Hi support,

We have reserved tickets with below details via goibibo, i have received an email from kuwait airways stating that the tickets got cancelled from their end, however no refund news from goibibo.

Ticket info from kuwait airways:

Kuwait airways booking reference ngsn2y for flight number 167 /may 2, 2020 bound to paris.

    I had a return ticket with kuwait airways from delhi to london. When i landed back in delhi, i couldn't find one of my checked in strolley bags. The ground staff was very impolite and not of any help. It's been more than 30 days since this incident and i've tried so hard to contact these people but in vain. No sympathy or compensation. I had to waste so much of my time and money on such a company. The customer support was pathetic and was rather very rude.

      Due to snow fall in us - jfk airport, kuwait airways ku 118 landed in ottawa canada and we have been asked by kuwait airways to use the hilton hotel accomodation + food, where kuwait airways representatives told us that we can claim it later point of time (It was one night stay at hilton gardens)... But it was really terrible, i have sent around 10 mails to kuwait airways customer service department to help to sort out my claims... But till now no one responded from their side.. Kuwait airline customer service is too poor to compare... At least one line reply expected.. What a poor service... Thanks

        Dear Sir,

        I regret to report herewith what I had an objectionable incident with your airline on 29th July 2012.

        I originally had a reservation for the flight No. KU172 (Seat No. 24K) from FRAKFURT TO MUMBAI via KUWAIT. The flight was delayed for 3 hours. The arrival time was 21:25 hours but it reached Kuwait at 00:30hours. However, the connecting flight to Mumbai was left from Kuwait. As I had to attend an important meeting for finalization of order worth for more than INR Rs.50 Laks. Kuwait Airlines has asked me to wait until the next day 22:40 hours and then allotted a hotel accommodation with SAFIR HOTEL Room No. 4411 which was inside the Airport, They have seized my Passport J4979483 and issued a receipt No. 14317.

        I had to rush to attend the meeting to finalize an order of more than INR Rs.50 laks Rupees in Mumbai urgently and the clients are waiting for my presence for discussion and issuing the order.

        There were many Airlines having earlier flights than the next usual available Kuwait flight to Mumbai. On several requests to allot a seat in some other Airlines so that I can reach on time to finalize the order, which I had missed the opportunity because of the poor administration of Kuwait Airlines.

        In general international norms, a visa is compulsory if any one stay more than 3 hours. I had spoken the Kuwaiti Authorities to issue a visa and they have reluctantly refused to issue. They were abusing and treating Indian as a third class country ethnics, first they said they will issue visa but and on completing the form, they refused to oblige.

        The Hotel accommodation was allotted to me was very poor; the hotel staff were also misbehaved with Indians, and biased. We were forced to stay like a prisoner inside the Hotel, no out-side communication, no local people to meet, calling was not possible and not allowed even. The food served was not good considering I am being a vegetarian, I had to starve.

        Kuwait Airlines did not release my package and I had to stay with the same clothes which I was wearing and no laundry services were provided. Overall, I have lost my business besides mentally and physically exhausted. This however did not appease me and so I am writing this letter to explain how unhappy I am help up in Kuwait.

        The flight reached in Mumbai Airport at 7am on 30th July 2012 and again it was three hours delayed. No Kuwait Airlines staff at the Airport were able to receive our complaint.

        Concluding this incident, in considering the loss I have incurred, for the tune of Rs.50 laks approx. I would like to claim Rs 50 laks to be paid immediately to me by the Kuwait Airlines Authority.

        Please let me know if there is anything you can advise me as I am very upset about this incident.

