Dear Authority,
It is to bring to your kind knowledge that, as senior citizens of Kolkata, living in Kolkata for the past 80+ years with my family, it is becoming increasingly difficult for us to live in Kalikapur area of Ruby, Jadavpur side as there is acute shortage of water. Not even daily necessities are getting covered with the meagre amount that is getting supplied. The water tankers are charging 700 Rs to supply water to the families here. We have tried to request a number of times jointly as a locality, yet we found no redressal. Water is a basic necessity of life, hope we will not be barred of it. Thanks.

Dog Rescue request reject by KMC person
One of street puppy in my area is in very bad condition. He is not eating for 3 days. So I decided to call KMC for help because I heard about them from others. This is the contact no. [protected]. I called and asked him to give me right number of KMC who can help me. He replied that now KMC is not helping so when dog die then call him. What kind of irresponsible inhuman this person who represent KMC to public. He didn't even want to know what the problem of dog. Please I request to take a step that the puppy can survive.

straw dogs removement

I like the KMC would carry out straw dogs killing campaigns regularly if you required a fund or pay sort of thing then i can pay man . The result is that large parts of the city have become infested with stray dogs, many get infected by rabies.
Even so-called ‘posh’ areas cannot be considered safe from them. Hundreds of streets in areas like Defence and Clifton have packs of stray dogs roaming at night, so much so that walking in the streets has become a major hazard. The KMC is requested to urgently chalk out a campaign to get rid the city of stray dogs so that the residents can live in a safe environment.
Even so-called ‘posh’ areas cannot be considered safe from them. We have bought a legal flat of 2 bed room on 1st floor. The ground floor was sanctioned for parking and there is also provision of lift on the approved plan map of this building. But the land lord has made different illegal flats on ground floor.She also has made small illegal flats around the building on ground floor. She has locked the main entrance and has given us a side gate to use, this is creating us alot of in difficulty in our day to day work.She has made the lift area her personal store room. Each day they quarrel and abuses us on nonsense topics. They use to hamper water supply intermittently.They have ristricted us to use the common space.We are in immence trouble, please help us as soon as possible.

Sir,
This is complaint against illegal constructions going on in the building of our business place since a long time. The building no is192, Jamunalal Bajaj Street, Kolkata - 700 007, namely chetram katra. About a year or two back, there was illegal construction on the western side of the building on all floors and it was extended by about 8 ft. on the western side. Again, a few days before, there was a long shop illegally constructed on the mezanine floor of the building and let out to tenants. Recently, an illegal construction is going on the top floor i.e., 4th floor of the building.
The owners of the building, together with the help of some local miscreants and with the help of local P.S., are regularly doing illegal construction and they are not looking into the bad position of the building. There is a net in the middle of the building made of iron rods and they are in shambles and can fall anytime causing great damage to the life and property. Our building is also lacking the basic fire fighting systems and even the basic amenities of drinking water and toilets. Even the toilets have been sold out making shops.
We have made many complaints to the local P.S. but they themselves are involved in this and get a pie out of it. So even they do not take any action.
