The broadcaster, Star Sports Select has consistently affected the viewers experience of watching Formula 1 races on the channel. During this year, 2021, Star Sports has repeatedly placed 1-2 minute commercial breaks in between the race.

To put this into context, a Formula 1 race lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. The event does not have any particular breaks i.e is a continuous event, where the live action does not stop. Star Sports placed these commercial breaks around 7-10 times during the race duration, resulting in around 25 minutes of disturbance during a Formula 1 race.

These advertisements are also repetitive, the Renault Kiger ad plays twice or even thrice during ONE commercial break. On so many ocassions, we as consumers miss out on critical moments during the race.

In the last 2 series involving India, Sony started the trend of showing when bowlers are about to start their run up, clips of old games and other trivia disorienting the viewers. You seem to be following the same trend with the commentators frequently demonstrating how the ball should be hit and other coaching tips. The viewers wants to watch the match without interruption and they are definitely more interested in what's happening on the...

Star Sports should stop having ad breaks during live formula 1 races. Ad breaks of 2-5 mins, multiple breaks at times back to back, ruins the race and the viewing. In addition, this creates a dislike for the products that uses ads to interrupt races. Hyundai, TVS, etc. YOU ARE LOSING YOUR AUDIENCE by paying for ad slots that are mid race.

Star Sports Select 1 HD or Star Sports Select 2 HD were supposed to broadcast the 2021 Formula 1 Russian GP Qualifying at 5:25 PM IST on Saturday the 25th of September 2021, but instead Vivo IPL is being broadcasted. It was also mentioned at 2:30 PM IST on Star Sports Select 1 that F1 Russian GP will be broadcasted at 5:25 PM IST. But Vivo IPL is being broadcasted. Poor Scheduling of Programs by Star Sports.

Channel (Star Sports Select HD 1) was supposed to telecast Formula 1 Russian GP Qualifying live on Saturday but the channel started telecasting VIVO IPL instead.
The channel has been not following their published TV Schedule

RJ Balaji is the worst commentator ever I had seen. He is always praising and supporting CSK and blaming other teams. This is not the actual role of a commentator. Not only RJ Balaji all the other co commentators are doing the same.

When Star sports select was launched, it was meant for a football channel.. but as time goes by it has bcome more of a cricket channel...

Even while a live English premier league is going on, (when there is more than one matches at the same time) Ipl live match is shown on one of the star sports select.. There are so many other star sports channel to broadcast cricket why choose star sports select??

FYI, Football is the most popular sports in the world, not cricket. Not all Indians love Cricket.

Please broadcast cricket matches on other star sports channel, not star sports select.

If it is not properly dealt with, Many Viewers may unsubscribe this star sports select channel and switch to Online streaming Platforms, which is easily available these days.

I used to watch English Premier League (EPL) football in Star sport Select 1 by subscribing it 2 months ago. I subscribed this channel because this is the channel where start sports used to telecast EPL.
Now the problem is IPL (Indian premier League) cricket is back and star sports changed all the EPL live and related programs from Start sports select 1 to Star Sports select 2.
This is totally unfair and too frustrating to every consumers. I subscribed SS select 1 to watch football and not to watch another sport. Now i have to subscribe another channel to watch and i don't want to spend money to a channel who cheats their consumers like this and even if i subscribed SS select 2 what's the guarantee that star sports won't change EPL to some other so called channel SS select 3 or 4 or 5 after some other days.
This is cheating.
I sadly and most frustratingly requesting to take necessary action against these.

I usually watch Formula one. Unfortunately in India it is aired in Star Sports Select. When I say it's unfortunate it's because Star Sports pop up with silly ads in every race atleast 10 to 15 times. Every ads will run at least 2 to 3 minutes.. Usually the race will last long not more than 2 hours.. Imagine the amount of race we miss with these bloody ads. You have to do something.. Coz these channels like star sports earn money by airing ads and by spoiling our rights to watch sports..

I am paying to watch a race. But all I'm getting is a bloody advertisement every 2 mins. In the middle of the race. If they can't air it properly and spoil the whole experience by ### ads, don't buy the airing rights!!!

