I have 450 shares of Bihar Alloys Steel Ltd., I wrote a letter to the company for change in address at their Patratu, Jharkhand address but the letter has returned back. Now I have heard the company has been taken over by Jindal Steel & Power Ltd.

Please let me know the addres where I can send my letter for change in address.

I sent 1500 shares for transfer with folio nos.M-104006, F-11845, 101357, 307700, M-74097, , C-48085, 0020814, M-74077, 65599, 76572 on[protected]. Thereafter all my letters have been returned with the remarks'Co.sealed by Govt.

Hi there

i searched various websites abt info on orkay silk mills. I have understood that the company had undergone a name change - new name bein orkay industries limited and thereafter it went under winding up as per high court order in january 1999. please read article on the link :

i assume the shares of the company are henceforth a waste paper!

Dont Throw your shares
Orkay at one time considered as challenge to Reliance is not in radar.Ofcourse the value of this share is negetive some time chance may come if any land is left to its credit or sale of some absolute macheinery.In some cases some prudent buyers will send you a offer for some junk shares.At this point wait for some time to get better price.
The proverb never marry any shares in stock market to be always rembered.We have to study and ready to sell any share with some loss also.Otherwise we may loose our entire amount.I remember from a height of Rs 200 to 0 sahows the glorious part of Orkay. Those people are lucky who got nothing from its public issue.At least they have saved face value with interest thereon
