Cash transfer from pounds to rupees
Hi Team,
I received a mail and call from royal bank of Scotland confirming some 40000 pounds are pending for transfer to my account to which they asked me to pay around 300000 for wtc code and 20% of the main amount for generating tax code. i have made the payments to below account

Royal bank of scotland's major banks. But a lot of fraud in the name of the bank through this lottery. Even fraudsters can create an account at this bank. This should not be happening. Is fraudsters people who work in this bank???

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I had availed a Personal Loan from Royal Bank of Scotland , India.
Personal Loan Number : 9417661.
After clearing the due and asking for a No Objection Certificate with the bank , I was informed by the bank that there were still some dues and needs to be cleared before issuing a clearance letter. I sincerely agreed and with the bank and paid all the balance amount declared by the bank on 19th April ( Rupees 11660) and the bank issued a NOC letter on the 20th April.
However, I requested them to issue a clearance letter to CIBIL organisation and update me the same. After repeated attempts calling up to the bank and visiting there office in Residency Road , I was only given assurance that a note would be sent to CIBIL.
On 30 May 2012, I received a letter from Phoenix ARC that I still own a due with Royal bank of Scotland and pay the entire outstanding dues immediately. Since then I am trying to reach the Bank on +[protected] but there is no response. I have also sent the NOC letter from the bank to Phoenix ARC help desk email id and there has been no response.
Due to this long standing default in CIBIL records . I could not avail loan for my need.
Please help issue a notice to Royal Bank of Scotland to Clear off my dues and get the CIBIL records corrected immediately.

My mother had a RBS credit card. I made a payment of 710 on 04/07/2011 though net banking but the amount gets back to my account. When I asked customer care they the concern person should speak to them. But I mentioned to them that my mother don’t know English in that case they said to send mail to us. When I sent mail to them they sent replay saying that the concern person should sent mail, when a person don’t know to speak English how she can send mail?. And in nest statement we get a penalty of 650 rs for not make the payment on date. and again I called customer care same story repeat but we come to know that the IFSC code is changed in earlier payment but I get the IFSC code though Google search and it is ABNA0100310. As per the statement the overall due is 10819 rs and I paid 10820 rs on 1/08/2011. I request the customer care to close the card. They said that the card is closed. And I received a mail on 8/08/2011 saying that the card is closed. But I received a statement date on 15/08/2011. Saying that a balance of 200 rs is pending in my credit card amount. Again the same stories repeat to speak with customer care. On 25/08/2011 customer care is accepted to give wavier of 200 rs. But the conformation on 29/08/2011. When I called the customer care again the same stories repeat to speak with customer care and again they said that the due amount is still pending in our account we should pay the amount immediate. When we are not paid with in the due date again penalty will be made in our card.

It is a pleasure to place it on record that pursuant to the discussion had with your Bank in respect of the over due payments on loans agreement being No. 9438932 and the settlement amount arrived at Rs.108,000.00 (Rupees One Lac Eighty Thousands only) against my current outstanding dues of Rs.2,51,409.26 (Rupees Two Lac Fifty One Thousand Four Hundred Nine and Twenty Six Paise). Which was payable in one (1) installments with in 20th January, 2011.
By a cheque being No.[protected] dated 19th January, 2011 amounting to Rs.108,000.00 drawn on HDFC, Salt Lake Branch,the settlement amount was paid and that cheque was encashed in favour of the said loan agreement on 20th January, 2011.
In your letter being Ref. No. [protected] dated 11.01.2011 it is noticed that the Bank would withdraw all the legal proceeding pertaining to my Loan Account No. 9438932 provided the entire amount as per settlement Plan is paid successfully which is governed by the terms and conditions mentioned in your letter referred above and the Credit bureau record will be up dated as “Settled” within 60 days of closure of this settlement but in stead of following the terms and conditions referred above your authorized representative filed a complaint case being No. C/3616/2011 before the Ld. CMM at Calcutta on Nil dated 2011 which is unwarranted and unfair for banking business.
In this regard I call upon you to issue a letter withdrawing the complaint case being C/3616/2011 under section 25 of the Payment & Settlement System Act,

