Helpage India Complaints & Reviews

Couple of guys called abhijeet and adnan mob no: [protected] had come to the doorstep asking for donations. They showed some brochures and activities they carry out at helpage india. We were hesitant at first place however they assured that we will get a tax receipt and can visit the center anytime.
I made a donation of 4800 rs on 1st sept 2018 and still haven't received the tax receipt even after following up several times. Now these guys do not even answer the calls and their call center number doesn't work either. I need to file a complaint against helpage india, how should i go about it?

2 representatives from Helpage India came to my home and they first told me that they are from neighbourhood and asked me about my job. And gradually came to the topic of Helpage India donation. I gave them a cheque 6000/-. But when I searched on this site about the Appco fraud, I was shocked. Same pitch which other people have also mentioned. Like they told me names of few neighbours whom I didn't know. I don't think it's ethical for an...

I have donated Rs. 1, 000/- to HelpAge India by Cheque No. 165685, dated[protected]. The Cheque was drawn through Bank of Baroda, GOREGAON (W), MUMBAI. However in the receipt you have sent to me, mentioned that cheque is received from Bank of Baroda, NEW DELHI.

Kindly make the necessary correction and send a fresh receipt. So that there should not be any hassle while claiming Tax Exemption.
