing to my compound.

Dear Sir,
My name is S.Bose and I am a resident of Kushal Konwar Road, Fatashil Ambari, Guwahati.The reason of complaining is, though a lot of people uses this road everyday and for about 100 houses approx, this road is the only way of communication, a section of the road is still kaacha with no drainage system.The local people are mantaining some how the particular road, for not having any alternative and coz of blind eye put by the GMC officials even after several complaints.

To make it worse some people in a particular plot are making some illegal developments ia a long time disputed land making much trouble to the commuters by using heavy trucks and JCB's. blocking all the temporary drainage system which made the area prone to water related infections and even after several requests, they doing in a forceful way under the very nose of some GMC officials.Some photos are attached herewith to give a clearer look into it and how the Govt vehicles engaged into road construction are also been misused for personsl interest.

I request the concerned officials to kindly look into the matter and take action against these land grabbers to creat an example or I along with other neighbours will be forced to take the law into our hands.

we are the permanent dweller of word no. 13 of GMC, Guwahati residing at Raghunath path, bye lane namghar path, Dhirenpara, Guwahati-25. we are very much sufferer of water lodging in this area. the road is very much muddy as GMC has not taken any initiative to make the road ( Namghar path- bye lane of Raghunathpath) nor sending any labour to drain out the logged water which is not harming the people only by mud but also has become hazardous of out breaking maleria. Although there is enough potentiality to drain out the water connecting Bharalu river. I would like to request GMC authority to take up this road under their coverage and take immediate step to make the road walkable as we are paying taxes as has been paid by other areas of GMC then why we should be deprived of getting facilities of road. light and drainage system of GMC ? immediate step is expedited from GMC, authority.
