We run a ladies hostel. He got our number from justdial and keep contacting us every night. we tried to get rid of him. As it's through justdial we couldn't block him too. His phone number [protected]. I wanna register complaint again him and take proper step to stop this.

hostel in cities — hostels

hi,
i am student in bhopal. there i no regulation regarding rent charges for rooms and hostal .due 2 increasing no of students house lenders apply as much charge they want.
plz do something problems for student are increasing day by day .we have 2 pay halfg of our expanse on roon rent.

illegal hostel — illegal hostel running in laxmi nagar

sir in laxmi nagar runnings are illegals hostel first they btake security and after leaving they do not refund i live in d 210 inlaxminagar the owner f building is running a illegal hostel

A serious action has to be taken against owners. This is case in all the hostels in Chennai

I have been in this hostel few months ago. With no reason they asked me to vacate the hostel immediatley. They just collect the rent of RS 5000, but no service at all. A serious action has to be taken against them.

Royal Shoppe, Velachery, Chennai — Bad Quality

This Shop has got many Bad Quality Food Product including food grains, snacks etc. You can find packets with worms inside. The Cost is high compared to other shops in the same locality.

who is going to take action???

Money Looting
Forcing for illegal activities

The City Police have to take action for these Hostels.
1.Nissi Working Womens Hostel-T.nagar, perambur..etc
2.Honest Ladies Hostel
3.Saraswathi Hostel
And sulekha.com also have to be loyal.

Im staying in Om sai guest care hostel run by Mr Shanmugam. He has not provided many of the facilities he promised. Food is also of bad quality. He also has not given back the deposit when I told I want to go out. Hostel business people are a big fraud.

Who ever is facing problem should complain to the city police station for immediate action. I stayed in a hostel in baby nagar velachery.and faced same problem .I called the police for help, they responded quickly and helped me to get my money back. We should let all the frauds to survive after looting our hard earned money

Name of the Hostel - Royal Stay ladies hostel, Nehru Nagar, Chromepet.

Hostel owner : Mrs Vasanthi,

I was staying in royal stay hostel for the last 8 months, they charge Rs 5000 rent, advance Rs 15000.
For food they charge separately
Rs 40 - Breakfast
Rs 50 - lunch
Rs 40- Dinner ( 3 idly's)
Rs 12- tea and coffee.

They are lot of restrictions like we are not allowed to get parcels from outside. even if we are sick we need to have the food what they provide for Rs 40 for 3 idli's.
They switch on the ac only during night frm 9:30- 4:30, TV timings- 7:00-10:30. the food what they provide is not even worth for 30Rs. During summer we faced lot of problem, chromepet has water problem during summer season, but the hostel owner did not take any actions on it, no generator (inverter also), lot of college students were staying, they faced lot of difficulty during their semester exams because of no power. For many people they did not return their advance properly, even if they vacate the hostel by 1st week also, they take complete months rent 5000 from advance.
They send the people out of hostel if they raise any questions to owner.



Now the rent has been increased by Rs 500 and 750. So i please request you people to actions on them. i request all the hostel owners not to snatch money from peoples like us. Even the money what you earn from us should be honestly.

i am stayign in breeze ladies hostel(thoraipakkam). the servents there are not proper. using abusive languauge. they collect 6000 for nona/c 4 member room. washing machine is repair all the time. no water. even if water is thr the servant put motor only when they need it. heater is also under repair. flush not proper. advance when give back they detect some amount for maintance. food is not up to the mark. is there any option to make a complain on these people and take necessary action?

I am here to inform that the hostel(Surya Ladies Hostel, Sholinganallur)
is a horrible place where young energetic girls struggle a lot.

The problems that we are facing in hostel are mentioned as follows:

* No respect for an individual candidate, Owner(Shanmugam vadivel) is hardly misbehaving to the students.

* Mr.ShanmugamVadivel(owner) used to come and visit every room after 10PM(night) in name of collecting fees.

*If we ask for any facility required like water problem, food problem, , He willnot listen to our words.

*Food is very contaminated, no taste, sometimes very spicy, no salt, with plenty stones,
weekly twice we used to find worms, insects int the food, Sometimes we leave empty of our stomach.

* One of our friend was admitted in hospital because of dirty food.

* If we complaint to Shanmugam, its waste of our time, there is no proper response from him.

* But he's specific in collecting the fees amount ranges from
6, 500(six thousand five hundred), 6, 000(six thousand)

* Shanmugam is a moneyminded person, he does not have courtesy to provide good food and
to satisfy our basic needs mainly water and food.