Royal Bank of Scotland(previously ABN AMRO) — Not providing settlement letter for Loan
I got loan from ABN AMRO(which is now Royal Bank of Scotland) two years back. And I paid all my loan amount correctly. When i finshed all my dues and I asked for settlement letter,they said that I have not paid my full loan amount. I paid all my loan amount through check. So my bank statements stands as a solid proof for me. Even showing all this documents as proof,Still they not provided the settlement letter. I have walked to back for last two year, still they not able to come for a conclusion. Helpful

Incomplete information provided on e Statement

Hi,
I have been using a Credit Card issued by ABN Amro (and now RBS) for over an year now. When I took this card I was told that there will be no Petrol Surcharge on the usage of this card. Every month there would be a surcharge which was levied on the Card but it used to get reversed in the next month. Recently I noticed that this has not been happening. When I noticed this I called the RBS Customer Care where I was informed that the Bank has changed this policy. When I asked them that why wasn't I informed, the Customer Care Rep told me that it was mentioned in the Aug statement. When I checked my eStatement, it was no where mentioned. When I pointed this to him he told me that this was mentioned only on the hard copy of the statement and not on the eStatement.
When I repeatedly asked the Rep on why this was not mention on the eStatement he told me that not all information can be provided on the eStatement and that such policy changes are only mentioned on the hard copy. I fail to understand that why this was not mentioned on the eStatement. I get the eStatement every month and have always made the payment against the details provided in that. It's only today that I found out that the bank provides the details based on their convenience. This is extremely funny considering that it is a global card. eStatement reaches you irrespective of where you are but the hard copy comes to you only if you are not traveling. What is the point of having a global card when such important information is only sent as a hard copy?
I tried to explain this to the Customer Reps (Giridhar and Imran) both of whom refused to acknowledge the issue. I repeatedly told them that it is not about reversal of the amount but the way RBS works but they were not ready to take this feedback. This is surprising considering that Banks are moving to eStatements as a standard and e-mails as a standard mode of communication. RBS is ready to accept eTransfers as payment but cannot send policy changes via mail.

Respected Sir,
I was having a credit card of ABN Amro Which number is :: [protected]. Actually before two and half year they had by mistakly activated the scheme of World is Yours and when i received the statement that I found that by mistake they levied me a charge worth Rs 4800/- in my statement. I immediatly took the follow up for the same with the customer care of ABN Amro and they told me that the amount will be reversed with immidiateeffect and it will be reflacted in the nect bill.
But again in the next bill the same wmount was reflacted with interest and late charge. I again took the follow up and the excutive came and meet me. He commited me that amount will be reversed and I have to pay remaining dues.I paid Rs 1000/- to him and took the receipr of the same and also he wrote on the slip that the remaining amount will be reversed off. The amount which I paid was on[protected].
Then till date I havent received any statement of dues from the bank and not even call for the same. Suddenly on 23rd April, 2010 I received the letter from Praveer G Shetty (Advocate High Court) regarding my previous dues to Royal Bank of Scotland and told me to pay remaining amount Rs 19608/- as on date[protected] with 3.5% interest per month.I went to meet Mr Ravindra Jani at K G House, 2nd Floor, Ghod Dod Road, Suart to clarify for the same. But I wentthree times there and he didnt meet me there and even not pickingup my phone.
Now Royal Bank of Scotlend dont want to hear anything regarding the same and I donthave dues on this also.
Kindly takea note of the same otherwise I have to go to court and file a case against RBS.
Please do the needful and revert me back for the same.

