Money debited but transaction failed. No refund since one month

On 4th Oct I had done a transaction which was failed, amount 926 debited is still not credited back into my account. Customer care number doesn’t take me to talk to executive it just keeps saying invalid input. Email complaint no response received. Pathetic service from paybak

Payment deducted from my saving account as well as from credit card
On 25th April'22, I also got cheated and 43 k debited from my 2 accounts and 20 k from my credit card I got a call from kanika sharma ( e code - 336029 ) and priyanshi ( e code - 336025 ). Please resolve d issue refund my amount. I have already registered complaint.

PAYBACK points not credited to my account

I have been calling pay back since past two weeks about my points, but all my complaints are being ignored. I have spent well over 100rs just overthe calls with customer care who is just saying that they would connect my AMEX payback card and do it right away. I'm frustrated right now and extremely dissatisfied with the service being provided to me, I'll suggest never to go for payback card.

Over the past one week, my Payback points linked to my official ICICI Bank, have all suddenly vanished from my account. I have tried reaching to customer care also. But, to no respite as they don't even pick up the call. The official number just says "The number you have called is a higher call rate number, premium charges may apply". The call disconnects after this. The alternate contact is also not reachable. Cannot find any alternate mail id or contact details of nodal officer also. Please help! I need clarity & my points back.

Fraud - Debited 20k from my ICICI bank credit card

Hi Team, I recently ( dated 16/7/2020) got a call from the Contact number : [protected] Name: Mohit Dubey, Employee Number : 336094 Address : 4th floor, office no: 909, Raheja Center, Narimon point, Mumbai -500021. He addressed him as a representative from “ICICI Rewards / Payback” team and he said that our ICICI Account has eligible for a payback of Rs.9, 500 and to claim that, I need to give him the Card Details. I ignored him at the first time and I said that he is not from the bank as the bank people won’t call asking for the call details. For that, he said it’s a new reward programme announced in the bank and hence calling the customers directly. Actually I am Jobless because of " COVID-19". So I thought the amount Rs. 9, 500 would be of help for my regular expenses and gave him my “ICICI bank credit Card”. Within few mins, he asked for an OTP and when I refused to share, he said that is the process to claim the REWARD points and once they are able to successfully make some transaction and only then they can process the PAYBACK amount. Hence, I shared him the OTP, and he had purchased around RS.21, 024/- from the card. But after that, he said there is some problem in linking the PAYBACK amount to the Credit card and asked me to give another card details. This time I refused and demanded him to give back the money which he had swiped / used for purchasing. He again called me asking that to share any of my friends or family numbers card details so that he could help me to complete the transaction of redemption of 21024/-Whenever i tried to call him back on the same number they just blocked my contact number and not answered. He said he can’t give the amount and asked me to file a complaint if needed and NO ONE CAN DO ANYTHING. I have recorded his complete call and told him that i will file a Legal complaint but he is not even cared about that. I request you please look into my request and take some necessary actions against the same. Awaiting for your reply. Thanks Sairam

I had received 1000 points, but not able to redeem Promo points received from central. As all the pune stores were closed . also the Pay back team have fake reply that they are credited in my pay back account which was not the case. Horrible team pay back is having. even after providing them email from their own official I'd, about crediting 1000 points wit extended validity. They are asking 4 a proof. ??????????? what sense does it make Divyashree Documented and Rashmi...????

During the great amazon sale from 29th sept to 4th oct, i shopped for rs.1800 from payback app,
According to payback i was supposed to receive 28 payback points for every rs.100
I shopped for rs.1800, but i did not receive any payback points which were promised.
I tried to contact them regarding this on the same day and one day later but no reply from them.
They told me they would contact me but again no reply.
I think they are cheating consumers with their offer but are not providing payback points as promised.
According to payback i was supposed to receive 28 payback points for every rs.100
I shopped for rs.1800, but i did not receive any payback points which were promised.

I have sent multiple queries regarding shipping information but have not received a response. I have not received the product ordered and my 6759 points have been deducted from the payback account.

