Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service and Exchange Policy
On the occasion of the birth of my baby boy, my father-in-law purchased a shirt and pant as a surprise gift for me from your store. During the purchase, he specifically inquired with the salesperson about the possibility of exchanging the shirt in case of any issues with the color. The salesperson assured us that an exchange would be possible.
However, upon returning home and examining the shirt, I found that I did not like the color. Consequently, we contacted your store to inquire about the exchange. To our dismay, the conversation with the shop owner was highly unpleasant. The owner displayed rude behavior and unprofessionalism, stating that he would not honor the exchange due to Raymond's policy.
It is disheartening to be treated in such a disrespectful manner, especially considering my long-standing patronage of your store. I have attached a bill for your reference.
However, upon returning home and examining the shirt, I found that I did not like the color. Consequently, we contacted your store to inquire about the exchange. To our dismay, the conversation with the shop owner was highly unpleasant. The owner displayed rude behavior and unprofessionalism, stating that he would not honor the exchange due to Raymond's policy.

Complaint regarding product exchange

I have purchased 3 Shirts & 2 Trousers from the Raymonds (Karrahi Road, near Barra Bypass, Kanpur) Outlet. One of the shirts (Park Avenue) which I purchased on the warm consolation of the shopkeeper which he claimed to be of 100% cotton has a very poor cloth quality. Also I had purchased 2 Trousers, one of which I purchased on having the warm consolation of the shopkeeper for stretching the trouser perfectly as per my measurements is streched in a poor way and also (Claimed to be 100% cotton) has a very poor cloth quality.On the warm solace of the shopkeepers that I would be helped out with all the issues (product exchange) related to the products I had purchased, I bought them and now when I am facing problems (poor cloth quality and bad stretching) and willing to exchange, they are rudely denying on exchaging (1 Shirt & 1 Trouser) . I had been a premium customer of the Raymonds since years, also I have exchanged the products many a times and had a wonderful experience with the great service. I want my products (1 Shirt & 1 Trouser) either to be exchanged or get my amount back refunded or else I would have to raise a complaint to the consumer forum.

Leather Belt - Disfigured due to peeling off

I have purchased a leather belt (Brand: Park Avenue) for Rs.1599/- at Reymond Shop at Raichur, Karnataka on 24.12.2020 vide invoice number S20/1360. After using for 4 or 5 days the belt was disfigured as the outer layer was peeled off at several places. Three photographs showing the damages were sent to the company. I have returned the leather belt along with invoice to Raymond shop, MG Road, Raichur on 24.01.2021 and asked for a suitable replacement. They promised to arrange within 10 days after contacting the company. Later, I have visited the store twice. Every time they asked me to wait for a few more days. I told them that if belt is not available for replacement, I would like to purchase a garment for the value of the belt. They have not accepted for this request. So, I wanted them to refund the amount of Rs.1599/-.
I have requested the company through mail dated 15.02.2021 to refund the amount of Rs.1599/- without any further delay as the belt was disfigured due to low quality or low workmanship. They have replied ([protected]@raymond.in) through mail on 26.02.2021 that they are taking this up with the relevant team. Later no response received from them. I have sent several reminders. But no reply from them.

I purchase raymond suiting coste rs 2850 per metre for 3 pcs suit. I wear suit on 7 May. quality of cloth very bad.

We purchased cloth for pant and shirts cloths and given for stitching in the same outlet on[protected] The cloths were stitched with no proper fittings, even though I told repeatedly to tailor he stitched badly. Please consider the issue seriously and rectify properly. ( First stich was tightly fitted I asked for alteration again it is same).

Customer harassment and pathetic service

I have purchase a shirt on date[protected] for gifting purpose and that time I have clearly mentioned that if the shirt is not fittings then you got the change and they are agreed OK no issue. But next time when I visit the shop for change the shirt they are suggest me that wait for one week and they arrange the same shirt regular fittings or one size more. Next week when I visit the shop same issue and request the same, coming next week.
After 2 week there are arrange different colour for me and I am agreed to take the shirt but that time the shopkeeper clearly mention that if you taken the shirt you have paid more 800 rupees for that purpose . I have denied and request him to arrange the same shirt one size bigger.
After 2 and 3 working days, the shopkeeper calling and request me that kindly came to our store and take a cloth and making from their store replacement of my old shirt.
I have clearly denied and request him to return my money but the shopkeeper clearly mentioned that they have no more choice for me.

I have been purchasing Blazers, Pants & Shirts from Raymond Showroom (Chromepet, Chennai) for the past 12 years. I believe my history can be tracked through my Mobile Nos.: [protected] & [protected]. Recently i got a Pant material from your Showroom and gave it for stitching to the Tailor who is attached to your Showroom. He completely messed up with the measurement. When i went for trial, i was shocked to see a pyjama instead of a Pant. I left the piece back and walked out. Almost a month has passed by and none of them even called me. I have visited 4 times now and always they take measurements...bcz they don't even know how to stitch it properly..I had a very good image of raymond bcz m a regular client but this time very disappointed..