Please don’t get broadcasting rights for any sport other than cricket... And why the hell are you showing the same slugfest Sania’s game on 2 channels... And why the hell there is no option to watch the men’s singles QF between Kachanov and Shapavalov? Star sports is pathetic as always... Why don’t you care of the customers other than cricket lovers ? Thisbe never get rectified until the there is a major change in management... Thank God Ten sports took rights to broadcast Euros and Copa... Although the quality of the channel is not up to the mark, their management knows what to show... Please learn something from them...

Why are you giving 1 minute advertisements after every 2 minutes in star sports select 2 hd in formula 1 races

Your advertising levels in F1 are a ### joke. They cant even complete 2 laps in the middle of the race and you chuck on another advertisement. Are you guys having a laugh. What is this nonsense. I want to watch the goddamn race not this bloody [censored].

Please show better wimbledon matches from the men's singles. As a tennis fan I don't think anyone wants to watch Saina Mirza over people like Zverev and Kygrios especially when their match ups are so good. Please show those matches.

Why you are not showing formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix live on star sports select hd2 what’s reason behind it, that you are showing different programs at time of live race

Why Wimbledon'21 is not telecast live on star sports2, 3 or star select that are included in star group instead of showing one type of program on all three channels.It aired live on another group star select sp 1 & 2 for which we have to pay separately & paying for sports 2, 3 & select watching nothing or same old repeated programs.
Pls consider and do needful.

I specifically subscribed Star Sports select 2 HD to watch French Open, but it's being ruined by other p[rograms and Cricket. Why is cricket fed on every channel of yours, is there no other sport?

Hey Star sports, maybe do us all a ### favor and start the formula 1 session earlier, and not late by showing a "fake" live on there, I don't think there can be a delay as bad as 10-12 ### minutes on the coverage. Also stop with the ads when the race is going on, a lot of interesting part is being missed due to the Renault kiger who nobody wants to see. You may show unlimited ads after the formula 1 session, y'all being greedy for ads now.

Why are you always showing cricket matches now a days in star sports select 1 . I have subscribed this channel for English football league .. when there is matches going telecast them.. I have not paying only for cricket matches.

I subscribe for select HD 2 just to watch formula 1 and they always shift it to any non HD channel
And they do it on almost every weekend
They are broadcasting IPL on three HD
channels why??

As approximately 40% Indians are vegetarian. This is not a good ad. And after this pandemic(which is caused due to non-veg)also you are promoting non-vegetarian food, this is not good. Now even people themselves are adapting vegan diet. And you should know that eating non-vegetarian food leads to many diseases you shouldn't show it. It's a humble request. Please don't show it. If you are clever you will not!!

I don't understand why F1 is telecasted in different channel every time sometimes in select2 sometimes in sports2 I don't understand the point of telecasting same content in all the channels. Please try to telecast F1 in star sports 1 or 2 or 3.

The star sports now has been telecast in different channels which is good, but while seeing ipl live I can see only starsports Tamil.and commentaries are not so good.and the other channels are not telecasting live ipl.please do telecast live in other star sports channel too.

After the match between Csk and KKR, venugopal rao over reacted about CSK's win and danced like an ### because I am a kkr fan basically, are you guys running a non biased channel? Or you want the fans to get hurt? I want a proper explanation from your side however, I will lodge a complaint against this channel in the comming days because I found its an insult and provocative.

Today on April 16 2021 there is free practice of f1 but on all channels there is ipl which is just not acceptable

I don't get the point of showing advertisements in the middle of a live race.
It's not even that the advertisements are short... We are shown 4 to 5 advertisements consecutively, which amounts to 2 or even 3 laps of the race. I understand that adverts from the broadcast sponsors is what makes the channel money but one must also think about the viewers. Nothing is more irritating than having a series of advertisements shoved into your face just when something interesting is about to happen.
I wouldn't mind the advertisements if they were during yellow or red flags, but having advertisements shown when the cars are still racing is just disappointing.