          Dear Team,

          I had a connecting flight from New York to Kuwait on Aug-18th but my flight from Dallas to NY was late and due to weather conditions I missed my connecting flight. I had to stay in NY for one complete one day because I had the same Kuwait Airways flight next day at night. I was not given any support by American Airways or Kuwait airways and I had to bear all expenses from my pocket. There was not even a single person from Kuwait Airways at JFK to help infact there was no one available on phone also. I was surprised by the services shown by your airlines. I had to bear total expenses of $ 335.48

          My expenses details are as follow:
          > Cab from New York Airport to Hotel : $92.08
          > Hotel Expenses for one day: $141.9
          > Cab from Hotel to New York Airport: $70.95
          > Dinner: $21.74
          > Lunch: $8.81

          I want reimbursement of all these expenses because it was not my fault. My flight was supposed to stop boarding at 9:45 PM and I reached there at 9:47 PM but everyone was gone. All other flights were waiting there. I had a commitment in Delhi on 20th but I missed it because of you guys. On 18th all flights were late on JFK.

          Grave Concern:
          On 19th Aug when I was taking my Boarding Pass from Kuwait Airways counter at JFK airport I confirmed a million times that my two check in bags will load with me. After all your commitments and assurances my luggage was missed out and on 21st when I reached Delhi airport I didn't receive it. Theft and mishandling of luggage is my biggest concern right now:

          List of Damages:
          My 5 perfumes(1 Armani Code, 1 Carolina Harrera, 1 Armani Aqua di Gio and 2 Burberry Brit) have been siphoned off from my bag - close to $300
          Packed Electronic shaver along with refills has been stolen: $227
          I bought 4 Ralph Lauren shirts as gifts which were packed again. They were also stolen: Approx $230
          My American Tourister bag has been cut with a knife to take out goods: close to $200
          because of mishandling of luggage all my choclates were damaged and they spoiled all my clothes: Approx $50
          These damages are close to $1000. Please understand the losses I have faced because of Kuwait Airways. As per US Federal Laws my luggage is supposed to board with me which didnt happen. I have faced enough problems because of you guys. Please help

          I lost my luggage bag travelling from Mumbai to JFK on 11/19/12. I was charged $49.95 at the mumbai
          airport on the same luggage bag as an excess baggage lost on 11/19/12.

          Since the flight was 12 hours late from Kuwait to JFK on 11/18/12 I had to pay approx.100/=on my taxi cab to reach home because I lost my free ride from the Airport.

          Please re-imburse me $149.95 towards transportation & extra luggage charge. Also, let me know if
          you found my luggage bag.

            On 10 th February 2009 i travelled from Kuwait to Kochi, vide flight no ku 351

            The return date has on 11 th March 2009, vide flight no ku 352.But i had informed by email, s m s of my inability to travel before expiry date of 10 th june 2009

            Till date i have not recieved my refund amount, Kindly check your records and expidite the refund amount at the earliest
            I would like to request KUWAIT AIR WAYS management to introduce the service Tirupati (India) as soon as the commence of Tirupati international airpor.I am sure KUWAIT AIRWAYS will have one of the best profitability among other sector throughout the world.I am sure KUWAIT AIRWAY loose lot of passengers due to opening of Tirupati airport . Because now at present time by KUWAIT AIRWAYS carrying only 95% passenger of ANDHRA PRADESH ( KADAPA DIST) due not availability of airport in Tirupati. So this will cause downfall in passenger to CHENNAI. Please do consider plea of ANDHRA PEOPLES who are working in KUWAIT.Thanks and regards.
            I HATE KUWAIT AIRWAYS BIG TIME. Believe it or not there was a big fight between passengers and duty officers of KA yesterday(Can u imagine). In spite of over booked flight KWI-DEL and cancellation of KA tickets the staffs are getting on our nerves to surprise us more for the long waiting hrs already spent. Compensation paid was very less for 24hrs waiting and other passengers got shifted to B-CLASS due to recommendation(wasta) and there was some harsh talks and physical arguments. I saw Indians recording the whole show on their mob-cams to take the issue up.. FINAL verdict KAC SUCKSSSSSSSSS BIG TIME…. SORRY ABOUT THE LANGUAGE. THIS IS THE LEAST YOU CAN EXPECT AFTER GETTING ABUSES FROM KUWAIT AIRWAYS STAFFS. We look forward to take this issue up to the FAA and DGCA.
