Auto don't use meter. Charges are as per their wish
I am travelling in navi Mumbai area from kamothe sector 1 Bharat gas to dmart
All auto drivers charge fare as per their wish.
Meters are installed it they refuse to use saying their rates are fixed
Eg today I travelled 1.3 km distance from kamothe sector 1 Bharat gas to D Mart kalmaboli and I had to pay Rs. 40 which otherwise by meter would be Rs. 23
I am sure the panvel concerned authorities are aware of these daily issues so why are they not fining the auto drivers and improving the situation?

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the non-transfer of vehicle ownership to the second Owner name. I had sold this vehicle which Toyota Fortuner with Registration Number MH 46 X 9153 to Mr. Naresh sharma on April 2014 and I had signed all the required documents for the ownership transfer. However, despite numerous follow-ups and even visited Mumbai from Kerala to sign an accidental insurance claim in 2017 from Wasan Toyota Panvel, the transfer process has not been completed and the vehicle is still under my name which is Shaji K Ghevarghese. Upon further investigation I came to know that he has already exchanged vehicle from Kamal Hyundai, Kharghar and they are now trying to sell the vehicle as 1st owner with false information.

1. Month and Year on which the Vehicle was sold to Mr. Naresh Sharma - April 2014. Since 2014, he haven't changed the ownership and also on 2017 when the vehicle had an accident, we had to travel from Kerala to Mumbai to sign the insurance papers. At that time too we again shared all the necessary documents with signature wherever required.
2. Vehicle Model - Toyota Fortuner 3.0L 2WD MT

4. Chassis No. - MBJ11JV[protected]

The non-transfer of ownership is causing me a great deal of inconvenience and fines tagged under my name.

I request to freeze the sale and further service from RTO and immediately transfer the ownership to Mr. Naresh Sharma from Shaji K Ghevarghese and sell the vehicle as 2nd owner so that the upcoming buyer is not cheated.

Also, am attaching the mail received from Kamal Hyundai for more documents

I am sure the panvel concerned authorities are aware of these daily issues so why are they not fining the auto drivers and improving the situation?

Also there are so many auto riding share rides which rule allows such rides?

The auto drivers( MH46 AC7979) charges a mere amout of Rs.40 from Shiva Complex, Sector 19, New Panvel to Panvel Railway Station (distance 1.0K approx). Rikshaw driver argument for additional 10 rs. Night charge at 5:15 am, no meter available, no uniform also established minimum fare 30 rs. + 10 rs. Night charge.
Also, the auto drivers are adamant to not take a rupee less than the said amount.
Panvel RTO need to be take action against such autorickshaw drivers.
It is unfair...

Uniform is not available, without permit and fare cancelled by rikshow driver

Auto Rickshaw Driver MH 46 AZ 1140, harrassed me and attempted to hit me in the middle of the road at Kharghar just because he wanted to jump a signal and I didn't let him go
He tried to hit me many times and also pushed me off my scooty
Please take action against him or I'll go to the police station

First of all, the autorickshaw was parked on the footpath, (walkway) Which isn't permissible...This auto driver, who wasn't wearing any uniform had a passenger with him, whom the driver affirmed was a friend...were abusing and troubling people in Manasarovar, kamothe. The driver claimed to be an associate with some local goon and threatened me of dire consequences if I raise a complaint...
Requesting the department to take necessary actions at the earliest so that citizens feel safe travelling by autorickshaws in the city...

The auto rickshaw driver driving the auto rickshaw no. MH 46. AZ. 3932 asked for excess fate than meter at 11:36 pm outside kharghar railway station at rickshaw stand. When i asked him why doesn't he wants to go with meter, he started shouting and spoke abusive words when when he saw me capturing pictures of his crime. Whatever required should be done to stop such malpractices and their abusive and violent nature after a responsible citizens reporting against crime. I was trying to attach photos of the culprit but site isn't taking it. Kindly response if any action taken

The auto drivers charges a mere amout of Rs.40 from Khandeshwar station to MGM Hospital, Kamothe Navi Mumbai (distance 1.5K approx) for 2 seating and Rs 60 for 2 seating during each ride when according to the the meter it would be only Rs. 21/-
Also, the unnecessary extra fare has been increased post lockdown and the auto drivers are adamant to not take a rupee less than the said amount.
It is unfair and baseless to charge Rs. 40 for a single journey of 1.5Km. Also some drivers are extremely rude and misbehaving. Please do look into the situation

Well Sir this isn't a complaint actually. Scores of people travel by two wheeler daily on the Uran phata- Uran road to daily. Every body must have noticed building material dumpers playing on this road overloaded with material which almost some material get spilled on the road which make utmost dangerous for the two wheeler driving. I'm a 62 years old and have met with the accident twice by skidding on the fallen debris. Sir, I'd like to request you to please look into the above matter and put some restrictions on these spilling dumpers, that can even cause DEATH.
I not only hope but am sure about the Navi Mumbai RTO instant action, to take the request into consideration and do the needful.

