Now the status being updated is "Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined". Why the passport verification has been delayed. I wish to know the meaning of the status and the problem in this application. Please make the verification process faster so that I can get the my passport on time. I, Manav [censored]al resident of Mumbai, India has renewed my passport in recent months but my name is Spelled wrong - MANAU (U instead of V). My pass port no is G1727025.
I am planning to apply visa for Singapore and Australia (tourist visa) so it may give problems.
Please let me know asap the procedure to get it rectified.
