JBJ City Developers having its corporate office in Chennai and having branches all over Tamilnadu, collected several lakhs from middle-class people and cheated them by not registering land for what they have paid for and also not giving back their money. Instead they supplied several cheques, which bounced consequently. When the customers approached the management threatened them with the help of Gundas. I dont know whom to cantact.Please help me. I am from kerala

I'm one of the person who got affected in this scam and have invested Rs.90000 2 years back. Can anyone suggest on how to get this amount.. I have already sent a letter to the Chennai City police with the details. Even they have assured all the Plot buyers for an early refund some time in Jan/Feb'10 when the investigations was going on.

Kindly pl help me.

I have paid Rs. 33,000/- on 28.02.2009 with refund of Rs.20000/- in 6 months of receipt. But there is no response. where i can get the full amount. this land is in the name Prabhakar Joseph. Please help me to get this amount without any delay...

I , my brother and my coleague had paid for the cost of 5 lands along with registration of plot which is located at kuberapuri near thindivanam to the jbj city developers ( cost of each land of 1500 sq. ft. Rs. 33,000 and registration Rs. 3,000 each). For a period of 9 months we were continuously approaching them and they dodged saying that your registration will be done in the next batch. later all was gone when we came to know that they had cheated us. we are very much hurt. kindly help us. thank you . megalai.

The firm advertised for sale of plots in 'Inba Thamizh Nagar' at Nathampattu Vilage near Chidambaram. The rate of each plot of size 60' x 40' was stated as Rs. 45,000/-. The firm's Villupuram branch manager K. Sumathi (residing at Neyveli township) collected Rs. 180000/- from me in four instalents for 4 nos. of plots. Two nos. of plots was registered on 19.11.2009 and the original 'Pathram' of the two registered plots has not been handed over to me so far. Also the other two nos. of plots are yet to be registered. Sumathi is dodging and dragging the days without making arrangements for registration. Also Mr. Saravanan ( residing at Vadalur),is the power of attorney holder who comes and signs during the registration. He says that sumathi has cheated so many people at Chidambaram and she never pays the collected money to the company.The Cuddalore office of JBJ was contacted and the regional manager Mr. Renganathan and one staff Mr. Thanikachalam stated that Sumathi has not handed over the collected money to the Company. Most of the occassions Mr. Renganathan could not be contacted in Cuddalore office and also never lifts the phone when contacted. Saravanan said that the original pathram of the registered is with him and when I went to get that from him, he told that he had handed over them to Mr, Thanikachalam. When Thanikachalam was contacted he said that they are with him only along with other 10 original documents (All those registered through Sumathi). He told that Sumathi pledged those documents with him for Rs. 52000/- and that he will return them only if Sumathi pays that money back. How the personal money dealing between Sumathi and Thanikachalam will prevent the release of documents to the customers when total amount for registration of two plots was paid by the customer. The power of attorney holder, Mr. Saravanan says that he is not delaing with the original documents and that his job is only to collect the balance money registration, signing for the registration and payment of the collected money to the company.
Thus these three people, Sumathi, Thanikachalam and Saravanan working in JBJ are playing with customer's money & documents and unnecessarily causing mental tension. The company is not taking any measures to set right this and it seems that they allow people to cheat like this.
When the original document for the two registered plots will be got? God only konows. Neither the remaining two plots, for which money has been paid in full, are not registered yet nor the money has been returned to the individual. I need justice. Concerned authorities should enquire and take necessary action so that these cheating people are purnished severly. The punishment given to them should be a lesson to all those who who wish to cheat like these people.

i gave amount Rs 1.75 laks , but not yet register and not give money return.

JBJ City developers in Coimbatore is land mafia company collected money from poor and middle class people, who have lost all their hard-earned money. Mr. Vijayakumar, a criminal (lawyer) has been appointed as the director for coimbatore operations and he threatens the customers whoever asks back their money. The customers victimised by these criminal and fraudulent organisation, should join together to fight against the blood susckers. Please spread this message to all who have been cheated by JBJ and ask them to post their complaints in this forum.

I am Gopinath residing in East Tambaram, Chennai.

M/s JPJ City Developers have approached me for registeration of housing plots. After all clarifications, I have also finally selected a plot near Vedanthangal near Mamandur. I have paid full amount of Rs. 2.7 Lacs for 1200sq.ft, wherein they committed for registering within a weeks time.

I was waiting for 2months, without any intimation....
