We are residents of Surtabai chawl, Dhobhi Ghat, Malad East which has been handed over to Mr Devendra Pandey for redevelopment under SRA. It has been since many years we havent been paid rent. Even he hasnt allotted us our home. We are paying rent from our own pocket since last 5 years. He even asked us to forcefully agree that he has paid the rent and there are no outstanding dues. He hasnt even paid a single rupee... Please take appropriate action against him and that we all receive our entitled rent. Many o[censored]s I mean mostly all o[censored]s belong to backward class and many are mum on this matter since they dont want to get involved in legal matters
