Non receipt of FD amount and interest
Sir,
I am holding Fixed Deposit in Lloyd's Finance Limited since 09/11/1998.The Deposit was matured on 09/11/1999.I had submitted my Deposit receipt in company's office at Vadodara on 04/11/1999.I got the circular from the company dated 15/02/2002 ,assuring that company will repay the Fixed Deposit amount in five equal installment and total due interest with final installment.I had received first installment for Rs.2400/- on 15/02/2002 .Till date I have not received the remaining amount Rs.9600/- with due interest even after several reminders.My details are as under.

Dear Sir,

I had deposited Rs.50, 000/- as a fixed depoit in Lloyds Finance Ltd.in 31/01/1997 for 36 months. Rate of interest was 17.50% per cent per annum. The date of maturity was 31/01/2000. But after maturity Lloyds Finance Ltd. had not returned my full amount of fix deposit money.
My total amont about Rs.50, 000/- still, Lloyds Finance Ltd. have not returned to me. I am suffering from heavy illness due to age limit. Also I am admitted several times in hospital. Now I am having lot of money problems.
I was a employee of MAHARASHTRA STATE CO-OPERATIVE BANK LTD. and retired on 1996.
This amount was my settelment amount, Which was fixed at Lloyds Finance Ltd.
The original FDR was handed over to Lloyds Finance Ltd. office by the representative of dalal investment alongwith my letter on 2001, Requesting you to kindly refund the fixed deposit amounts remaining with them .

I regret to inform that inspite of their promise and my reminders till date i have neither received the deposit amount nor heard from them regarding the refund.

I, therefore, request you to intervene in the matter and help me to get the deposit amount for which i shall be thankful to you.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Mrs. USHA NAGULA has invested an amount of Rs.8000/- as Fixed Deposit in this finance company on[protected], vide their FDR No.[protected] dated[protected]. This FDR was matured on[protected].They have promised to pay double the amount (Rs.16,000). When approached on maturity of said FDR ,they asked to submit original FDR certificate to their Ahmedabad office. Accodingly i had deposited the same duly receipted by them . After that I had approched number times to return even principle amount , but all my efforts to get my money back went invain. Till date no news regarding my priciple amount.
Sir,
Are there any Indian laws where such fradulant people can be prosecuted and awarded an exemplary punishment. Even if my money is not returned , no problem . But these cheating people should be punished and set as an example to other financial frauds.
I am not the single victim of this fradulant company, but there are thousands of victims , senior citizens , suffering from heart problems , people have invested their hard earned money .
Sir , please do help the victims of LLODS FRAUDULANT FINANCE COMPANY.

We have handed over the FD receipt duly discharged to the Company on 07/06/ 2001. However the Company has failed to make good the payment of proceeds of said FD to us till date.

As per the latest hearing of the Company with Company law Board on 14/11/2000, the repayment of FD matured or to be matured was again rescheduled. As per the order dated 16/04/1999 we were eligible to get the payment by equal instalment of 20% of the amount yearly to be paid entirely within 5 years.

Despite this order, the Company has not paid any amount to us so far.

The fact of the case is that this amount was invested out of retirment benefits received in the name of my deceased father. Hence this amount has been a small source of income for my mother, who is now more than 75 years old lady and is presently under tremendous financial crisis.

Non receipt of this amount by the Company has not only severely impacted the means of livelihood for my ailing mother, but also adversely affected her health at such a old age.

Hence it is kindly requested to take up the matter with the Conpany, compelling them to immediately arrange for an amount of Rs.15000/ payable to her, along with applicable interest from the date of maturity of FD till date.

I would really appreciate if the case is taken up with the Company for immediate settlement on top priority.

F.D.R.amount on maturity not refunded
Sir,
We have deposited a sum of Rs 16000 /- vide Deposit receipt No: [protected], Date of maturity 22.11.99.
in the Lloyds Finance Limited, .The company has not refunded the maturity amount on the maturity date.Till this date i have received only Rs 3,200.00 .
When contacted the local office at Chennai several times they informed me on 01.09.2003 that there are problem in repayment and directed me to send the original deposit receipt to their office at Ahemedabad, address 2 nd Floor, Sanidhya opposit to Sanyas Ashram, Ashram Road, Ahemedabad.380009.
The request letter for repayment along with the original deposit receipt duly discharged were sent the companies address mentioned above on 3-9-2003 by RPAD.

Official at the local branch office are non committal for our subsequent contacts.
Please do the needful for receiving the matured amount early to run our family and to meet the day to-day expnces.Thanking you.

Hi,

I had taken 2 FDs with Lloyds Finance, each for Rs. 10,000/- on[protected] for 24Months + 1 Day maturing on 15/05/1999. The FDR Nos. are C/[protected]/1 and C/[protected]/1. We were paid Rs 6000 on[protected] and are yet to receive the remaining Principal amount. Please let me know when I can get the same.

Also, let me know how do I go about it.

We have deposited a sum of Rs 9000 vide deposit reciept no [protected] on date 08/05/1997 for 47 months whose maturity date was 08/04/2001. The original certificate was submitted to the office on 11/01/2003. since then even after many reminders, no response from company side has been made.

Non refund of FDR-[protected]/1

Myself, Ram Lakhan Prajapati, had invested Rs.14,000/- in Fixed Deposit of M/s Lloyd Finance Ltd. The FDR No. is [protected]/1 dated 13/05/1998 and maturing on 13/05/1999.Almost 12 years have passed but neither have I received any proceeds nor any communication from their end.

I have tried and logged a complain (complaint no:- (112/2002)/(110/2006)) in District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum ,Gridih also. But no result.