Dear raymond,
I have purchased a shopping of 11564 in which 6 pents and 6 shirts were there on 31st july 2019 at sangrur (Pb.), then the owner and his 2 employees recommended me to stich these clothes at their tailoring aslam who was from company and company offered a scheme of free stiching with replacement of old clothes. I denied them to stich those things because i was having a good tailor already who asked me to come at his shop, but raymond employees forced me to stich these clothes only at raymond scheme not with mine.
Also they told me that if i will stich these clothes there then i will get a scheme of free stiching with company accessories genuine and i will forget mine own tailor, then i agreed with all things and ready to stich as per their guidelines. I went to aslam raymond tailor and get checked all sizes of pent and shirts with all samples.
I provided 1 shirt and 1 pent samples also to get him cleared that i want these types of clothes not others - but after 10-12 days when i picked my baggage then found that those were totally out of sample which i were given to him, neither any shirt nor any pent was according to me.
These were very bad condition, size too large, buttons was not at proper size, shirts too loose as per size, narrow length also was bad, shape and everything was really very bad. I complaint him to correct and single single correction i spent almost 20 days but still i am not getting proper correction in my clothes.
Every day and in every round i am just asked by saying that please come back next day, it will be fine. Now if the every moment and story if i will share in mail that it would be difficult for me to write here.
In conclusion, the clothes are not as per my size and sample, neither they are correcting it nor they are replying, yesterday they all abused me very loudly when i demand my clothes unstiches back and replied by saying that i will do as per my wish but we are not returning your order.
Now i want any md complaint id or consumer complaint against your raymond shop at sangrur or please return my unstiches clothes or shopping amount as i am unable to go and back this shop on daily basis, every clothes gets very bad condition while changing the size and correction but still not coming as per my fitting. So please support me to return my money back or provide the md complaint id against raymod.

I can't believe that such a reputed as such a bad service. Employees there don't explain how the cloth is and their just start adding prices as they wish. We purchased a three piece suit for 20, 000 they have stitched it so bad that it seems like it worth just 20 rs. And they are taking it back i want my amount back i really hope ate this raymond brand such a worst brand ever seen

Sir, i purchase a shirts from your reymond shop at - chandur bazar, dist - amravati in maharashtra state. But this shirts is defected & i complaint about this but they not give me proper solution. They said that this is a defect of tailaring not a cloth. If i purchase from your shop who is tailaring? They not replace a shirt & not solve my problem. Also they pick my shirt one month in his shop & they not call me for this. If i personaly go to shop then he return my defected shirt. I m not happy from your shop because we provide only defected atoms. Return policy of defected atoms not available on your shop. Your shop is not customer oriented it is only company oriented.

I Buyied Cloth from Raymond store and gave it for tailoring on same store .At the time when i visited to receive the goods .The finished product was not stitched as per my requirement, i requested the store to change the fitting as per my requirement & even asked to change the cloth provided for pocket as the material give was not upto mark. The store denied with a rudeness (bad behavior) .After which without receiving the cloth, i went out from there as i felt uncomfortable with their behavior.
This complain is already being shared to Raymond Customer Care .But still there is no response.

I want to raise complaint against the raymond shop which is located at virginina mall, whitefield, bangalore. I bought a suit on 15th january which is cost of rupees 16124/ and i have given that suit for alteration and tapering and sales man said i can collect that suit on 17th january.
Again i went to raymond shop on 17th jan for to collect my suit but nothing was done on that day, still i have visited 5 times but still i haven't got my suit.
Kindly find the attached invoice.
Please take action on it and provide me the solution asap.

