I had purchased an UPS from Scneider (APC) in 2020 June. There were some batetry issues and those are being periodically replaced by SE's dealer, when the request is sent to SE (on payment basesi, Battery cost plus service). Recently, on 24th June 2023, a battery was replaced (it took more than one month follow up after complaint to get it done). Now, within Battery warrantee period (one year), the new battery has again failed. Complaint given to the company[protected] on 26th September), but it still is unresolved, and in fact the company is asking for 'Service Charges', despite failure within warrantee.
Disgusting... the Case[protected] has been closed on 14th October without doing anything at all, New case[protected] lodged... but I don't think anything will be done here either.

DO NOT BUY SCHNEIDER PRODUCTS IF YOU WANT IT TO BE FOR A DURATION SINCE ONCE THE WARRANTEE PERIOD IS OVER, THEY WASH HANDS OFF... LET CUSTOMER STEW IN ITS OWN BROTH... AFTER ALL THEY DID MANAGE TO SELL ONE PRODUCT DUPING SOMEONE...

    Hi Team,

    I have raised a complaint with UPS got damaged two months back till it is not resolved .

    Asking to send the snap shots and attached everything even though there is no proper response from the team

    Finally worried about why i choose Schneider electric ups and wasted my money it around(5500) till now i didn't switched on the UPS
    Same Story here ... Case[protected] closed without attending.

      I had purchased Schneider Electric products from Elmech Techno Services on 15th Jan22 for the entire house

      Since day one I have been facing issues with the fan regulators. Based on the complaint raised at the Schneider Electric customer care, 2-3 regulators have already been replaced.

      On 6th Aug22 early morning at about 4:30am I was trying to reduce the speed of the fan/turn of the fan using the regulator for one of the bathroom's but it was not working & was free in movement. Within minutes I could see smoke coming out of the plate on which regulator was installed & when I tried to turn the regulator off, it was very hot. To control this situation & without any delays I put down the MCB, but the fan was still on as it was on power back. So I also had to shut down the power back up system so that the fan could turn off.

      This is a very serious issue & don't expect a company like Schneider to produce such inferior quality products. It seems the quality of model of the regulator provided is not up-to the required quality standards.

      I spoke to Akanksha at Schneider explaining her the situation but she has taken this complaint quite lightly. Till date nobody has visited the place to investigate the issue. Instead I just received a call for the fan regulator replacement.

      Would require a swift & appropriate action from Schneider to get this issue resolved on priority basis, as it may lead to more hazardous situations in the future.

          Placed the order on 26-Oct-21. Product not received till date despite multiple calls/ emails to customer care. Whenever I call the customer care, I am being told that an update will be provided in a day bu nothing happens. Didn't expect this from Schneider.

                  Purchased "opale" switch for the bunglows 4 years back. Since then i m getting continuous problem with the switch. Till now almost 40 switches are replaced.
                  Need your help to findout root cause or if the problem with the lot of switch during that period then need replacement of all the switches.;

                  I have done this complain on 23.10.2018 and since then i have mail to customer care many times. Every time i got the different case id but no one call or visited the site till now.

                  Pls do the needful to resolve this issue asap.
                  Switch quality is very poor. They declare that it will withstand 40000 operation but more then 50 fail in just 3-4 years normal use at home. i.e. 8 to 10k operation. We must involve BIS as they have approved them to put ISI mark. Though the product does not meet required life.
                  Asking bills for such low cost item is also looks very silly.
                  Product quality is poor and switches must be replaced. Consumer forum, BIS and Government should take this up at higher level.
                  Cost of switch is low individuals may not spend time and money. Company is taking advantage of the situation.

                    2, once again spoke to saideep at 11. 25 am - promised action with the assurance - top priority
                    3, once again spoke to skanda at 3. 40 pm - he said he has escalated to seniors.

                    I called to all these people vide tel - no - [protected]

                    Now the time is 9. 10 am - 27. 8. 15, till now nobody has come forward to rectify the complaint despite the fact i had agreed for paid service

                    Absolutely pathetic service and apc has put my domestic computer unusable because they profusely practice delayed customer service

                    I thank indian consumer complaints forum for keeping this site, so that lakhs of customers will benefit from understanding such pathetic service from apc.

                    Schneider electric - battery - apc - ups (Apc smf battery (Rbc2) ry leaky within 1 yr 1 month (Though the promise is 2 - 3 yrs)

                    I am not writing this complaint to get free service, but out of sheer concern for having trusted the brand apc. 1, i was using apc - ups for last 15 years for my various domestic computers and was confident about the product. 2, 4 years back i purchased upgraded computer and i was advised to go for apc - back up - rs - 1100 3, i never had problem for 3 years until battery has to be replaced 4, on 3rd july 2014, i replaced the battery through soundry power systems, perambur chennai and invoice no - sps / ups / 628 / 14 - 15, delivery note 695, despatch document no - 3926 - description apc smf battery (Rbc2) - s, no:b[protected], eb[protected] (I hv the field service report signed by the service engineer and he has picked up additional rs250 / as service charges) 5, value of 2 nos battery is rs 1911 after deducting cost of old batteries. 6, whilst cleaning my computer yesterday, i saw a leak underneath the ups which was black in colour 7, i opened the ups to find battery leaking and terminals corroded. 8, i called up your toll free [protected] and spoke to mr sanjay today at 10. 45 am, and to my surprise he said warranty was only for a year and it has expired and it will be serviced at a cost. (Customer complaint ref no[protected], please note warranty elapsed on july 3rd 2015 and that is not the issue, but a battery which gives normal life of 30 - 36 months leaks in 13 months ???. What kind of a quality to trust ? 10 i have adviced mr sanjay to advice the concerned to service at a cost, but what trust do you want me to have on apc batteries can you please advice me better batteries other than apc, which can be cost effective and good?                     With out any load, it is tripping
                    i have couple of floors which i provide on rent. I bought couple of schneider electric sub electricity meters for my tenants. it gives accurate reading. I never got any complaint from my tenants after installing schneider electric sub electricity meters. Very reliable product.

                      I have been using products from schneider electric from last 4 years for my factory. cabling, automation equipment and everything. I can say that schneider electric is best when it comes to electric solution for industries.
                      Leave aside 2 to 3 years... these people don't adress the problem even within warrantee period of Battery (one year), once the Warrantee of the UPS is over, they don't bother. My battery (UPS is 3 year old) failed in 3 months and I am booking complaint, calling them, for one month.

                        Two Clipsal C-Bus 2 dimmer & Relay manufactured by Schneider Electric (part of electric cable network of the flat) installed less than 1 year, costing Rs.70000 each have failed.
                        Customer care rep on call refused to replace under warranty, without feedback as to where actually was the cause of failure. No complaint report was submitted.
                        On follow up with building FM, assurance were given for resolution, but since 4 months follow up company does not respond.

                        There has been no known error/irregular/unwarranted use or installation of any kind in the flat, as builder provided ready to move in apartments.

                          Hello Sir,

                          I had applied for the gas refill on 16 th July, At your distributor named : TANVAR GAS AGENCY, in
                          intspite of repaeated follow up, the Agency has failed to deliver the Gas twice, As you know in this busy schedule I had personally taken off from my office to recieve the Gas.

                          I am extermely fed up with this gas Agency, and their behavior towards the customer.
                          and the false promises, they are cheating with the customers.
                          I would request to please take some strict action against this agency,