I am in urgent need of funds. Kindly help me in getting my money back.

Dear Sir,
We have a FD Receipt No.C/[protected]/1dtd 22/04/1998(Maturity Dt.22/04/1999) for Rs10000/- under Multi Multiplier Scheme.We received Rs.6000/- only by Chq No. 883051 dtd.15/04/2000.We have submitted the FD Receipt on 17/01/2001 for full refund with interest.But till date we have neither received any more refund (principal and interest) nor any intimation from the COMPANY.
Hope you'll do the needful so that we get back our hard earned money soon.

Way back in 2001 we received a letter from your Hyderabad Office ded 8.5.2001 signed by one Mr. Anjaneyulu stating that "the entire amount of deposit will take 1 and a half to two months to refund and if you do not receive payment the matater may be referred to us for our necessary action."

Now almost 10 years have passed but nothing haas happened to our payment.

I will be grateaful if you can refund the principal amount plus interest aas on date as declaread by you at Rs.15.5% interest.

Since I am retired from service, this money will help me to a great extent.

I have deposited Rs.5000/- vide Depositt Receipt No.0379907 dated 03.03.1997 in money doubler scheme for 47 months with M/s Lloyds Finance Limited. Date of maturity was 25,01,2001.Although I received my principal amount of Rs.5000/- in 2001 yet not interest has been received on the principal amount till date. M/s Lloyds Finance Limited kept on changing their address & also no written reply was received from them. Please help.

A year has gone by and I have not received any information from your office regarding the payment of my deposit with the accrued interest of 12 %. It is to inform you that I am eighty two years old, suffering from all sorts of old age ailments and I am badly in need of finance for my treatment.

After maturity of the aforsaid amount my father received only Rs. 1600/- & 1400/- on dated 05/01/2001 & 22/01/2001 against the 1st & 2nd deposit. My father send a legal notice on 30/07/2004 but there was no response from Lloyds Finance Limited. Suddendly my father expired in a road accident on 07/03/2007.

Now these days we are suffering from very critical financial position. This is the last hope.

So, you are requested that kindly see the direction, that how can we realise my father's entire dues as soon as possible. I hope you will reply soon.

I had deposited Rs 13000/- as FD for 3 Years on 08.02.1997. Date of Maturity was 08.02.2000. The Company sent my Post dated cheques for quarterly Intt payments & for principal amount also for maturity date. The cheque dated 01.03.1998 was returned by Bank for funds shortage. . The Company paid me Rs. 2600( 1/5th amount of principal) as per the scheme sent by the Company to me on surrender of original FD receipt. I sent Deposit receipt for 2nd time again as advised by the Company by registered post on 13.02.2002. The Company in its communication also said that Intt will be paid along with last installable. Since then I have not received any installment also & nor FD receipt has been returned. I am a retired person now & sent application for re- payment as I have no other source of income now with proof of my age which is > 60 Years. Kindly arrange for my repayment at an earliest.

Dear Sir,
We, my self and my wife deposited Rs10000 each as fixed for one year on[protected] @16.75%/y,fixed deposit receipt nos.[protected]/1 and [protected]/1 but after maturity ,we got Rs 4500 each only (30% of pricipal amount)on[protected] after that we are not getting any responce from LLOYDS FINANCE LTD.Therefore I request to help me for getting payment with interest.

Ourselves, Shraddha and Ashok Agarwal had deposited Rs, 50,000 vide FDR No. [protected] dt December 26, 1996 with Ms. Lloyds Finance Limited which was scheduled to mature on December 26, 1999. The FDR had been fowarded to the company following a communication received from them in April 1999 where-in it was mentioned that the deposit along-with interest would be paid as under (pursuant to order passed by the Company Law Board, Western Region Bench, Mumbai under the provisions of section 45QA(2) of the RBI Act, 1934):

My FDR matured on 17.11.1998 with lot of persuation and effert I got my principal amount by 14.05.1999 thanks a lot.

Now my request is, I am supposed to get the interest from 1.10.1998 @ Rs.7625 per quarter. I am heart patient aged 84 under gone angioplasty and my husband expired because non refund of prinicipal amount from you in time (April 1998)

The date of maturity was 09/05/1999 but after maturity Lloyds Finance Ltd had not returned my full amount of fix deposit money. They had returned to me only 10,000/- my rest amount about Rs. 36,000/- still Lloyds Finance Ltd. have not returned to me.

The money which I had received from my husband's death I had invested in Lloyds Finance. I have Daughter's only. I need this money now for my daughter's marriage. I have writteen so many letters to them but they did't give any response.

My mother invested Rs.15000.00 on 6th May 1996 @ 15%p.a. vide Deposit Receipt No.0156404 and FD No.32011/1. We were asked to return some PD Cheques and the original FD receipt as they would pay accordng to CLB order in installments. 0f 20% per year. We received two installments in 2001 and 2002. After that there was no communication. My mother expired in Dec. 2004. I do not know whom or where to contact them for the balance.

I wrote a registered letter to The Regional Vice President on
06/03/2010
I received a reply on 16/02/2000 informing that The Company Law Board,
Western Region Bench has rescheduled the fixed deposit repayments by
virtue of Sec.450(2)
of RBI act 1934.
As per the table given in this letter payment was to be made 30% in
Feb.2000, 30%i
in 2001 & 40% in 2002
Accordingly I received the amount of Rs.4500/- by a cheque dated
15/02/2000 butI have not received , till date, the balance amount of
maturity & the interest for the delayed payment.
Hope that my grievances are redressed satisfactorily within a month.