Complaint regarding defective Trousers sold to me by Raymond.
Dear Sir,
I was a regular customer of Raymond shop located at Dev Plaza, S. V. Road, Andheri West, Mumbai - 400058. Over the years I have made purchases from this shop for over Rs. 60-70, 000/-. I particularly purchase trousers of size 100 which fits my waist properly.
On[protected], I made purchases of Rs. 9, 649/-. Of these there were two trousers of Rs. 1, 559.40/- and Rs. 2, 399.40/-. Theses trousers were kept at the shop for adjusting the length and collected by me after 10-15 days. They were washed / dry clean as is my practice before wearing new clothes. While wearing for the first time I noticed the following defects:
§ Trouser-1 did not fit me at all as its waist was well short of my size. When I checked it with my other trouser of 100 size purchased from this shop only, I found that it is 5-7 cms short in waist.
§ Cloth of Trouser-2 was warned out / had become very thin.
Due to my pre-occupation, I could visit the Raymond shop only on[protected]. Mr. Dipendu, the manager on duty told me that Trouser-1 looks altered and that I must have made such alteration. About Trouser-2, he said that there is no defect in the cloth of the trouser at all. On my insistence he kept the trousers for QRP check and assured to revert back. On my call to the shop on[protected], he told me that QRP has advised them that the claim for Trouser-1 can not be entertained as considerable time has passed between the purchase and the complaint. He said Trouser-2, has been used and the cloth has been damaged due to wear and tear. As such complaint regarding Trouser-2 can not also be considered. I went to the shop again on[protected], and told them about the defects in the trousers for which the shop / company alone is responsible and these trousers should therefore be replaced or my money returned. The manager declined to provide me the requested relief. On the contrary he said that they will alter the Trouser-1 to fit my size. Why should I wear altered clothes when I have paid for a new trouser?
Since my genuine grievance was not redressed by shop, I lodged a complaint with the company’s customer service cell on[protected]Ticket No. 14989). After 5-6 calls to the customer service cell which kept assuring me that they are looking into the matter, finally on[protected] they replied that there was no defect in the their product and so the complaint can not be considered.
I was astonished to receive such reply which is nothing but a blatant lie. I propose take all the remedies available to get justice against this company which promotes its products with the tag line ‘The Complete Man’.

I purchased trouser on[protected] from Raymond showroom EDM Mall Ghaziabad (UP) of 92 Waist size as tag was showing. when I wear it waist was loose & measured it was 95. I informed to showroom they are telling we alter your waist not exchanged.This your management mistake then why I will suffer from quality. I purchase 3 shirts from elate mall Raymond's showroom Chandigarh. Two shirts are defective. I show defect to him. They are ready to replace it. Given 15days time. But they not inforned any thing about replacement. I contact after 25 days. They are charging 40%extra for replacement is it fare
I have purchased this product from your site and just use of only two time this it has been damaged, i just purchased it just for normal walk not for any type of hard work out.

Failure of belt buckles

I have purchased 2park avenue belts costing rs.1100 & rs.1250 from Raymonds showroom, Hanmakonda in Jan 2011 & May 2011 respectively. Buckles of both the belts are with spring and locking arrangement. I was perplexed to notice that the spring action and locking arrangement of both the buckles failed. When we approached the showroom the response was very poor and intolerable staring that without bill the issue cannot be honoured. We are a regular user of Park Avenue products for the last 25 years. Failure of Park Avenue product caused a lot of pain. I request your good self to instruct the company to honor our issue and resolve the problem

Normally My Father use to take 1.30 mtrs for his trousers but the taylor in a Raymond shop in Nagercoil(Tamilnadu) asked My Father to buy 1.60 mtrs as per the company's recommendation & My Father done the same.When he got his trousers stiched back its not properly fitting him by this My Father got frustrated & a sort of mental depression.Now i am quoting this that it should not happen to anyone in future & the shop's name is CREATION'S TAILORING SERVICES C/O RAYMOND'S-NAGERCOIL,TAMILNADU & the Order Number is 4411 Dated 13/09/2009.

Raymond — Termination of card
I am S.Sathasivam,My Card No. is [protected]. As I am disappointed with Barclays bank card. As your SMS as on 25.02.2009, I have cut the card to 4 sides across magnetic area and there is no due balance. You have sent SMS to my mobile [protected] that "we are sending the statement through victor coutier" as on 06.03.2009. Please no need to send any statement. Please cease my card account.
Raymond — sacking without any reason
Dear Sir,I hav been sacked by raymond ltd., in one day with out any valid reason i too escalate my problem to chair man desk but their is no response from any body its really shocked being ethics company some times they act cheap
May 7th ho person Mr. sunil Yadhav (retail Operation) suddenly entered my store on my week off they do cross chek merchandise and cash 8th i am entering then i asked what happening we had a doubt moreover i hav rights to check he said late evening they agree every thing is perfect but they force me drop the resignation letter if not i will prepare a report you done some fraud in the store i will create black mark in retail i hav no other option to think in the critical situation i drop the letter then keep sending mail for salary release PF Process then HR promised me i will get surely compenstation for me that full of fake commitment later i faced tremondous pressure to lead a normal life for 4 months i am became jobless everywere manpower constraint i never forget all those incident in my life pls take some action on this if you can otherwise if somebody in my place surely the entire family would hav die because of the raymond company
My name is KARAN KOLHE, I am not satisfy with the commitment of the shop owner i.e. stiching the clothes, I purchase 1 pant piece and 2 shirt pieces on 4th february 2011, they have committed me that they will give the clothes stiched on 8th february 2011. I called them on 7th february 2011 to remind, they told me that they do delivery of stiched clothes on 8th february 2011 by evening. then i reached their on 8th feb to raymond shop. he told me that they cant deliever me the stiched clothes. The service and their language is third rate. Please enquire them to make delievery on time.
