They are a n HR company. They had promised money back within 15 days if we were not satisfied with their services.
We had sent many emails and also spoken on the phone regarding our dissatisfaction with the candidates sent. Candidates were not serious about the interviews, some were not attending interviews, did not bother to read job description, etc.
The day we called to ask for refund they turned off their phone for the whole...

We hired them for their good sales pitch, guaranteed commitment of hiring multiple candidate with each plan. The sales POC was Himanshu. So after discussion we opted o[censored]ltimate Plan and paid for the service.

Ultimate Plan Plan For : Software Developer - (45 days operation which includes, Devoted recruiter, Job postings, Tele-interview, Interview scheduling, head-hunting, Salary negotiation, reference checks, Portfolio Assistance, Video Interviews and Follow-ups)

Varsha Poojari who is Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist at HiringMonk was our hiring POC. Respective to our plan selected we got zero service from HiringMonk . Hiring POC did not even sent a calendar invites to candidates or do single follow-ups if the candidate is present or not. Hiring POC will only shared few resumes in a week. Even though their was commitment for 3-5 CV's every alternate day. Hiring POC will not even reply to your email. You need to make a call for reminder.

We gave requirements for candidates with existing CTC of : 5 to 6 LPA with market standard increment even though they keep on sending us candidates with higher CTC of 8 - 12 LPA and promised them more than 70% increment before the interview. Two candidates did not response to the offer and two rejected due to higher CTC expectation.

After couple of weeks they had stopped sending emails & picking up the calls. Later they sent us campaign closure email and blamed us that our coordination is poor. And we need to renew the plan to get the services.

We tried to explain if there was an issues you should have informed us earlier. They just shutdown the campaign abruptly.
We requested several times to continue the services and close our requirement of hiring. But they denied services and refund.

HiringMonk have no protocol or work ethics. I would suggest please never do any business with HiringMonk.

They will make you false promises before you make the payment and will push you to take expensive plan. After that, they will send you batches of poor cvs which do not fit with your requirements. They will assure you that they will encompass your feedback in the next batch but that is always another lie.

Now as per their refund policy if you're satisfied then you can ask for refund within 30 days. I asked for refund within 27 days after repeated frustration with their batches. But the owner ateeq will keep avoiding your calls or fighting you, wasting your and his time and will not refund your money.

After declining to pay the money, i got my lawyers involved and settled for a credit note for future services on a promise that they will understand the requirement and deliver accordingly. But trusting them again was another mistake and they asked me for more money when i tried to redeem the credit note.

Highly unethical and unprofessional service. You are better off searching candidates yourself on linkedin, do not waste your time and money on them.

We hired this company for hiring services.
We had agreement with advance payment.

Agreement clearly states a trial period of 20 days during which the contract could be closed (which we did) and FULL REFUND should be provided by hiring monk.

But instead, after lot of chasing and calling they refused to return our payment. All mail communication is available for the same.

I hired them for their strong sales pitch, guaranteed commitment and competitive price. Unlike other HR agencies, they charge before the head hunt. Nikita was my contact person and founder Ateeq was involved in most emails

They broke their following promises:
1. Nikita didn't send me 3 resumes a day. Once I shortlist a candidate, she would wait for the complete process before sending new profiles.
2. I offered 3 candidates and none of them joined. They failed in background check and profiling which is basic to any HR agency

Upon asking for a refund, Nikita asked to me take credit note. They were not ready to refund even after multiple emails.

I asked for re-running my head hunt after a month, she completely refused by saying that we don't have candidates for your company with your budget.

I asked for running head hunt for another profile, they again refused by giving lame reasons of budget and profiles.

Hiring Monk is simply unprofessional.

Finally, I had to hire a regular HR agency which provided me with 2 resources within a month.

I suggest go for regular HR agency, at least you will save a lot of time and pay them only when candidate joins your company.

We r a start up company. We hired hiring monk thinking they r good n we also wanted to encourage start-ups. The sales team. Is after you until you make the payment. After payment no one calls or pick the calls.. When we asked refund they promised they will send profiles in a days time but no profiles recieved yet. We already hired people from different agency.

I suggest please don't hire hiring monk especially ms. Richa b.

One of the unique thing about them is that they take the payment in advance irrespective of the campaign result. We took their services and it's been months they are failed to schedule interviews. They share irrelevant profiles and in small batches of 4-5 resumes in a week. Then you can imagine with 4-5 resumes per week how can the position be closed in a month.
Useless services. If they are so capable then they should also charge once the position is fulfilled like other consultants do. Our time and money got wasted.
To Hiring Monk, please improve your database of profiles and don't make false promises.

We are a start-up company and engaged Hiringmonk for our fulfilment. They claim to specialize in servicing start ups like ours. After discussions with, we made the full payment. However, many of the candidates they proposed were not interested in working with smaller companies, leave alone start ups. We kept following up but there wasn't much traction as wel.. So we asked for a refund and since then they are only asking to engage a new recruiter. We did not want a new recruiter because we dont trust thier work anymore. So for almost a month after following up today they just refused to refund. Extremely unprofessional. We have paid 70, 000 upfront and so result at all.

However, many of the candidates they proposed were not interested in working with smaller companies, leave alone start ups. After failed discussions with the recruiter, I escalated this to the founder who promised to fix by involving the lead recruiter. I also raised my apprehensions with him about the payment and he promised to refund the money if the process does not work again. After a brief gap due to this issue, recruitment process was restarted. However, the first candidate indicated that he would not work for a small company again. I escalated this issue again to Preetam and asked for refund. Now neither he and nor any one from his company respond to my emails and calls.