This morning, i got a call from [protected], saying that the reward points has been redeemed into cash rs.9500. They need an account to transfer the cash amount redeemed from the points. Roshan (Emp id - 336054), bariya (336049) and mohit dubey (336024). They took all my details and debited 30k from my salary account. They even provided head office address 4th floor, 909, raheja centre, nariman point. Mumbai 21. Payback is a fraud.

My payback account is linked with icici bank. Icici bank has given me the benefit. But payback has not updated my personal details given by icici because they dont not want me to take benefits and utilise my points. I complained of the same on 21/12/18. I am a user of ICICI credit card and get reward points for my purchases using my credit card. I have some points accumulated in my account. In order to redeem my points I must have my Payback card number and the 4-digit PIN. I have my Payback card number but not the 4-digit PIN. So I contacted Payback several times through email. I got the reply that they have sent my PIN to my email ID and to my registered mobile number. but I have not received it.
I wrote to them on July 29, 2019 and the auto reply was that they will get back to me in two working days. 19821980 was the request reference number given to me.
The same day I got another email from them which I have reproduced below.

This is in response to your Service Request No. 19821980
Thank you for your mail to PAYBACK and the opportunity to assist you.
We understand that you are not able to login your PAYBACK account.
We checked and found that in your PAYBACK account contact details are not updated.

Hi All,
I am really astonished that how come you people are so unprofessional & make mockery of common people.
From last 3 months I am talking & requesting to your team to merge all my accounts of payback to one account but every day you come up with a new story.
Is it my responsibility to update my profile at your back-end team.
On 10th of November again tirelessly I called your customer care team and asked about why my credit card account was not linked to my primary account of Big Bazaar, the guy informed me that my credit card profile is not updated for which they are unable to link the account, for which again with due patience he again taken a request to update my profile with the SR no 17851844. and said me within 7 days the things will get done and I will receive a confirmation mail or SMS.
Now yesterday I again called your customer care to know the fate of the SR of 10 November, since no mail or SMS was received by me from your end. I have called your customer care &
To my dismay and surprise the guy was telling me that my phone no is not updated in my profile & I require to make a request again, I asked for a senior to talk on the matter & some Mr. Khan had joined the call and after naretted by me the whole incident to him from last 3 months, he said me the needful will be done and the account will be linked, and further he said that by today noon he will call me and will update on the completion of the job.
But again what to say the height of the comedy & unprofessionalism, a gentleman called me at around 2.30 pm approximately, speaking in a south Indian accent said me sir ur phone no got updated, then when I asked him what about the linkage of my accounts, he was telling me that since my email ID is not updated in that credit card account so it cannot be marged or linked, so firstly I have to give a service request to update my email ID in the credit card linked account of payback then they will be able to do the needful.
Now I lost my patience and busted on him, he sniffed by telling me that they will again review my previous service request and some senior will call me. And now I am getting this mail. The few questions arises here are -
1) what actually was done with the service request of 10th November.?
2) if my profile had been updated from back-end then why yesterday it was conveyed that my cell no is not showing in that account and for which they are unable to do the needful, and again requested to wait till today noon.
3) Finally again the gentleman who confirmed me that the cell no is updated but my email ID is not, what it means?
Please clarify all this above mentioned queries, and why shall I not level your company as a fraud & 420. Further why shall I not consider legel action against your organization, since I have to bear loss because of your inefficiency in service and delaying of 3 months and till date not closed.