On 20th /12/2020, @ 12 noon at the Mahape, signal < navi mumbai .I was stopped by the RTO officer. The offence was traffic signal jumping.I apologised to the rto and gave my license . I was surprised when the rto officer demanded RS 1200. As per him Rs 200 for signal jumping and 1000 for dangerous driving. I requested the officer not to be unreasonable and charge me for the signal jumping offense. However he refused and demanded a settlement at 600 RS . I refused and i told the rto officer that i will pay as per my offense which was signal jumping. The rto officer took and offence and confiscated my license. He asked me to collect my license from the Mahape rto office . I requested him to give me a acknowledgment of the license confiscated - he refused to give me any acknowlegement for the license that was confiscated . This i found very suspicious. I asked him to give me his name and no to which he showed his tag plate and said " you may complaint to any one " i will teach you a lesson. .I again requested the officer that i respect the men in uniform for the service that they are giving to the city of mumbai, and they may take the charge as per my offense on my credit card.HOwever he refused and asked me to go to the Mahape, RTO office, Navi Mumbai and collect the same. He also told me that there is a past offense that remained unpaid on my car regisration no . I confirmed to him that the old charge may also be collected from me, however he did not relent and took away my driving license . As a law abiding citizen of mumbai, i just request to know if the officer followed the rules as per the motor vehicle act. If he has followed the rule, i have not issues and i dont want to press any charges, however i feel the way the entire matter was handled i have some suspicion. request your help urgently so that hapless citizens are not troubled like this.

I request your urgent intervention as this is a serious matter and if small and medium industries, manufacturing essential pharmaceuticals goods are harrassed like this, am not sure what must be happening to common people

It is very difficult from Panvel station to reach INDIABULLS greens as there is no bus service other than Auto rickshaw are running without meter it becomes very expensive. Now so many years have passed no one from RTO has taken initiative to make a depot NEAR IB GREENS.
Requesting out suggestions and heard and necessary action are taken.

The same has been confirmed by Bhim UPI vide complaint no as below.

The Parivahan site reflects this transaction for the amount of 5195, vide transaction ref MHY[protected] and Payment Id ref MH201227V8178072 as transaction failed.

The amount is debited from my account.

Please look into the matter and do the needful of either forwarding me a receipt of the paid amount or refunding the same to my bank account.

On contacting Parivahan, their Technical cell has replied as follows.

Dear Sir,
The payment made gets deposited in the Govt treasury. No refund can be made through the application.
The applicant may approach the RTO/Bank/ Transport Department for manual refund process.

Earlier before lock down, it was Rs.15 share for shedung for omni share taxis from gandhi hospital. After lock down keeping in mind the social distancing rules they increased to Rs.30 but only 5 passengers in the taxi. From 23rd November 2020, they increased the capacity to 7 passengers and reduced the fare to Rs. 20 but nobody is following the share. Kindly help in the matter. Rickshaw stand - gandhi hospital.

I took auto(MH 46 AZ 4337)from nerul LP for belapur and kalamboli with my friend and the amount was decided but when I got down in belapur and paid for me and my friend who was going to KO kalamboli the auto driver refuse to give my changes balance money back and kept doing the same after while he started abusing me and my friend asked her to get out of auto in middle of highway which I didn't like I took my phone and pic is number plate pictures after that he start fallowing me and started pushing and asking me to delete the picture or else he I'll hit or teach me a lesson I decided not to get physical as I was with my female friend but he took Advantage of that and kept pushing my tired to choke me but he couldn't and at the end me tried to snatch my phone on which I strongly stood and faced him which made him realise the situation is out of his hand now so he ran away .
My main point is we live in Mumbai and still face such disgusting things strict action should be taken against such people.

Nuisance of rickshaw is on rise. There's no limit to what they charge the customer. During rains charges shoot up with 50-60rs fare for 2kms.. Now they are charging minimum 40rs for 1.8kms distance. Is anyone looking at these issues?
We are also earning money our hard way, hiking prices even for shorter distance is not right.. Either increase the public transportation or put up meters in rickshaw. Pls understand common man's struggle...

My sister was in the 9th month of pregnancy. Then I stopped the auto rickshaw auto rickshaw number MH 46 BD 4960 He refused to go to the place where I want to go.Then after we sat in the rickshaw he asked us to get off the rickshaw that time my sister was having stomach pain.Even after requesting the rickshaw driver four or five times, he refused to go out.