Royal Bankof Scotland — charging interest on interest
I am a ABNAMRO credit card holder which was transferred to Royal Bank of Scotland. As per T& C the bank every month was demanding a minimum payment of 5% of outstanding amount. According to this whatever amount is utilised shall be cleared by 20 months peior or 20 monthly instalments. Every month the balance shallbe reduced by 5%. In fact the Bank is calculating dail;y interest on outstanding balance and adding the interest to the Principal on which 3.5 percenent is adding. i.e. they are charging interest on interest in which case the amount utilised can never be recovered. I have purchased cloths worthRs.6540/- During 2006. Even after 4 years the principle amount stands at 15,000/- approximately. No adjustments were made for the amounts paid in between. As per March,2010 the outstanding balance was shown as Rs.53,000/The very next month it has increased to Rs.78,000/
Approximately. As per new Bank Directions now they are recovering 7% of the outstanding balance. Is there any remedy for this

THE ROYAL BANK of SCOTLAND — not received credit card,only bill received
Dear Sir,I am having credit card no. [protected] of abn amro earlier which was dropped on march 2010 and on immediate i have block the same and after that month i have paid all duses on monthly basis as below -
07 april 10 - rs 1000/-
28 may 10 - rs 1000/-
It is for your information that i have paid last bill of rs 345/- only on 18 june 2010 reciept no RBS376839.
And now bank has again send the bill of Rs 1121/- how come it is possible????
So it is a request you to kindly look in to this matter and do the needfull for me.

RBS Bank / Credit Card — Higher side of interest and charges
Dear Sir / Madam,I have a credit card of RBs (Which was ABN before) and they gave me normal card first and upgraded the same to the platinum card in future and they said it is a life time free card and to pay any renewal or member ship charges. But when the ABN is taken over by the RBS and the card controll changed from them I received statement for my usage with the member ship fee of Rs. 2000 added.
This is cheating because a card is given on no fee base and the other bank after taken over they are charging all the fees for the same card how this will be acceptable by the customers.
Please do the favour by getting this information from the RBS.

IN JAN. 2011 STATEMENT DT 03/01 /2011 AN AMOUNT OF RS-1435/-IS ADDED EXTRA.AS PER CUSTOMER CARE THIS AMOUNT WAS MY SEP.2010’S PURCHASE, WHILE I HAVE PAID THE SEP 2010’S BILL AS PER THEIR STATEMENT IN TIME OCT 2011.I REQUEST THE C.C.( CUSTOMER CARE DIPARTMENT ) TO PLZ SEND ME THE DETAILS OF SAID AMOUNT OF RS-1435/-. BUT NO DETAIL IS SENT TO ME ( TILL TODAY.)I HAVE PAID ALL MY DUES IN TIME . BUT LATE FEE IS IMPOSED ON ME . I AGAIN REQUEST TO C.C. BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN . THAN I MAIL TO C.C. THAT TO PLZ. DISCOUNTINUE MY CREDIT CARD . I AM NO MORE INTRESTED TO COUNTINUE THE CREDIT CARD.I RECEIVED A CALL FROM C.C THEY ASSURE ME THAT IF I PAY RS-1435/- ONLY , ALL THE LATE FEE CHARGES ETC. WILL BE WAVED, AFTER PAYING THE AMOUNT OF RS-1435/- STILL I AM CHARGED LATE FEE CHARGES EACH & EVERY MONT. I AM FORWARDING THE MAILS WHICH I SEND TO C.C RBS BANK FOR YOUR READY REF.

harrassment towards closed od account

I had an od a/c 896697 with abn amro bank and from 2 years back in 1998 bank has withdrawn the facility of od as per RBI guidlines and closed my od a/c by giving notice letter that I have to pay all the outs upto 31st aug 2008 whether in one short or in installment but total out must clear upto 31st aug 2008 and for this repayment abn will not charges any interest. So accordingly i have paid all the outs od amount and then bank has closed this account. Now, after two years today bank name has changed to The Royal bank of Scotland and today RBS has debited my closed od a/c from rs. 2100.10 as an interest for late payment and asked to pay and threatened me that if i will not pay then, bank will frequently harass u for this non payment and ur amount will increase day by day. I informed everything about abn procedure for the closer of my od a/c but RBS executive told me as on today RBS has started the procedure to completely close this over draft account by taking this interest payment from every customer who had availed this service 2 years back, if customer dont pay then, his credibility will be degraded in crisil which is required for every customer at the time of taking loan. Now, you may please book my complaint against RBS and take immediate action on the bank and reply on my email id and , why this new bank is harassing every customer for that payment which does not belong to him.