* There is no proper warden for this hostel.

* Old lady is available in hostel who willnot clean the rest room and
all the rooms properly and also she scold us using vulgar words,
so we face mentally tortured and depressed.

*Since its a ladies hostel, most o[censored]s get infected and are facing many health issues.

* There is no security, very close to this hostel a tosmac shop(BAR) can be identified.

*We all are working in IT companies but from a middle class family,
some are students in near colleges, so we are totally disturbed because of this problems.

*Shanmugam is a cheat person, for many of our friends
while they are vacating he will not give advance amount of RS.6, 500-/-, RS.6, 000-/-.

* Last week my friend left the hostel because she was suddenly transferred to bangalore,
She struggled hardly for the advance amount RS.6500-/- but Shanmugam didn't give the amount,
Finally She was hopeless and she left the hostel with lots of tears
for losing her advance amount.

* Many of our hostelmates were in place of this type situation.

*Shanmugam has 3 Floors: The ground floor is available for hotel,
remaining 2 floors are hostel.

*Shanmugam concentrates more in hotel and he doesnt take care about hostel.

* Some hostels in Sholinganallur area plays the same role.

*Shanmugam and old lady are treating us as slaves and insulting us badly.

*All women staying in this hostel are basically from outside of chennai,
since we dont have any support, ,
we kindly need your humble help to take action regarding it .

*By next month I will move out from this hostel to somewhere else
but I dont want someother friend like us has to struggle like this...

This is not only the case in Chennai, but also in Bhubaneswar. In these hostels, owners collect money and after that they do not listen a word from the girls. Whatever the problem may be, they do not listen after taking the money and always lie that the work will be done, but they never take any serious action.

It seems that illegal hostels are running throughout the country and there is no any rules from government imposed on them to control their behaviour.

I'm in Trivandrum. The hostels here are also of same condition. No hygiene.

No basic facilities like geysers and washing machines.

Not even a proper place to wash the clothes.

Fees ranges from Rs. 3500 to Rs. 6000.

Working in IT companies, Living like beggars.

I am Payal. I am living in a hostel of Pune. Although I have no written agreement with my hostel owner, even then It was implied that the maintenance charges like plumber etc, will be bear by the hostel owner only. But my hostel owner is reluctant to do that. In case any problem happens in our room, like tube light is not working or maid is not coming or bathroom is chocked, she takes the remedial steps at her own sweet ease. I mean in one of the rooms here, there is no light for the last one month. Our room are uncleaned for the last 3 days and my bathroom is choked for the last two days.
When I talked to her today, she told us that she will charge us for the charges of plumber.
Where should I complaint against this?

Hostel is run by Braha & Indira. They collect rent Rs.[protected] without
food and advance[protected]. This hostel not even worth to collect money of rent
for Rs.1000.The hostel is nearly 60-70 years old building which belongs to
apparswamy temple property. Nearly 40-50 girls are staying only have 3 toilets
& 4 bathrooms are available. Cleaning servants is not there. No window in
any rooms. Nearly 50-70 rats are there. No security. Warden (Braha) will take
leave on national holidays so we will lock our hostel by ourselves.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />


No License they are running in the name of
some Christian institute and college name.

Akshaya ladies hostel is very poor and bad.
The hostel owner is money minded.
She refuses to do maintainence but
loads unneccessary charges on us.
The hostel is not clean too. Sometimes, they
offer contaminated and unhygenic foods.
Rats which is the source of cause for many killer
diseases are found inside the hostel.
Frequent water problems raises. The hostel is
ofcourse insecured.

I am here to complain to the authority that Maa Sharde Girl's Hostel, near CISF building, Patliputra, Patna, Bihar...is playing with the health and life of the girls by providing unhealthy and unhygenic food. I don't know whom to complain in the government because I am helpless that the owner is not taking any action against this, and this has become like a daily soap. Please guide me through this and tell me the proper and systematic procedure to take a legal action to stop all this anonymously. I am waiting for your reply.

Really it is a very worst hostel in t.nagar. please dont join here.They collect huge amount from you, change their hostel fees often.For such a compact room that too with bunk beds for 8 sharing they charge fees heavily, also have to pay eb bill water bill seperately each month. even i[censored] complain there wont be proper response.bad quality food.even tea, coffee or milk anything it may be, u can find only water in it. Warden is worstest.verrry verrry irresponsible.
