Thanks for your quick response.in this regard we would like to inform you that we, way back in the year 1998, had deposited certain sum of rupees in the name of following named depositors under money multiplier scheme with m/s lloyds finance ltd at its office address at 2nd floor, sanidhya complex, opp. Ashram, ashram road, ahmedabad-380009. The details of fixed deposit receipts are as under.

In this regard we would like to inform you that so far we have received only two instalments of maturity payment and thereafter no maturity instalments are paid to us. This fact was brought to the notice of your ahmedabad office and we also corresponded with your mumbai office address. We vide our letter dated 18.09.2008 had also informed to the chairman, special committee lloyds finance, mumbai in this regard and also informed them about our changed address. During our inquiry with your ahmedabad office from time to time, we were informed that the matter is in the court and the verdict is awaited. However, we have not received the payment yet.

We had taken a scheme of Lloyds Finance Ltd in the year 1998, where we gave Rs 50, 000 for 5 years as fixed deposit and they were to provide us with interest. But they didn't even provide the principal amount and they just flew away with everyone's money. I kindly request you to please take action and help us in getting back my parents hard earned money.

At the time of investment we were assured that upto 1 lac inr maturity amount rbi would take care even if the investment company defaults. Our fd's have matured over 15 years now & till date we haven't received a single dime back of our hard hand money. Can rbi assist in recovering our investment from this mickey mouse company???

I have invested rs 10000/ as fixed deposite with you in your lucknow office on 27.09.1998 with maturity date being 27.09.1999. But before maturity i have requested to break the fd and return the amount but your delhi office and your lucknow office refusedin writting to oblige. On maturity they informed thay payment shall be made according to company law board. Later they stoped to even reply.
I have have also written to high coart special committe in this respect.
I there fore again request to make payment along with interst at your earliest.

Sub- Non-receipt of Maturity Amount on our following 5 (five) Fixed
Deposits of Lloyds Finance Ltd

Dear Sir/ Madam
We have been writing to you thru ordinary post, Speed Post and registered post regularly since year 2005, and sporadically before that for refund of our deposits. Our last speed post sent to LFL on[protected], at your then Chairman (Special Committee) at 2nd Floor, Viraj Impex House, 47, P.D’Mello Road; Masjid )East); Mumbai-400009, returned back to us undelivered. We have not heard anything from you so far regarding that.

Your last letter (ref. LFL:268:2007:KKL, Dated February 2, 2007), informed us that you had cleared the payments for deposits upto Rs.5000 and have taken up payment of deposits upto Rs.10, 000 and then you will be taking payments for deposits upto Rs.15, 000. Since then, almost 8 years have passed, but we did not get anything nor we got any intimation from you inspite of our frequents requests and reminders. All our FDs are about 18 years old.

You are, therefore, requested once again to help us by payments of our long overdue amounts. Please note that each of the 5 deposits are for Rs. 12, 000/ (less than Rs.15, 000).
Please also note that we had submitted all the original certificates long back to the then office of LFL in Kolkata.

I had requested the special committee vide my letter dated 07/04/2010 requesting them to refund the fd amounts based on medical grounds, to which i received a response letter (Ref no: lfl/4781/2010/kkl) dated 18/05/2010 from the special committee appointed by the honorable high court at bombay. The special committee had conveyed in their letter that they have decided to consider my case on compassionate grounds and would refund my money subject to availability of funds.
However, no further communication has been received till date from the special committee. I am a retired senior citizen depending solely on the interest earned out of the fds, and inordinate delay of more than 15 years has caused immense financial issues and the follow up procedure has caused me great trauma.
I request the honorable court to intervene and direct the special committee to take immediate repayment measures.

I had taken the following Fixed Deposits with Lloyds, all for a period of one year
1) No C/[protected]/1 dated 19/12/1997 for Rs 1, 00, 000 (One Lakh)
2) No MUM98001170/1 dated 30/05/1998 for Rs 1, 00, 000 (One Lakh)
3) No MUM98003376/1 dated 04/10/1998 for Rs 1, 00, 000 (One Lakh)
I have received only 30% refund of the principal (Rs 30, 000) for each of the above between Aug 1999 and April 2002. I have yet to receive the balance proceeds.

Dear Sir, The following 3 fixed deposits were made & have matured long back, however despite giving written reminders, we are yet to receive the maturity amount. kindly note the details of the FD - Money doubler scheme - 1) FDR # C/[protected]/1 for Rs 8, 000/-. I had made a fixed deposit with Lloyds Finance limited no.[protected] dated 07/11/1997 for Rs. 10000. at an interest rate of 16.50 %, final maturity amount being Rs. 13578/.It matured on 08/11/1999. The Finance company has given me only 1 cheque for Rs. 2000, cheque no. 125026 dated 30/06/2001. I have tried calling the branch but there has been no response regarding the balance payment.

My self promilla sharma has not received the balance payment of my FDR no.[protected]/1,[protected]/1 with Lloyads finance Ltd.of rs 14077 ,8211 deposited on 1/6/1998 1/3/1998 which has matured on 1/6/1999 ,16/3/1999. Only one refund of rs4223 ,4927 received on 1/6/2000 15/3/2000 balance payment of both fdr's are pending. Please look into the matter.

I had made a fixed deposit for Rs.10,000/- vide receipt no: [protected]/1 dated 16/11/1998 which matured on 13/11/2000. On maturity I had submitted along with the orginal receipt for repayment of the principle amount of Rs.10,000/- through Eastern Financers Pvt Ltd. of Kolkata who after few months reported that the company has closed down their office in Kolkata and has shifted to Ahmedabad. I contacted Ahmedabad office and also visted personally to their office when they told me that the company has gone for BIFR and what ever order they get from them it will be intimated.But to my surprise no intimation was given even after BIFR gave decession to pay part amount of the principle vide ref no: F1/A/544/[protected] letter. Then I came to know the appoint of Special Committe by the Bombay High court and I contacted the officers through letter but they also could not give me any reply. In the meantime I shifted my residence and I reported the same to the Chairman of the special committee Hon' Justice V.R.Datar vide my letter dated 20th October 2011. I do not know the present status of this matter. Pls take up the issue with the company and have the matter settled. I am now retired and depend on interest income only.

I had placed a fixed deposit with LLOYDS FINANCE LTD way back on 30/04/1998 for Rs 10,000/- ...FDR (Receipt no) is [protected]/1 @ 14.75% pa for 12 months and the date of maturity was 30/04/1999 ...
Forget the interest ... they have not even refunded the full deposit amount to us all these years ... and they are non contactable .....

The maturity date was 5/3/2001. I had received Rs 13000/- only till now in July 2007.
The remaining amount is yet to be refunded and now its been many years.
The company on paper and annual report shows profit with good ratings on one hand and duping the investors on the other, so naturally good and easy money. The...

In an unfortunate manner my husband died. I had purchased a certificate in the year 1995 for INR 9000/- I was to receive the maturity amount of INR 18050/- in 2001

However, till date the company has not returned the amount due to me.

I am in need of the funds and do not know how to get this money back