I have a credit card of icici bank in which the points earned on credit card (Cc) spent is credited to payback account. 1st of all there's no option but if you have credit card that payback is the only option for your points.
I was aware that the points are credited to payback but had absolutely no idea that your points get expired unlike any other normal cc where your points keeps accumulating till you choose to redeem. I kept getting some promotional sms from payback but absolutely no email/ sms about my points getting expired. Why such non-transparency? When you can send me promotional sms then surely you can send me updates on my accounts. Incidentally on 10th aug'18, i happened to call payback requesting them to stop sending promo sms and that's when i enquired about my points too and on further digging learnt that some 3000 points are already expired.
I requested them to reinstate the same as i was not aware of expiry concept and they agreed to do so for all of my points and said it will take 7 working days time. I called up on 18th to check the status as there is no communication from their side. When i had called on 10th aug'18 they said that i will receive an sms on my service request which i didn't receive.
Some executive picks up the call and trust me there begins one of the worst customer service experience. The quality of their officers is too too bad. I had spoken to some executive on 10th aug who was decent enough and he offered to reinstate the points i have lost. He assured me reinstatement of all my points. Request no. Is 17187060. There was this female called sulita who attended me. Believe she is too bad as she doesn't have even basics of customer service in place. She was rude, back answering and absolutely unprofessional. I asked her the no. Of points for which the reinstatement request is taken. She kept on saying 2500 w/o even listening to my explanation that it should be 3000.
I had also marked them some mail in between highlighting my concern but the response i received from them is something else that some information in my profile is missing so pls update?? Really??
Today is 24th aug'18 and i am clueless about my request. I called up and they asked for another 7 working days. Meanwhile there will be few other points which will get expired. I doubt how this company works. Its a fraud company with absolute lack of professionalism and business ethics. Pls note that my total points value is rs.1500

cheating.. not crediting the payback points

I received a message on 6th july 2018 about an offer from payback for my payback number [protected] (Mobile - [protected]). As per offer, on shopping using payback points on selected big bazar/fbb/hyper city outlets, 100% points would be refunded back. Accordingly, i have done shopping on hyper city, inorbit mall, bangalore but i never received the points back.

I raised the issue with payback and they are saying that offer was not applicable on this store. However, this store was there in the list i received in the message. However, to fool the customer, payback team has removed the content from the link now and it is not working.

I started a transaction on ebay from my payback points but the transaction was failed and my 8428 payback points were deducted. On contacting ebay i got to know that my points have been credited back by ebay and it would reflect within 5-7 days. But still i didn't get my points so ebay suggested me to contact payback with reference id as mentioned below. I contacted payback and they promised me to resolve my issue till november 2nd, 2017. But till now my payback points which was earlier 14210 have not been credited back. Tried to contact payback 4-5 times but i am not getting any response from them. Kindly help.

I have purchased item from eZone. It was told to me within 15 days point shall be credited. Its more than 3 months the points are not credited. I am calling to the customer care services still it is not being received and they keep on hold for 20 min. A office Mr. Hari Nath Reddy told he is taking special care of this issue, it is more than a month issue still remains unresolved. Payback is making fool or Shri Hari Nath Reddy, Manager i dont kno but i want people to make this viral.

Mobile number delinked failed

I had 2 Payback cards linked with 2 different ICICI Bank accounts and both bank accounts having 2 different mobile numbers.
Payback merged primary payback card with the card I wanted to cancel but eventually de-linked my primary mobile number that I was using with my primary payback card since many years and updated mobile number of cancelled card.
Now I am requesting them to re-link the mobile number number from last many days but they are unable to solve the issue instead asking me to resolve the issue at my end that causing me mental harassment and wastage of time.

My Card number is [protected]. i had lost this card on 6th June 2016 at Big Bazaar, Phoenix Market City, Whitefield Main Road, Mahadevpura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048.
I had called up Payback Customer Care on 28th after i received message that my point had been redeemed, to block the card and reverse my points, however the concern is how can someone use my card in Big Bazaar without PIN or OTP

Ordered item not delivered

This is in continuation to my earlier mails regarding delay in shipment with regard to order placed to Payback for which details are given below.
Order placed date[protected]
Points Redeemed-25444, Extra Paid by ICICI credit card –Rs 9589.00
This order was supposed to be delivered within 10 days (ie on[protected], but even after 23 days, the status remains the same.I have been in touch with Payback through phone, mail etc, but every time they have gave me different reasons for not delivering the material in time.Today with lot of difficulty, I have escalated this to their higher ups and able to speak to Mr Subrath, Floor supervisor in Bangalore and even he couldn’t provide me the date of delivery of ordered material even after 23 days of placing order.
Even though being a privileged customer of ICICI bank, I could not get the expected service from ICICI bank to resolve this genuine complaint.Under these circumstances I will be cancelling my existing ICICI credit card, (Card No-[protected]) w.e.f[protected].I will be deducting Rs 9589.00 from my credit card bill towards above said payment made to Payback order on[protected].