This is something I experience almost every time when I try to get an auto from new panvel railway station. Getting an auto rickshaw is itself a huge task at New Panvel railway Station. The Auto drivers are rude and fearlessly deny a passenger to take to their destination just because they don’t will to go to the same place. They argue for no reason. The recent auto rickshaw number MH 46 AZ9320 did the same thing today and hence I m writing this because i can’t take it anymore. I hope RTO takes a strict action against this because this is against Law.

In new panvel auto stand certain auto drivers refuse to carry passengers to short distances within the one kilometer range though they are in queue. They only accept hawkers with goods for transportation who come to sell in the evening markets. They are especially rude to the common passengers and challenge them to submit complaints against them. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

This incident happened on 23 aug 2017. Evening time near rickshaw stand. 7.30pm

I am a frequent traveler to panvel for one of the homeopathy doctor appointment in gurusharnam complex vishrali, generally it requires 20 rs to 30rs by meter to this location from panvel station.

As i was in hurry, i took this auto and driver start driving directly, i said i want to go to "gurusharnam complex vishrali" he was driving and said it will take 40rs till that location, he started arguing on 40rs though there meter is not working, instead of arguing i got down from that auto (Rickshaw was still inside panvel station main gate) and he forcefully ask me to seat again in that auto by holding my hand (Almost dragged me) saying now my auto is out of the rickshaw line and you have to pay me.

This incident was really unpleasant for me, after dropping me to nearby location he never gave a chance to take picture of his auto or him. (Literally ran away)

I request rto regional officer to please take strict action against this auto driver who is doing "dadagiri" over innocent passengers and looting them. (There are many more auto drivers who demand money by location instead on paying by meter, most of the time passenger don't have any option, may be time constrain or no other transportation available)

This has to be stopped now.

Autodrivers are taking more charges unnecessary from panvel station to dmart. For travelling from panvel station to dmart auto drivers are charging 30 rupees but actual price is 20 if rates are changes why not put the price change label on back side of driver so that customer can understand that rates is been charged. By telling orally that rates is been changed by auto drivers how can we trust them that means they are cheating us unnecessary since we are giving them the business so they have to respect the customers. Today i got badly experience that arugment from auto driver saying your life would not begood, you will be not happy in your life. Is this way to behave with customer since customer is giving the business to auto drivers and he forcefully begged for giving the extra money 10 rupees since from panvel station to dmart... Since we are regularly travels through auto we know the charge from panvel station to dmart is 20 rupees not 30 rupees. If actual charges is changed try to intimate the customer by putting label on back side of driver seatand signed by senior management so that we can trust the auto drivers.

Auto rickshaw near sector-4, auto rickshaw no - mh46 0694, the auto rickshaw driver was wearing a earphone in one ear and watching a movie, i didn't came to until he was driving in unusual style and as he wasn't paying attention he could have hit or had an accident. When i told him about his doing, he declined and said "i have just started watching". I think as a auto rickshaw driver he should have a senseful discipline. Please find this guy and make him understand the value of his job.

Today morning i was traveling from auto number mh 46 bd 0365 from shivaji chowk to railway station, old panvel. The auto driver allowed another co-passenger without my consent and still was expecting me alone to pay all the travel expenses. He was being arrogant and abusive. Please do something about the arrogance of auto drivers in panvel. I am hoping you will take some actions against the said auto driver at least. You can find him at the shivaji chowk auto stand or railway station.

After passing two wheeler driving test on 19.5 17 . I have not received driving licence up to till date .Driving licence no MH46 [protected] WAS ISSUED on 19.5.17. I approached to RTO Pamvel office but they adviced me to deposit 600 fess and apply for address change .but my address is same .There should be a procedure to get licence after showing address proof and ID in case of licence not delivered by post at the address.Please advice me how can I get my driving licence . Good morning sir. U am stay in new panvel near by dwarka sweets. Today i have gone to auto rickshaw stand for taking auto to railway station. My wife she is pregnant. She has swelling on her both leg. She can't walk to much. I have requested to auto rickshaw driver to take auto from sector 4 from near by from home., so that i can drop my wife to out of the society then i will go to the railway station. He straight away deny the request and ask for more money for dropping from sector 4 to railway station. His auto rickshaw no is mh 46. C.1963 and registration no as follows mh462400b2014. I need to take strong action against this auto rickshaw wala ho has denied to help pregnant lady. And asking for more money. I don't know what happens in panvel. This is auto rickshaw walas doing all this things with commuters since long time. But i don't know why panvel rto is not taking action against them. Even so many rickshaw walas doesn't have documents such as license, rc book, insurance etc. If they don't have all this document so how can they ride a rickshaw in panvel city. Is panvel rto officers are sleeping or what. Or they just taking salary from government which has been detected from our salary as a tax.
