There are various shops which had encroached the road and made life of pedestrian movement hell in Balmukund Khand, Giri Nagar, Kalkaji, New Delhi as well as at Tilak Khand and Amichand Khand. The entire inner area comes under the jurisdiction of South MCD and require action now. These establishments have been requested personally by the Residents Welfare Association to clear the road pavement and make it easier for pedestrian use. But greediness and self interest sometimes make people blind. Under this circumstances we have no choice to lodge a complaints for clearance of footpaths. These are at both side of the single road of Balmukund Khand Giri Nagar, Kalkaji, New Delhi and further at adjacent to Labour Court Building by JJ Cluster, further at adjacent to PWD Building compound at Tilak Khand and entire stretch of Amichand Khand, Giri Nagar, Kalkaji. Please clear all for the pedestrian rights of the people as well as residents as per the Supreme Court Guide Lines.

I am the resident of Gali No.2, Ekta Vihar, Jaitpur Extension, New Delhi - 110044 (Central Zone). The open storm water drains of the gali are linked to the main sewerlines connected to a big nalla. For the last fortnight, due to blockage in the pipe linked to the to sewer, there is no disposal of the water in the drains. Thus, the drains are over-flowing on the street and there is hardly any passage left for the residents to move. Due to this, foul smell is prevailing and there is every apprehension of outbreak of epidemic in the area. The matter has been brought to the notice of the concerned authorities of SDMC, but no action whatsoever has been taken as yet. The residents are living in a very pathetic and unhygienic conditions. Kindly take prompt action to remove the blockage and cleaning of the gali / area. Om Prakash r/o C-83, Gali No.2, Ekta Vihar, Jaitpur Extn., New Delhi

The entire area has become a breeding place for Dengue and Malaria mosquitoes. In spite of repeated requests no proper action has been taken. After sun set it becomes very difficult for the residents to take rest. When ever the mosquitoes bite the particular portion of the body become very much itching after that the portion becomes swollen. The Health Department of South Delhi Municipal Corporation is not at all listening to the requests of public. Please help the residents to live peacefully. The garbage den near our block and Shiv Mandir is one of the main places that breeds uncontrollable mosquitoes. Please take immediate action against the erring officers who are not at all taking care of such problems. Thanks

The illegal construction and misuse goes unabated and perhaps getting facilitated with blind eye of the MCD in the background of long holiday week.

              Monkey Menace

I m a resident of E - block Saket, near Anupam PVR, New Delhi -110017 and Want to complain about the growing menace of Monkeys in the Locality, with over 15-20 of them, it is almost impossible to step out of the house. There have been many instances that they destroy our clothes, plants, pipes, cable wires and constantly disturb us any day any time. They even come into our houses if left open by children sometimes and open up the fridge and take out food stuff and all. Some days back we even faced 2-3 accidents because of monkeys. The instances are becoming more and more frequent.

You are requested to kindly do the needful as it is really dangerous situation for Senior citizens, kids and ladies.