ICICI bank replaced my card and asked me to shop two different merchant of their partner and i will got 1000 points, i done it but i did't got any points i asked they told it will come after two months today we have 4 months lots of mails but the points never come, they made fake promise and no one is working even after doing lots of mail complaints

At back reward points redemption, a very inferior quality goods are sent. And they say they will not take back.it is their ultimate authority of whatever amount substance they can sent against rewards.photo shown on theor website didnot show the size and quality and against 25000 points goods worth rs 1000/- sent and few in broken form.

Icici in fraud with payback

A Bank like ICICI has taken up a fraud vendor like Payback is unacceptable. Are the intentions of both malified or they want to cheat everyone.
I am surprised that so many complaints and still icici is still not taking cognisance.
I never got the payback card and on the top of it one day i receive an SMS saying some 4000+ points debited from your account.
On raising the alarm with payback, they said they will solve the query and never ever reverted back.
Infact now my login is blocked and i believe no one is there to hear the grievance,
ICICI Wake up before people start throwing dirt on you guys.

Not able to redeem points at big bazaar without card

My company which is tied up with payback is providing only virutual pay back numbers to it associate now. Hence I went to big bazaar which is a partner of payback to redeem my points. But they are not allowing us to redeem points without card. They are saying their systems are not allowing it. Please see that your partner stores has mechanisms in place to even redeem points without card. I have registered mobile with me.

My 10000 points woth 2500 INR are not updated

I purchased Samsung galaxy S6 edge phone on 12-4-15. On that day there was offer of payback.in that i will get 10000 points in my payback accounr. I could see those 10000 points in my Smartphone application named My Rewards. But that points were related with my phone number only . Other my details was not found match with that card. Then i talked to payback customer care. And said my problem.
They gave me time of 15 working days but till now i haven't get points in another payback card which they send me and told that they would definitely credit my points.. My number is [protected].

I have placed a Redemption Order No.: 8600593, Dated 15.05.2015 for RAPOO M10 WIRELESS MOUSE (ITEM Code No.: 54745) and accordingly the same product have been delivered to my Permanent Address (Kolkata, West Bengal, India) on 18.05.2015 from the Vendor LAKEE e SHOPPING INDIA, Dealer in Electronic Items, 6 & 7, 3rd Floor, Raheja Complex, 68/834, Anna Salai, Chennai - 600 002, Tamilnadu, India against Invoice No.:[protected]Customer Code : 211002).
After receiving of the Ordered product (M10 Wireless Mouse), I have tried to operate the same, but it is very surprised that it is not working and fully defective condition.

Cheating consumers
Payback is cheating consumers and taking them for a ride. I am extremely disappointed by the attitude, lies and lack of professionalism and integrity. Nowhere on their website do they state the validity of the vouchers they issue (which is 3 months). Then they refuse to respond to your requests, phone rep says log on web while web never responds

Hi
I am a payback member with number ending 6105. I am also disappointed with payback customer service. I made a purchase of Rs. 32012 at Flipkart on 01/12/2014. I had followed the procedure during the transaction but the payback points never got credit.
I informed payback customer care about it around 3rd february 2014 and they had asked for the delivery confirmation. This was sent on 07th Feb 2014 and still there is no clue as to when the points will get credited. Service request number is 8082232.
Its so painful to keep the track of all the transactions and get back to payback when the points are not credited. Hope the points will get credited soon.
