Regional Passport Office, Bhopal had written a letter to me on 25/09/2007vide their letter No. 2/915022/07 dated 21//01/2008 stating that Demand Draft has to be revalidated since the date of Demand Draft was expired . Again I had sent a fresh D.D on 18/03/2008(D.D.No. 665165 dated 18/03/2008 of S.B.I.payable at BHOPAL main branch through Speed Post (Bearing No. SP EK[protected]IN)on 19/03/2008 from Post Office at Shakthinagar S.O, Raichur Dist., Karnataka State.Till date I had not received my Passport. My mother has recived her passport from the Mumbai UK High Commission duly stamped for a six months visa. However, it has been stamped with a date 18th Sept 2009 whereas she reaches here on 18th April 09 and should be allowed to stay till 18th Oct 09.

The mistake is causing some avoidable inconvenience and probably some monetary loss - if we are required to have her British Airways ticket changed due to this mistake.

Base on the requirements of this visa, you must produce an IELTS certificate to the British visa officials to certify that you have achieved level 6 in spoken and written English and that is dated no more than two years prior to the date of your application.
However, since you have not written this examination for the past two years, I have spoken to IELTS administrator British Council and SIEC to get this certificate and to back date it for two years since, you are to posses it not more than two years prior to the date of your application. Therefore, in order not to retrogress the progress of your visa application, you are to arrange 48, 800 India Rupees. This is what it will take to get this certificate issued from the said council.
Nonetheless, even though you are to write this examination now, it will not be useful as you are required to bring two years old IELTS certificate. So I urge you to act speedily to this as this is highly needed here to carry on the process.

The city police has cautioned citizens to be careful about fake job offers in the United Kingdom (UK) through e-mails.
Recently, an unemployed person was duped of more than Rs 4.60 lakh by an e-mail that offered a job in the UK.

According to Central Crime Station (CCS) DCP R S Praveen Kumar, the victim, Ch Sudhakar, who posted his resume on naukri.com, received an e-mail offering him the post of a software engineer with a salary of 4, 800 pounds per month at Marriott Residence Hotel, London. Sudhakar was also offered an air ticket and free accommodation from Sir Powel, Human Resource Development

Manager.
Sir Powel asked Sudhakar to contact Claire Tuhey (Asia zonal coordinator and office in-charge of British Council) for visa-processing.
Sudhakar was selected through an e-mail interview in which he was asked to give brief answers to the listed questions within 72 hours. Based on the score, he was sent an appointment letter through e-mail and lured to deposit Rs 4.63 lakh in various bank accounts for visa-processing.
“Believing that he had bagged a job in the UK, Sudhakar borrowed money from his friends and relatives. But, even after sending the money, he did not get the visa. Realising that he had been deceived by Nigerians, he lodged a complaint at the CCS, ’’ Praveen Kumar said. The police has listed out measures to avoid getting duped by e-mails promising jobs. I have received a very similar appointment letter from Marriott hotels in London. The wordings of the letter and the mail exactly match the ones that were given to Mr. C. Srinivasan's. On calling the Marriott Hotel at Kensington, I was told that no one by the name of Mr. Powel C. works there and all mails from his end are to considered as Fraud.
Also I would like to find out if anyone by the name of Mr. Claire They exists at the British Council in India?
As I do not want to pay the GBP 300/- and give my documents and other identity to someone who is a fraud and there are very likely chances of them mis-using them.

We will catch them very soon, as CCBP are on job to nab them sooner or later on right time.

After all this I suggest that just layoff>>>> any offer you get from these BASTERED via cyber mail, whether Jobs in Offshore drilling Industries, Hotel Industries, Construction Indistry, Engineering Indusrty, Firms and other establishment in UK as they are frauder and scammers!!!
