I received a mail regarding job opportunity data typing operator and asked me to share my address and contact number.I believed it was genuine snice the opportunity is from government website. I am suspecting that this is a scam ....

I got the mail from 'National Career Services Data Entry Work' offering Data Entry Operator Job. I gave address and phone number. I got call from local pots office that kit is arrived and I need to pay rs 2000. I doubt and realized that this maybe scam. I called the number mentioned in the mail. And I deny to accept the parcel. Ana told post man to send it back....

Sir, I got an email from NCS support team ([protected]@ncsshuto.in) on 01/07/2023 as I got a job offer as data entry operator in HOFS and a joining kit will be sent to you as soon as possible. I gave my address and phone number to them and they sent a kit to me. The kit reached to my nearest post office on 07/08/2023. They said the kit includes my offer letter, Joining letter and I only get a masala powder inside it. I had paid 2000 Rs to my post office to receive that parcel on 07/08/2023. I contacted them and they said it was not their mistake but they will give refund to you within 24hrs. Until now (08/08/2023) I don't get any report about this. I believed that job application through a government portal is genuine and my details given to the website is safe. But this incident seriously affected my believe in government websites also. It is very shame. After I said about this scam I realized that so many people are undergone in the same situation before but they didn't complaint. So I realized that this scam is everywhere in India but no one taking any action against this. So please try to find the scammers and also don't allow such people to play with poor unemployed people.
